UM there is no ABS in aviation. you stand on the brakes you blow tires. pump the brakes

The actualy operation of secure voice in game is something i think would be highly unlikely as well as IFF. Not happen. The devs can prove me wrong. but the actual function is classified. atleast the MODE 4 adn MODE 5 IFF operations you might get MODE 1, 2, 3/A, S AND C

what color is the warning?

The A10C has obogs. as long as the system is functional you dont run out. I guess they didnt model that. On Board Oxygen Generation System. uses engine bleed air and super concentrates oxygen molecules making breathable air. LOX is obsoleet.

There are a lot of really good input here to help People. However I am going to baby step it a little more. I think new pilots really need to put themselves in diapers first. Follow this as a simple map to learn the hog. 1. Familiarize yourself with the systems (learn acronyms Especially the Master cautions). If you dont know how the avionics interacts everything else is greek. 2. Learn the start sequence for the engines and aircraft start up. 3. Focus on basic nav and control. Master that before moving to weapons employment. 4. Master each weapon type. Lots of practice range time. 5. when you are competent on the airframe now do some wingman practice. AI or RL. 6. Now go see how you fare with stuff shooting at you.

Avionics is key gotta learn that stuff first

Fuel feed and boost pumps. or are you asking for the fuel pick up in the bladders?

when you assume!!!!!! do the math for the rest!

At long wavelengths (eg. 50 metres) only large objects will reflect back a complete radiation pattern for collection. Therefore, if small objects (such as a fighter plane) need to be accurately recorded, much shorter wavelengths must be employed. Atmospheric interference is also less pronounced at shorter wavelengths. This is really basic theory and maybe states what i said with a little more accuarcy.

GG i am not sure that you understood what I posted.

PRF=Pulse Repitition Frequency The higher the frequency the greater the resolution of the scan. Also requires more power and creates more demand on the kylstron. This being said with high PRF you get a better track on an approaching target because you have more scanns on the track to show changes in didstance. For a track extending from you a lower PRF will do the same job.
-
Change that to a does use. Common tactics are forward controllers painting targets with lasers for either JDAM or Mav's I know for a fact that the E is flown.

AN/AVS-9 binoculars attatch to the flight helmet and really are not that much of an intrusion. bulky at first but compared to older cousins like pictured above they are quite light and easy to use

Do western RWRs display relative threat elevation?
Scabbers replied to GGTharos's topic in Sim Research
Ok here is the skinny. Passive Detection systems you are referencing are only in a 360 degree lateral azimuth. That means from nose to wingtip to tail to wingtip to nose. The system classifiies a threat and displays the treat to the RWR for emitter classification symbol and an azimuth arc is drawn. The system referenced does not give above or below information. Turning nose on the emitter and painting for the target and locking the target will give an altitude reference in the radar display. The Jstars has a phase sensor that can tell where a threat is in a 3d environment and can data link to the F-16 and F-15. Thats about as much as I can tell you. -
the reference from future weapons was of a maverick. and it was buddy lased.
-
Oscar that may be an option

yup you are right. I am now trying to figure out how to sell my wife on buying all the stuff for my pit....lol
-
What about getting 3 touch screen monitors for your 3 consoles so that you can touch the controls instead of panning your view and then the main mointor could be used for hud and canopy panning with the track IR

Project 10 - DCS: A-10C Warthog Promo!
Scabbers replied to Glowing_Amraam's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Amraam you are Awesome!!!!!! I downloaded this and I am sharing it at work. may have a few more poeple waiting on the release now...LOL -
Try writining an executable file instead of a batch. and do program calls. should work

a radar wave will return of 90 percent of all materials because of density. A stealth coating tries to absorb or redirect the wave to not provide a return but this is not 100% effective. Staying below the blanket and using terrain is the most effective mask.
-
The blade structure will always give a minimal return. however the proper use of pop up tech is to have a spotter that is locking targets such as the Kiowa that sends targets to the longbows. They stay down until the recieve a lock and pop up enough to pickle a hellfire LOAL and back down before the sam system can effect a target lock. To my meger knowledge of the russian equipment and tactics. they do not have this ability at this time. also remember a radar wave takes 12.36 microseconds to travel 1 mile and return. So one hit and your painted and plotted.

The CDU is really where all of your flight parameters are set/Viewed (IE RAD ALT settings, IFF Sqwaks and modes, GPS Displays, Com Settings for Data Bus systems)
-
That is the CDU(Control Display Unit) I wouldnt think a non programmable key board would work unless all of the key assignments for the CDU were programmable in the options page. I was under the assumption that interaction was going to be throught he MFD CDU page.

The E-2D is the first glass cockpit in the navy :)
