When you’re mapping controls, how do you find out which to map for secondary menus? If you’d be willing to share your Cougar MFD profiles, I would definitely be in your debt lol.

Right, but that’s indirect. I guess I should clarify: I don’t remember the last time there was an update showing progress on the F-15E specifically, even prior to that announcement.

Does anyone have a Buddy Fox F-18 profile you’d be willing to share? I bought this to use with the F-18 (it is an A-10C UFC, I know), and I am hoping that someone will be willing to share :)

Do you mean just mapping the Hornet buttons to the ones on the MFD OSBs, 1:1?

I apologize if there's another thread like this - if so, please provide a link and feel free to close this one - but I was wondering if someone has shared, or would be willing to share, their profiles for the Cougar MFDs and the DCS F/A-18C. I have my 3 MFDs, the Buddy Fox UFC, and (inbound) a DSD Race King, but being as I'm just jumping into the 18, I have no idea where to start in regard to what needs to be mapped where (for now, I'd be happy just to figure out the MFDs). Any help would be much appreciated :)

Not to be an ass, but why the faith in an untested product/brand? It's hard to imagine beating a VPC base/Thrustmaster F-18 stick combination. Am I missing something?

If ED could get the required documentation, I would definitely pay for it if it was an add-on (if it was unreasonable to expect it in the current F-16 purchase price).

An unfinished F-15E would be more depressing than no F-15E. Based on what folks are saying, I’m really starting to lose faith in this project, unless there is a joint effort between RAZBAM and one of the other DCS devs.

This is an absolute blast. It forced me to finally take the time to learn how to use the LANTIRN pod (albeit with the pilot mod).

Would be amazing if Heatblur took over the F-15E from RAZBAM, or they jointly developed it together...

Too bad a joint effort between Razbam and Heatblur (or another dev) likely wouldn’t happen...in the long run, such a joint effort with a strong F-15E release/follow through would only help them both.

Trying to do a mission in the adapted Jane's F-15 campaign for the Tomcat that suggests using LGBs against moving Iranian gun boats. I'm quite new to RIO in the F-14, and I can't seem to get the LANTIRN to use Point mode (despite having made sure it is properly bound to my inputs multiple times). Area works, but obviously that's not terribly useful against a moving target. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. PS: How do you use the LANTIRN's secondary and tertiary S4 hat functions?
