  1. Yeah looks like I just need a day to try to get it working.
  2. Yeah I was never able to get that to work. I tried to get openXR to work like that originally and couldn't, the only that worked was open composite.
  3. I'm doing my whacky opencomposite thing, and overall on MP servers it looks like I've gained 10-20fps in early testing. Usually was seeing like 45-75 depending on where now its like 60-almost 90... The only thing that I've got an issue is that weird issue with reshade working in ST just fine, but only on the monitor projection and not within the headset with MT.
  4. You might need to disable openXR toolkit (use the openXr toolikit companion app) So I'm a total loss here... I'm using the opencomposite API thing to run the Aero. I have to disable openXRTK for that to work Fine... In the ST mode, reshade works fine, in the headset and on the monitor. In the MT mode, reshade works on the "monitor" i.e. I can see changes there, but not in the headset. Everything is setup identical in the ST and MT bin directories.
  5. Aha, thanks for that clarification. Thats actually hillarious.
  6. I'm just simply pointing out reality. I honestly don't care if people fly it with them. The only thing I want is a server side tic-box to disable em in MP. Yeah thats realistic as I said. You can't really use NVG's with the sight very well. Even period US stuff had a seperate optical channel for NV intensified stuff. So petro functionally has no NVG when using the sight.
  7. Yeah I wouldn't expect this year at all IMO. Maybe next year.
  8. Yeah its not a bug, you couldn't use that sight at night since it was not NVG capable. The Hind shouldn't even have NVG's, and if you tried using them IRL the NVG would be fubared from all the unfiltered red light in the pit.
  9. IIRC they also lost F14's to both the mig23MLA's and later on one to a 29. As well as F1's.
  10. Hornet also has a later version of the RWR.
  11. The CIA seemed to think so. Even in coopers book there are several mentions of badly damaged cats making it back to base. I'm gonna bet most of those never flew again, so I'd say thats a write off. As for the Phx, yeah 50% is good enough.
  12. Honestly I'd be more interested in that version. But hey we get what we get.
  13. I mean, 4.1 PSI doesn't sound like much to engineers, but like if you inserted 4.1 PSI into my lungs at an instant I'd die in rather horrible ways. Its not a trivial amount of pressure.
  14. TBH versus actual aware fighters (i.e. online MP), you pretty much need to STT em. Once in a while you'll catch someone sleeping, but in general most MP players know how to trash tomcat TWS.
  15. Yup. In the immortal words of the online community, sounds like a skill issue... And really the A models while usable against fighters really weren't all that good vs fighters. If you actually go look at counter claims from the iraq war and CIA estimates, the Iranians had maybe a 50% hit percentage with em. And IIRC lost like 20 cats to iraq.
  16. Its not 78nm, its 52nm per the non redacted AWG-9 documents. A limitation from having to update the missiles in TWS every 2sec. At any rate I was wrong about the SPO-10, upon further digging it works just fine in the AWG-9 and Phoenix freq bands. Most likely the issues was that the iraqis didn't get any warning when launched on in TWS, just blip every 2secs as they got scanned over.
  17. yes
  18. Thanks for confirming the exact reason ED needs to change their business model.
  19. Maybe, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
  20. The key sentence you missed, was that at some point (and no I'm not gonna go find it), Deka said IF the PLAF/PLAN operated the AC, they can't do it. So no flankers, no J10's, no Q-5 no J-7 etc... You can cope with that as you like.
  21. Well, if the J8PP isn't a clue, we won't get a J-10/A/B or C... Nor anything that the PLAF operated.
  22. I mean, who knows, maybe they got the plans, but I doubt aerodynamically they are the same.
