  1. I can definitely stand behind this decision. I must say, this looks absolutely awesome. Good luck on this project, it already looks to be coming along really well :thumbup::thumbup:
  2. I've gotten the Hawg to drift pretty well one night during a snowstorm. It was right on the parking area. Give that a shot ;) EDIT: Also rain would probably work and you'd get better visibility. As far as temps though... I have no idea. Just thought id share
  3. Wow. That will be a joy to fly in and rip up some ground targets! Beautiful! And the FPS look pretty solid too. at least on your rig. Thanks for the update!
  4. Sure it seems like it would take a lot of CPU horsepower. But lets see... Microsoft's Combat FS3 did an acceptable job... in 2002. Sure the FM was crap and so was almost everything else by any of today's standards, but the tree collisions worked and it was a large scale map. I'm just saying, it's not impossible, perhaps just some programming/ design ingenuity.
  5. AWWWWEESOOMMME!! did not see this coming! Thanks ED always surprisin us :)
  6. Vampire, Scrolling down over your post, I saw this after the DCS skin and thought "WOW I don't remember THAT kind of external model detail, What an amazing skin!"... And then I realized it was real life. And then I was sad. Though I would like to say it would be really cool If you added real life touches to a skin like the tape and other minor nicks and fading paints. That would be really really authentic:thumbup: PS does anyone know a way to operate DCSW at the native res, but take screenshots at really high-res?
  7. Trying my hand at some color correction in Adobe Lightroom. In fact only the first and last are unedited.:)
  8. I'm wishing for something along these lines, except with new Aircraft http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=48698
  9. So sad! especially when it's decapitated at 8:43:cry: Only more violent and sad IRL. Many times I have ended up decapitating a T-toad this way, though.
  10. I am afraid that that is the way it going to have to be. Time and effort costs money. Frankly with so much work being put in by a team that seems to be increasing in size, into a relatively low volume product, the prices are going to rise. I don't speak for ED at all but I think this is true.
  11. Cool wallpaper worthy shot: Edit: these are nice too.
  12. Haha oh great, now I wish I could just cross my eyes!
  13. No Worries! I like the way it looks. If that is what you're trying to achieve, you're doing a good job!
  14. Is this something new? never seen the ingame A-10 look like that before. EDIT: Also, that skin adds a lot of effect. It almost looks chrome, or I suppose polished aluminum. Looks funy on the A-10 which always has a Matte finish Kinda like this P-47:
  15. I would also like to see improvement to the tops of the clouds, especially when it's overcast. I don't think I need to post pictures, because if think if anyone's ever flown on an airliner at cruising altitude, they've seen those big fluffy mountains of clouds that just seem to rise out of nowhere. Right now I feel like when flying above cloud cover it's just a boring, perfectly level desert, with mountains popping through in the distance. It would be an absolute joy to have some of those clouds and sort of random, beautiful columns and tufts and billows. I dont understand the rest of your post but , does Yo-Yo have something impressive in the works? That would be awesome if he does. Other than that I don't know what you could be implying:huh:
  16. Speaking of which it would be cool to see wing tip vortices happen at varying degrees of intensity and frequency depending on the humidity... and of course prandtl glauert singularity along the same general idea. All relying on that basis humidity is in fact taken into account. If not, then I think it would be something nice to have in the future.;)
  17. Looks nice Mustang! Is that your ground texture mod on top of the 1.1.1.1 Patch? Edit: Also where is the dust that normally gets kicked up from that altitude?
  18. Mount a lil modified BB gun to that, take her out into the desert where no one's around for miles, set up a target, and have a ball. Throw a first person view camera system in there and your good to go. That be my idea of fun. :)
  19. Ooo. Sniper XR, Helmet mounted displays (never would have guessed BTW), and the GAU-8 out in the open. Looks like cool stuff there at Spangdahlem. Thanks for Nice pictures Dragon.
  20. I may be wrong but I wouldn't expect much to come from the Nevada team about this. Generally it seems there isn't much info prior to release... at least not now when its likely several months from release.
  21. If I may also say so, you flew a nice routine, but for your sake I think I would do some research on the record AVI built in tool. I've never used it but I would expect it to be easier than stitching together 30 sec clips.
  22. I believe you have to start the left engine first for the hydraulic power to actuate the foot brakes as well.
  23. It's only one picture, but I like the way the lights reflect.
