depends on the cause of the shimmer.,.. in my experience thats usually down to MSAA nothing to do with the headset
clarity is a direct function of resolution and PPD , so you will be getting about so the G2 is about 2/3rds the resolution of the BSB2
likely with a wider sweet spot and FOV and higher Pixel Density

I was asked to separate, this from a ground track bug, so I'm guessing that would be the same keep it separate for air to air
As per title, I have been able to track a target close in but not at distance it, is not on all naval targets, but certainly this one, apologies for the long track I forgot to declaw it...

honestly even if they did i wouldn't put a 130 dollar mounting solution with a 50$ joystick, its not worth it... if you have a total of 180$ i'd get a 180 dollar stick and live with it on the table for now
yes it is i used to use it when i had a virpil base, the only "problem" i found was that the trim hat wasn't recognised, and had to be remapped as regular buttons, which was a bit of a pain....
not inside DCS... however.. you can do this in windows by creating a symbolic link between on one drive which connects to a physical folder on another drive , it's seamless to apps , so the just think they are using the "D:" drive even if you have a link to a folder on the F: drive

No, Im not mixing them up ... but i may not be explaining myself clearly ... GPS TIME: OFF should be the default state ... it's now ON... this is a change in behaviour ...
Here's a track , as you can see DLNK is automatically set to GPS, in the past it required you to select it ? @BIGNEWY Is this a bug or a change in behaviour?
DLNK automatically set to GPS .trk
no that not what the issue i am seeing.
once you turn on MIDS, DLNK automatically switches to GPS, in the past you would have to select DLNK and set it to GPS, indeed it's documented that way in Chucks Guide.
