Same as for ground and plane hits, they all look the same. As I understand, they are working on that with the new damage model, at least for plane impacts but not sure if they will modify the ground and water effects.

This happened to me also after landing and quitting the mission. I had to modify logbook.lua in order to show the completion in the campaign menu, also manually inserted the 3 AA kills I achieved in the mission and the "Win" status.

Hi! I don't see the server in the list and can't find the IP. Can someone please provide it or is the server down? EDIT: I finally found the server and joined for a sortie. Unfortunately the F10 map was not working, asked via chat the other pilots, and it was not working for them either. Fortunately, I know how to visually navigate so with Google Maps I arrived to the objective. I dropped the bombs from my Spitfire over German positions with good effect, then I did some strafe attacks. I cannot express the joy I feel to have a server like this in DCS. This, paired with the updated Normandy map, new damage model incoming, new clouds, excellent flight model, clickable cockpits and P47 will start making DCS WWII more popular. Thanks Phil for your server!

Thanks man! Also for the server. I will try again tomorrow but the map was not showing up but it was in SP and other MP servers.

Good to hear! I am eagerly waiting for this wairbird and I can't wait to have the new damage model from ED, the WWII setting in DCS needs to step up. If you can do at least a FC3 level Zero would be really nice.

And how fluid it is? I assume that the 40 FPS get interpolated and goes up to 80 FPS?

Agree! I am a noob in the aircraft and still learning most of the systems but I love the approach of drop ordnance and return of the Viggen. I have many DCS modules and still looking to find my place but I think that the Viggen will have my heart for a while. I am keen to learn her deeply.

First, install the beta branch of DCS and then look for the server Burning Skies. It is populated enough to have some dogfight there during European evenings however, the mission is very simple. I hope that the new damage model and clouds achieve to revitalise WWII DCS as the planes are a joy to fly.

Hi pilots! I am joining the fight in this server very soon with a Mig-15, I wanted to get it for some time and this sale is a nice opportunity. May I know at which time is the server more populated?

I like most of the WWII birds so I would bring something that fits the Normandy map or the upcoming unknown maps. It seems that the setting will still be Europe so maybe a 109 G6/AM will be great. The allied side is getting the P47 very soon which will be great so we are good on that side. If ED updates the damage model soon and add some AI bombers, we could have some beautiful fights in DCS.

Still present yes. It is very annoying and quite immersion breaking. Flown also the K-4 and that one is fine.
