Is VAICOM working with the last update? It doesn't work for me. It recognises the command but it doesn't send it to DCS.

Same thing here, other player's voices are also muted but if you have subtitles on the text will show up. Not a big issue, but would be great to fix this.

If I use the 'Disable Menu' option, would I be able to bring up the menu again by using any key? Or it won't show up at all until I disable the option again?

Yes, this weekend the WW2 server were pretty barren. I am now more focused on the F/A-18 (I am finally getting proficient in a modern jet and I am really enjoying it!) but I wanted to do a couple of sorties in SoW with the 109 however, server was empty and I remembered that there's a bad bug going on so went back to the Hornet.

Is there any way to setup the SRS integration in a way that if I hold the PTT key first it waits for a command in Voice Attack, and if a command is not issued it changes to SRS? The way it works now, it does not change to SRS unless you issue a command.

I am eagerly waiting for the Jug, also can't wait for Mariana's map, F4U and AI Zero. With the Jug, Corsair and P-51 we have a good american setup for Pacific!

Since there’s apparently no official thread for this server I will ask here: Do you know if I can disable Easy Communications for me in this server? I have it off in DCS options but unfortunately I think that the server forces it on you.

Outside of it, I will pay attention in game next time.

First of all, thank you both for helping me! Now, let's try to solve this. EDIT: I'm blind, the solution was in front of my nose all the time. I've just had to enable the option "Extended command set" in VAICOM Preferences tab... THANKS BOTH! You mean, this option? I've tried both with the same result. Sure, here you can see an example with the simple "Inbound" command. DCS wasn't running but you can see that the command is detected and sends the input without any issue: Then with the command "Hornet Ball": The ATC option is enabled:

How does it work the Hornet Ball command? I've tried using it and it gets recognised, but Voice Attacke shows "awaiting additional input".

It worked! It is very easy to setup and the key binding and options are very nice. I have been playing with it and learning which voice commands do I have to give it, and adapting my English with Spanish accent to it. Any way to train each one of the voice commands within VA? So happy with this purchase. Happened to me as well. Perform the following steps: 1. Change the option in VAICOM. 2. Close Voice Attack and VAICOM. 3. Repair DCS and delete the two files that will show you as problematic. 4. Start again Voice Attack and VAICOM. 5. Start DCS. Hope it works!

However, I am trying to use the voice training in Windows but I have my Windows in Spanish so I guess it would be useless to do it. I have tried changing the voice recognition in Windows to English, but when I try to start the voice training a pop-up shows telling me that the speech recognition should be in the SE language as Windows. How can I circumvent this?

Hey guys! I installed VAICOM and VoiceAttack following the instructions and all looks fine. Both are in PRO version that I just purchased. However, with VoiceAttack and VAICOM installed, DCS would not start (it gets stuck at 10% at the initial loading screen). If I repair the DCS install, it finds two files named "Speech" which I guess are related to VAICOM. If I delete them, DCS works again but I guess VAICOM won't work. Do you have any clue on how to solve it?

You have several server from more quick action to more serious. My personal favourite one is Storm of War that portrays the Normandy invasion and following days using realistic missions and targets. There should be like 15-20 players there in GMT afternoons. Then you have Blue Flag Normandy, which more serious and need even more commitment as you have limited lives. The most popular one is LFDM, I don't know much about this one as I've rarely flown in it. And finally Burning Skies which is the most quick action server with mostly A/A engagements and some ground targets.

At least the K-4 has now tracers for the 30 mm, which is absolutely great. The 13 mm have less tracers, which is more realistic I think. Now, if the ammunition type has a different effect on the target I don't know but I guess that until the new DM is implemented we won't see much differences.

Do you achieve smooth performance in DCS with higher than 60 fps limiter? I will try limiting it to 120 hz as right now I have it at 60 hz.

Can't wait Hiro! Learned the Mig-21 recently and I can't wait to fly it in Alpenwolf's Cold War. I haven't been able to do it yet due to the radar FPS drops mainly.

That's true! Although it is possible to run from them even in that escenario as you turn better than them, of course if you spot them. I have been learning the P-51 lately and I might take it for a spin online soon.
