  1. I don't find any case of 676 rounds anymore, either, so I guess all is fine! :)
  2. I'm sure I saw 676 in the hot start missions, but will look into it this evening and give you feedback! :)
  3. If I had OCD, it would now be held in check! :D Thanks for the info! :)
  4. Do you have 10308 TCP or TCP/UDP forwarded? Needs both.
  5. At 6.000 rpm, having a delta of 6 or 4 rounds not displayed is essentially worthless, though, to be honest. :D Out of curiosity I am wondering about that too, though.
  6. Yeah, that is all fine and dandy, but if you correctly set them in the Mission Editor, they are also on the kneeboards, which is fine for a human RIO :D
  7. This!! And so much this!! :D Seriously, no one needs to know he is going 320 or 335 KIAS, just remember the most important needle positions. That is most definitely visible w/o zoom. If you need to absolutely see details on any given gauge: lean in and maybe add a bit of zoom, done.
  8. Actually it is a bit more complex: IP, ST and EP programmed in Mission Editor are only ready on the go when starting hot or in the air. When starting from cold and dark, they have to be entered *in the mission*, either by Jester, a human RIO or swapping into the back. Please refer to this post from Super Grover: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3848552
  9. Now THAT is some helpful information, as a lot of guys (me included) were wondering about this in the last days. Thanks for clarifying that!
  10. Yes. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3847832&postcount=144
  11. I found that this happens when you accidentally click the landing gear handle on the ground, setting it to "emergency down". This disengages NWS and you can't turn it back on again.
  12. Yeah I know you can do that ingame, I prefer to preload IP etc. through the Mission Editor, though, and I THINK that was what HB was intending to do with it. That's what the Tomcat specific waypoint tab is for, after all :) So I think they should overwork the missions during early access.
  13. So, I don't own the PG map, but I casually checked the Caucasus reactor strike mission and no Tomcat-specific wayponts are set there. I suspect that to be the case in the Iranian mission, too and think that HB should fix the mission for release version and add IP, ST and EP. See my screenshot in the other thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3848180&postcount=14
  14. So, I don't own the PG map yet, so I couldn't check on the Iranian Reactor Strike mission, but the Caucasus "Trench Run Reactor Strike" mission has 3 waypoints set, yet NO Tomcat-specific IP or ST waypoints. It is thusly no bug, but a Mission that needs to be overworked with these specifics in mind. See screenshot. I highly to suspect that to be the case in the Iranian Mission, too. Either you enter IP, ST and EP through mark labels via Jester, enter them manually with coordinates or modify the mission. Maybe HB needs to modify the mission too, for the release version.
  15. It's almost as if this was early access ;) (no seriously, you're right of course - gonna take a look at the mission once I get home, perhaps it IS a genuine bug and needs addressing, or the mission needs fixing. Both stuff to report to HB :) )
  16. Good luck with that, I really kinda love all these limitations... constantly working on nice missions in my mind, too... if I find some time to build missions and actually go fly that sexy beast :D
  17. Well, look it up in the Mission Editor and see if you see IP and ST set up for the Tomcat flight (still in the office, gonna take a look later on, too). If they are defined, Jester should be able to select it and otherwise that may be a genuine bug. If they are not defined, then maybe it was an oversight and the mission itself needs a fixer-upper.
  18. That's because you can't set more than 3 Waypoints for the Tomcat to show in Mission Editor - it literally can only display 3 Waypoints. If you want the specific ST, IP, EP etc. points, you have to set them up seperately in Mission Editor. Please refer to the "DCS specific functions" section in the manual for that: http://www.heatblur.se/F-14Manual/dcs.html#f-14-waypoints-in-the-mission-editor
  19. Brilliant, looking forward to how it all unfolds! Keep up the good work! :)
  20. Thanks for clarifying that - I think there is just a great deal of misinformation around due to the whole system being worked upon. I was referring to this post of yours, thinking that auto-IFF on STT (which was still the way to it a few weeks ago - lock target, have it be IFF interrogated) is bugged and returning with the March, 27th OB patch: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3825412&postcount=11
  21. Hm, I restarted DCS and VA / VAICOM several times over the course of the evening, but so far to no avail. Will look into that!
  22. I know, I read that thread - I am just not convinced, that we actually should be able to.
