  1. As per title, I have been able to track a target close in but not at distance it, is not on all naval targets, but certainly this one, apologies for the long track I forgot to declaw it... Failure to track Naval target.trk
  2. honestly even if they did i wouldn't put a 130 dollar mounting solution with a 50$ joystick, its not worth it... if you have a total of 180$ i'd get a 180 dollar stick and live with it on the table for now
  3. yes it is i used to use it when i had a virpil base, the only "problem" i found was that the trim hat wasn't recognised, and had to be remapped as regular buttons, which was a bit of a pain....
  4. Hi Guys, pretty jazzed by this, but, its not particularly clear what i need to download and put where from the github, is there an installation guide?
  5. not inside DCS... however.. you can do this in windows by creating a symbolic link between on one drive which connects to a physical folder on another drive , it's seamless to apps , so the just think they are using the "D:" drive even if you have a link to a folder on the F: drive Hard links and junctions - Win32 apps | Microsoft Learn Create Soft and Hard Symbolic Links in Windows | Tutorials
  6. ah apologies , a lot depends on budget, but monster tech are very well regarded

  10. No, Im not mixing them up ... but i may not be explaining myself clearly ... GPS TIME: OFF should be the default state ... it's now ON... this is a change in behaviour ...
  11. Here's a track , as you can see DLNK is automatically set to GPS, in the past it required you to select it ? @BIGNEWY Is this a bug or a change in behaviour? DLNK automatically set to GPS .trk
  12. no that not what the issue i am seeing. once you turn on MIDS, DLNK automatically switches to GPS, in the past you would have to select DLNK and set it to GPS, indeed it's documented that way in Chucks Guide.
  13. i didn't think the DL switch had any function in our Block 50 ?
  14. i saw the same with a warship yesterday, i will get a track and drop it here

  18. Having selected Threat Class 2, and being locked by an SA-6 and shot at, i still can't seem to find it either on the HTS or the HAD ? they are both on detecting other threats, just not one i am after, is this just me or... ?
  19. there are a few other factors that impact VR for example your FOV in most cases doesn't match your real world FOV meaning your visual scan needs to be quicker than it would be in real life to cover the same arc in the same time, which means things get missed, which means you need more "clues" to help you find things in the sim ... my 0.02GBP But this is all very different from the OP's original question ... and a separate topic...
  20. has this changed it now seems to default to GPS, I'm sure it didn't before ?
  21. this is the article i used: How to Remove Sonic Studio, Nahimic, A-Volute and other Windows Drivers and [Motherboard] AI Suite 3/AI Suite 3 Cleaner- Introduction and troubleshooting | Official Support | ASUS Global and also in BIOS you need to turn off to automatically update the ASUS armory crate but it will automatically re-install itself , if you dont turn it off and i also used revo Unistaller to get rid of anything related that was left behind, then after a clean boot, i went to windows update ... and "ta dah" hope that helps
