You don't have to install TARS in the servers. Seems counter intuitive, but you just need TARS in DCS and TS client. And don't change any ip in TARS, leave default settings.

Welcome, I think ppl is sooo overreacting for such a question... somebody has even voted him down lol, like if it was a personal attack or something (ohh excuse those corporation loyalists...) Early adopter's money will be always there so it's it's nice not to loose it! let those that can pay for it do it, with time it will lower and more pilots will join the fight. So if you're in a tough time (I am, can't spend even half of it), just wait for the price to go down (it will) and even search for offers here and there. There are other companies lowering their games entry price tag almost to zero, getting a ton of ppl and then spaming the market with extra packs at a price, I guess it all depends on many factors that only ED knows (tho, they can be wrong too!). So for DCS, just patience.

Got it working, had two "TARS" in the program list and got a bit messed.

Can't install this last version, it says "Unable to install because a newer version of this product is already installed". I deleted previous versions but doesen't work. Registry leftover information probably, wich keys should I delete?

Bullshit until you develop DCS ecosystem. I happily play with just a MS sidewinder joystick, and other with a Hotas Warthhog, pedals, trackir and 3 screens at 100fps. They have a HUGE advantadge and nobody moans about it because the important thing is we fly together seriously and everybody tries to stay within high realism parameters regardless of the simulator (except quakers in public servers, but those servers are a minority). Also, Ka-50 and FC2 is being played succesfully, before compatibility patch the ka-50 online community was on the brink of stalling if you remember. Yes, FC2 saved DCS:Ka-50 online community. "it's the community, stupid" and you're gonna break it if you don't have more DCS modules before putting FC2 to bed.

You sure have settings forced forced? seen the differences when changing texture quality? if not, create a profile pointing to dcs.exe (for a-10c, I think) or simulator.exe (ka-50). oh btw, if you're using Ricardo's mod then yes you'll see a difference regardless, because that mod goes beyond anything in terms of texture quality.

As Viper said, force quality or high quality texturing in graphics card. It workd for Ka-50 so I guess it will work for A-10c.

Public servers will always be public and open to quakers and not quakers, yes you'll see quakers in dcs:a-10c too. Now go out and check the myriad of squad forums and closed/non public servers and tell me they are different communities. You'r looking at the thing from a technical point of view and what do you think the product is done for, but it's mainly a community issue. Get more DCS modules in the market as replacement and only then you'll be safe putting FC2 to sleep. You're risking loosing community (going to other simulators and forgetting about ED).

Instead of setting the host to 1Mbit, that is too much if you have 520 and if you hit upload cap in a DSL you'r screwed because even download will suffer (dunno why, but down/up channels are not so independent). FC2 has the same engine as DCS:Ka-50 right now, TFCSE. DCS:A-10C just has an updated version of it.

Si estas bajando el torrent, que es lo mas rapido, presupongo que tienes los puertos correspondientes abiertos. No lo bajes ni por ftp ni por http porque ahora mismo esos estan saturados y van muy lentos.

No hace falta estar logeado para bajar el simu, tan solo ves a la zona de downloads de la web. Sobre la cuenta y los pagos, ojo porque juntaron la bdd de usuarios de BS y FC2 y si los habias comprado con emails distintos te creo dos cuentas adicionales (en el login mete un 1 o un 2 al final). Ves al subforo de problemas del foro para que te lo junten todo en una sola cuenta.
