  1. After a few restarts it seems to be running w/o issue on my X56, can confirm though that the Warthog of my aforementioned buddy suffers the same problem that metzger has. It is entirely reproducable: as soon as VoiceAttack runs, starting up DCS afterwards messes up Warthog bindings (vaicom 2.5.9.4, VA 1.7.3)
  2. After shutting down VoiceAttack and repairing DCS, the Input Categories are back. Turning Voice Attack back on also damages the input categories again.
  3. Can confirm having problems - I now have strange problems, too: - shut down DCS & VoiceAttack - started VA as admin, updated vaicom to 2.5.9.4, shut down VA, restarted VA -> 2.5.9.4 confirmed - downloaded and installed AI RIO dll according to manual - started VA, activated AI RIO license, did NOT YET enable AI RIO extension - started DCS -> several Categories of Keybindings in F-14 module missing (e.g. "Stick", "Throttle"), see attached screenshot - shutting down VA and repairing DCS brings back categories
  4. So far he didn't buy the AIRIO plugin, that's why he didn't enable AIRIO in EX yet. What happened so far: - start VA - auto-update vaicom to 2.5.9.4 - started DCS for the first time -> all keybindings gone (yes, with 2.5.9.4 already) - shutdown DCS & VA, repair DCS, restart DCS - standard keybinds are back - shut down DCS - start VA with 2.5.9.4 - start DCS -> all keybindings gone So you say even without RIO addin you should enable AIRIO in Ex?
  5. So, a buddy of mine still loses all his keybinds as soon as he starts VoiceAttack with VAICOM 2.5.9.4 - any idea what to do? As soon as he deactivates VoiceAttack and repairs DCS / restores his binds all is back, so we can reproduce it atm. Is there a possibility to back up Vaicom settings for a possible reinstall? How do you actually go for a clean reinstall?
  6. Thanks for the RIO module, instantly bought it even before reading the manual, that said: you say that Jester Menu Wheel and your Plugin are mutually exclusive. Any chance that may be added (back?) in at a later date? I really like the Menu Wheel and would love to have it as an alternative / a backup when voice recognition fails. Thanks a lot! :)
  7. If you turn the Landing Gear lever, you are engaging emergency gear down. This depressurizes a nitrogen container to put out the landing gear in case of a hydraulics loss. Unfortunately NWS won't work afterwards and it can't be repaired on ground (yet), so you will have to restart. Better yet: don't touch the landing gear lever.
  8. He never, ever closed the canopy for us in assisted start, he's always asking me to do it. And I've done a lot of assisted startups. :D
  9. It's almost as if this still is a beta product in active development...
  10. To be honest: in all modules I own, the wingmen tend to go unnecessarily high on power when attempting to rejoin formation etc., usually reaching low fuel way before me. I always took that to be a core ED AI problem.
  11. You still have the master test switch set to "Inst". Turn it off. Doesn't have to do with alignment.
  12. And there you just counted the reasons why I'd prefer the D. Not saying I don't like the B, though :D
  13. I would say that is correct behaviour, 3&6 are the forward stations.
  14. No, when you trigger emergency landing gear release, it empties a compressed gas bottle, so not an easy reset. Maybe HB will add it to the repair option in the ground crew menu.
  15. Key mappings not yet complete, follow the relevant thread in the bug subforum for details: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=235229
  16. Borked tracks is a DCS core game problem, it happens in other modules too, albeit not as bad as in the F-14. Still: that's an ED / DCS thing to fix, I think.
  17. You are right, I phrased that badly - I should have written that it is indeed only used in landing. :)
  18. ATC is indeed only used in ACLS.
  19. I don't find any case of 676 rounds anymore, either, so I guess all is fine! :)
  20. I'm sure I saw 676 in the hot start missions, but will look into it this evening and give you feedback! :)
  21. If I had OCD, it would now be held in check! :D Thanks for the info! :)
  22. Do you have 10308 TCP or TCP/UDP forwarded? Needs both.
  23. Come on, that is really too easy! ;)
  24. At 6.000 rpm, having a delta of 6 or 4 rounds not displayed is essentially worthless, though, to be honest. :D Out of curiosity I am wondering about that too, though.
  25. Yeah, that is all fine and dandy, but if you correctly set them in the Mission Editor, they are also on the kneeboards, which is fine for a human RIO :D
