Luthier touches on this a little around 8:45. No detail about trees or curving the "world" but my guess is its still to early to tell. My take on it is they will get a base map up and let the map guys go at it with SDK, working with the team to "fix things or add to it" I like in the end he talks about next year addressing the B-17.

Yes the description.lua file is with it but I don't know if is it setup correctly. How would I check that? I just had the ah ha moment..at the bottom of the description.lua its named "black stallion" not USAF all black...duh it was here all along. I guess next time I will RTFDL! It can't be that hard..can it? Ok I have a P-51 skin I'd like to add to 1.2.6. USAF All black mustang. So no read me but I know to put it here: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\P-51D So I go into ME set it up click on load weapons and change skin..but its not listed! I check that yes it is in there but I still can't see it. I know I have missed something, I just don't know what. I have added A10C skins like that with no problem and they show up in the listing in ME. Anyone guess or know what I've missed with this skin? Thanks for any help.

This did the trick for me REPAIR: Enter your start programs / Eagle Dynamics / DCS World and click "Repair DCS World." From ENO's thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113279

I just got the same twice in a row..it loads up a mission them about 2 to 3 minutes into it It crashes with a runtime C++ error. Never did this before and nothing has changed between the last time I ran it. I can't find where to get the logs from, If you point me in the right direction I'll post it. I'm running 1.2.6 on a 64 bit rig.

Neuro is your Su-25t a clickable cockpit? Or is anyone's for that matter? Mine is not, I do have the yellow X for the mouse but can't move or switch anything in the cockpit! Maybe I messed something up? btw good to see a squaddie on here, now get on TS!

I think my problem was I held the stick back too long. If you notice, a squad mate pointed out the tail doesn't rise at all until I leave the ground. Then it pitches up very quickly. I have had a big problem keeping it going straight down the runway so I held the tail wheel locked for way too long and my AOA was high. Even with a few degrees of flaps I still would have stalled and pancaked it. On the bright side I didn't blow up and walked away!:thumbup:

Exploded I guess. This was just a quick mission. Some flaps may have helped! Pitch was set to full. The fun is learning this sim. :joystick:

First Time I got it going down the runway but pitched up real high and ah.."landed" suddenly :music_whistling: I am having fun with this, maybe I'll get it in the air someday!:thumbup:

Fixed, as it turns out I did have another log in at ed. :thumbup:

I have searched for this problem with no luck. so I'll ask here. I have A10 that I bought at a steam sale back when it was 1.1.1.1 Now I have added world, A10 and P51. On the manager screen I can see the P51 key but A10 says "no key" so I can't get online unless I disable A10. I did try a reinstall of A10 but no luck. Because I got it on steam I never made a user name on ED. until I bought p51 and got world. So how do I get world to see my A10 key?

I got my copies today,yeah the day after posting :) Air mail from the UK. Setting it up now,patching and learning.It is different the IL2,I cant see the prop spining :D

I ordered my copy of LOMAC and FC on Jan 25, got the ok emails and it says it was sent on the 26th..I'll give it a week or more before I start twiching.
