Yep, as Shu said come on over to the BSD. Even as a small group we can help, with real helicopter pilots to help train you to fly and its just fun when we all get together to fly.

I think Striker is right, if I pick Russian, ATC is in Russian. I'm not sure but I think there was a way to copy the English files to the others so it would all be English.

How about weekends for now? I can't speak for all the BSD pilots but I know a few that are available during the day on weekends for missions. Our normal start time is 1 am Zulu, or 9 pm EST. A little late for the Euro guys, I know. Weekend days (EST) might be the quick answer for now.

I would love to see the Gator someday. I doubt we will. The Shark is still one of my favorites to fly though.

We do, and we can help you with the KA-50 (or any chopper). English speaking on East coast time. Come over to the site and introduce yourself. We can set up a time to get together on Teamspeak and fly some training flights. We are a mix of virtual pilots and real world pilots, some active military pilots as well. At least two use the Rift. We fly a mix of all choppers. Most of our missions are co op hosted by one of the group at least once a week. AMD FM 8320 3.5 OC'ed to 4.0, R9270 dc2 , 16gig ram win 7..funny after I posted I did another re-start and tested again, its back up in the 20's so maybe just a freak thing..all's good now.:thumbup:

Almost the same as Die Hard, Ch fighterstick, pro throttle, throttle quadrant, and Saitek combat pro pedals. No curves at all and she works fine. But I can't say what works with FFB.

I use one of the axis on a CH throttle quad for it. Most of the time it is a "set it and forget it" throttle. So key or axis..works just fine.

Its \ then F1 then F6 for hold position. I found in flight I have to use right alt+\ to get the menu to come up.

I'm with Shu..go for it..for say 60 seconds then turn it back on. Shu PM me on the BSD forum if you want to try to run a mission tonight.
