To be fair, those who defend ED regardless are no less irritating. I love their products, but that doesn't mean they're faultless.

Chill. ED's PR might not be the best, but they WILL deliver. Just look how far DCS has come.

To be fair, that's not what they said at all. It was initially advertised to release Q1, obviously without those bugs. So they're just disappointed that it wasn't releasing when initially planned. Come on guys a bit of patience, neither those who mindlessly attack OR defend ED when things go to plan are right.

No dates were given for those items. Don't get me wrong, if EA isn't for you I understand (we'd all like stuff faster). But access to initial EA release has always been on time from what I remember, over the years.

This is the first time ED have missed an EA release date for... well years, if ever.

That thread is still 25 pages long, covering everything DCS newsworthy. There is no specific update thread in this (sub)forum. I'm not sure why you're so intent on disagreeing with me; the very presence of threads like this indicate there's a comms issue.

No, I said this forum. Where you'd expect to find it. I'm unsure why ED continue to bury information in the news letters, then get confused as to why they're criticised for poor comms. News letters are good don't get me wrong, but not everyone knows about them, and that's not the place for up to date info.

Also, news letters are not the correct avenue for distributing this kind of information. It should be stickied on this forum.

I don't think there's much point looking to the community for an indication, as we appear to be kept in the dark at the moment.

Hi Miles, I've emailed and PMed but not heard anything. No rush but wanted to make sure I've not missed anything.

Just to add (and I know this will be obvious to some) you need flaps half/full for this to work.

Really not helpful for someone trying to learn the basics.
