  1. You could try opening them up and spraying some contact cleaner into the motors that are hanging up...may unfreeze them. Or, these from amazon for repair... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G9TY13N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have enough to replace all motors in my seat....that is how behind the concept I am and....how addicted to flying with it I am as well.
  2. Quick question Miles. It looks like you are tracking the controllers from an addition on the headset....so That would make this all functional with any headset...lighthouse type or inside out tracking, correct? I ask because I may be moving away from Rift to something like the HP reverb in the future. Thanks
  3. What I would love is an HGU-68 helmet texture and get rid of the old style 80's HGU-33....
  4. my issue flying at night in vr with the rift is more about the fact that it looks like your looking through dirty lenses reflecting light back at you more than anything. The instrument scan is no issue especially with the design of the cat. I have to jack my gamma way do to counter the said lens affect.
  5. ^^^^^^^^^^ This guy....My favorite Brown Shoe that I never drank beer with!!!
  6. Hey Greekbull...how did you create the custom stickers for that Button Box? Or did you buy them? Thanks
  7. disregard my previous post... I see it has been installed as a separate program, so I could open the old version and duplicate. Thanks Again!
  8. Thanks so much for the FAST update for the tomcat support. Oddly I lost all my old settings on update....where are settings saved for the effect values....also, are the old ones possibly there. Thanks!!
  9. Hey Brun...nice work. Can you please link the pots you used to replace the encoders. pricing all this out to see if I want to tackle it. Thanks man!!
  10. Hey =Andre=, I am looking to get my hands on a few spare motors for my Jetseat. Love the seat and want to keep it running. Will the following motors be good to have on hand as spares? https://www.allelectronics.com/item/dcm-478/1.5-4.5-vdc-vibrating-motor/1.html Dimensions appear same as what are in the seat. Thanks!
  11. Two things key... 1 setup your throttle curves....search around here there are a few put together which make them more linear and realistic according to the vets 2 pop a bit of speed brake out and leave it out, this will add some drag and allow for much finer speed control above all relax and fly patiently
  12. Thanks Andre for that guidance. On Page 15 it seems the clue is printed, but it does not really work, as in, I never see a tool tip giving me the corresponding uwv file. This leads me to believe the profile info is stored elsewhere or it is interacting with dcs via some other way. From the manual ""To know corresponding uwv. file(s) for a particular effect place mouse pointer on its check box at SimShaker base module GUI and read a tooltip shown. Note: for inactive (gray) check boxes tooltips are unavailable, please feel free to ask me about corresponding .uwv files."" Maybe F4 can provide some guidance... Thanks
  13. Andre, I am trying to adjust the jetseat in sim shaker for aviators. I would like to change some of the locations of vibration for some of the effects. Thanks
  14. I see how I can make new ones, but I would like to tweak the existing ones and they are nowhere to be found. Can I not adjust them? Thanks
  15. Thanks F4, and awesome job on the software! ...next question is...how do I adjust/edit the UWV files for the app? As in, where are they? I would like to tweak the transducers used if possible. If seems all teh UWV editing direction is aimed at either the old version of the software or the wings program. Thanks!
  16. Just picked up a jetseat. So far, very happy with it and a perfect addon to vr. Other than supporting Andre by buying a license for Simshaker-wings, is there and an advantage to that product, vs Simshaker for Aviators? The free one seems to connect quite well to DCS and its relevant aircraft, well the ones relevant to me. I am in the process of tweaking the profile to my liking and will be playing with Andre's paid version this weekend. Andre, can you chime in here?
  17. The nose may pitch up in response to the input, especially when abrupt and large....and sure, you can bust out of on speed AOA, but the throttle is NOT used to adjust your pitch. It is used to control altitude (sink rate) as it does in any other aircraft, even a lowly Piper on final. The Hornet's FCS does not allow the Hornet to work with a different set of aerodynamic laws.
  18. Excellent video on getting onto the boat.
  19. Truly aggravating as hell. I step away for a week or two update game update graphics. Sam shite...and still no useful info of any kind from DCS. It is as if tehy assume we are all just morons with cobbled together PC's and no understanding of anything. Been Flight Simming since the 90's and frankly hoped DCS would save this hobby, and they just make it more frustrating than ever. All ambition and very little delivery. How about some actual support fellas instead of a community forum where no one with any real info from the Dev team ever has a thing to say.....
  20. Pages of posts on crashes and nadda for answers. Just the usual try this try that bs most of which is unrelated in any way. Pretty poor support from a vendor happy to take our money and so many who cannot join a mp server. Annoying, sad and wrong.

  22. It really is a sick joke that there are multiple posts like this and nada fooking answer that is even remotely coherent or targeted at a solution. A dozen, "try this..." "try that...".... really ED....this is the best you can do to support the fools that support you? Feels like the Falcon2 days for chrissake
