  1. Providing you hit your commence time it doesn't matter afaik...
  2. Try pressing the button to center the headset view? Default is numpad 5 (?)
  3. I am not troubled by blue light, but i would seriously recommend you go to see your optician and let them know the symptoms you are having rather than trying hacks ... most "blue light science" really isn't "Visible blue light and position statement | AOP"
  4. you do have a couple of PCIE16 slots if you look in the manual Hardware Reference Guide (hp.com) here you will find some information , but it looks like a non-standard form factor and is certainly reduced length half sized cards in terms of length, and it also looks to be a non-standard height for the card as well (based on the chassis dimensions Chassis dimensions (W x D x H) 10.0 x 33.78 x 30.81 cm (3.94 x 13.3 x 12.13 in) 10cm would be the total height of the chassis , a normal PCI card is about 11 cm tall ... so thats going to be "bad it did ship with a number of discrete cards for the platform... NVIDIA Quadro P400 2 GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 2 GB DisplayPort DVI Graphics Card AMD Radeon RX 550 4 GB 1DP 1 HDMI Graphics Card AMD Radeon R7 430 2 GB GDDR5 64-bit DP and VGA Graphics Card (not available in all regions/countries) AMD Radeon R7 430 2 GB GDDR5 64-bit 2 DP Graphics Card none of these are actually very good and 2Gb of RAM is way below the minimum spec for DCS, but it is possible you might find some form factor that would be similar "Caveat Emptor", also your power supply is also tiny for a deiscrete gaming graphics card... so given this i would have to say it's a nice gift, but its not really compatible with many modern games, and you will struggle to get DCS to run better.
  5. assuming you are running on an intergrated GPU at the moment and that that is the bottle neck, what is your budget and what is your goal , i assume you are not trying to play in VR, so what resolution is your monitor, what refresh rate does it run at? i seem to remember getting pretty good FPS on my old 1070 and 1080ti before i got the VR bug, so you don't need a massively expensive GPU to get a good play in DCS on a monitor. You might see if you can easily cheaply take it up to 32GB of RAM as well 16 is the bare minimum... same with the SSD, getting a bigger or second SSD will really help oh you might be sort of screwed (I just looked this up) HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Small Form Factor Business PC Specifications | HP® Support assuming that's what you got given you might not have space to put a seperate GPU in a box that small depending on form factor.. it's not really designed for gaming or being upgraded
  6. im running a 4090 with VR and XR enabled it doesn't have an impact on performance either way (for me)
  7. my understanding is that you can plug a Bluetooth converter into the 3.5mm jack that might help latency ... e.g. something like this HVMLAK Aux Bluetooth Adapter for Car with Swivel 3.5mm Jack, Bluetooth 5.3 Aux Receiver with [Stronger Microphone] for Car Home Stereo, 12 hours Battery Life, Volume Control, USB-C Charging Port: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo I use wired earbuds as i didn't like the idea of having to charge a different set of headphones and the adapter ....
  8. This is the F-5E forum... You need the 15E forum here https://forum.dcs.world/forum/216-f-15e/ and it would help if you attached a track file... That said it might be the track file didnt record correctly
  9. try forcing the single thread version, if your processor in your signature is accurate, i don't think it will like the MT version ....
  10. No it is certainly working for me on 2.9.x... However do check that your joystick is still recognised in voiceattack, sometimes, unbinding and rebinding it can help
  11. Just use voice attack and vaicom, say "Options" and then "Take n" where n is the appropriate number for the menu option you want, followed by another "Take n"
  12. I don't think about there is any mechanism to do what you want without cutting some serious Dev work... But I'm also not sure what you are trying to achieve, I can use all of my buttons in VR, including my mfds and ufc and combat and takeoff panels...and for everything else there is voice attack with vaicom...
  13. absolutely no expectations until GN post their reviews ... speculation is it will be faster ...
  14. For HAGS on regular w10 settings > system > display > graphics > change default graphics settings... For LTSC no idea... It's not really designed for home users...
  15. His system specs are: I don't believe MT will make much difference because of the hardware spec 4 cores and 4 threads...
  16. dear god ... switch your pixel density back to 1.0 for a start (that's 14m pixels in total per eye you are trying to drive ( you genuinely can't drive that many pixels with any performance) ... turn off SSAO and SSLR , only sharpen in one place either in OXRTK or in DCS (I suggest DCS) compared to running a PD of 1 and DLSS off which is driving 9m pixels per eye... MSAA mask size has no practical effect for performance
  17. Native openxr support now in Reshade 6.0 https://reshade.me/#download
  18. anyone who doesn't understand why this is "not simple to fix" ... this is why
  19. all my cores are unparked ... and have been forever but i checked and yes they are still unparked
  20. For me the thing I have been observing is in the f18 free flight ia in Syria, first load always gives poor performance 18-22 fps for the first few seconds of play and then intermittent there after, the second load in a session is absolutely fine, it's completely smooth and normal frametimes, I reload dcs and back to the same opening behavior as Sr said its sort of llike it is regenerating the shaders...
