No, my reading comprehansion is just fime, salty are we? There's plenty of mentions about the radar being malicious within this thread, if you've been following it. It's called observation, stop being so salty.
-
They don't, but it wasn't the last update by ED that broke the radar. The radar failed 7 days after, there's no connection at all.

Having been involved in, and privy to remuneration disputes, most of my colleagues involved couldn't wait to berate their employer and call them all sorts of things, citing the clauses in their contracts of when remuneration should take place, even within the first 7 days of late payment, by the time it reaches 30 days late, the barrack room lawyers again start citing legal action, and threaten to walk off the project. After 60 days of non payment, they aired their grievance with the client, who then asks "why" too. Some take their case to their lawyers, who then ask the same questions. After 90 days of non payment, and things don't look like improving, and savings have been eaten into, they terminated their contracts, forfeiting all pay, and put it down to unresolved and unreconcilable differences, which in turn made the company no contractually compliant due to the loss of 30% of the manpower, which in turn was a further breach of contract between the company and the client, who then terminated their contract, resulting in EVERYONE losing their jobs.. This all heppened in the Middle East, where there was no legal infrastructure in place where workers were protected. When it comes to salaries, everyone has to look after their own interests, and self preservation kicks in. The terms and conditions of your contract in places like the USA and UK, are legal binding documents, and you are protected by various work laws, in this case, AFNAV's colleagues would also be afforded the same protection

And if ED don't have access to the source code, why would you point to them as being the culprit for breaking the out of date .dll , of which the F15E wasn't updated? I don't buy into anything malicious, from either Razbam, or ED in this case. If ED don't have access to the source code, then it's going to be down to Razbam to fix, now, the way I see this, if RB's intentions are to resolve the situation, then as a gesture of good faith, and to appease the customers of their module, providing a hotfix for the outdated .dll would go a long way towards community reconciliation.

That's the word ! I forgot what they were called I should know as I make them too LOL

Nice deflection !! How many times are you going to ignore the question about whom their employer is, and what's their terms and conditions state about remuneration? You constantly keep ignoring the FACT that ED will not comment publically, despite the numerous times you've been told by the moderation team. FACT, you do not know the reason for payment being witheld, and neither do the alleged "people you trust" , either show their contracts seeing as you want accountability and visibility, it works both ways. I'm not the one needing a lawyer, it's your colleagues, and the parties involved in this dispute. Don't pretend you know the "bigger picture " either, because you don't, and neither do your alleged colleagues. I don't need a lwayer to know you're just pissed off because ED are not playing YOUR game.
-
And those worker bees, are they ED employees or Razbam employees? That tiny little bit of information is very significant , as the devil is in the details. You keep intimating that you've got some sort of knowledge, when you don't have any. One side isn't talking becuase they have been legally advised not to, what's so difficult to understand about that?
-
It was only the model that came with the ship, I binned it hahahaha

Who did they have a contract with, seeing as you know the facts ? You just stated that nobody knows all the facts unless all the cards are on the table, and clearly they're not, and never will be until the situation has been resolved. Just because you were an AF Officer, doesn't make you anymore a legal expert than myself, or any other forum member. You're basing your thesis on a hunch just because they're former and current USAF, of whom you don't know who they have a contract with ?? I'm not defending ED to the hilt, I'm constantly stating that NOBODY knows the facts, or the terms and conditions between RB and ED, in which to make an informed opinion. You on the other hand are defending Razbam to the hilt, despite being unable to provide proof of the contracts of said current and former USAF personnel that haven't been paid. Oh and being an officer doesn't mean Jack shyt, I know plenty of Officers who are complete shytbirds, liars and dishonest too, and a disgrace to their uniform, and units. So you want ED to lay their cards on the table, so put your money where your mouth is and show the terms and conditions of said Officers, and whom their employer was.

The last update had nothing to do with the F15E radar though, all was working fine after the last update. Feel free to be a moral hoover and be full of doom and gloom, I'm going to hold onto the hope that common sense and cool heads prevail, and we get a resolution that doesn't pit us against each other on the forums, but rather in the air in our favourite modules !!

At the time of the dispute and cesation of updates , the radar was working, as were all the other features advertised, nobody expected the .dll to expire on the 14th, and I don't believe Razabm would have know this was going to happen either ( it wouldn't help their situation if they did) You're talking about something that happened on Friday, and it's also the weekend, where on Friday/Saturday ED were aware, and were looking to find a solution, but you want them to put a disclaimer on the page immediately , when there's a workaround for the time being that works ? It's frustrating for sure, but patience clearly isn't a virtue for many, if it doesn't work as you want it, why not delete it, ask for a refund ? I'm pretty sure that even with the borked radar, there's still plenty of things to practice that don't need the radar, don't know about you, but I can still practice basics, god knows, I need to practice those !! I'm optimistic that all will be resolved, and things will get back to normal. On a different note, ED's last 2 updates borked missiles and weapons on many 3rd party modules such as currenthills , they're not quittiing or throwing their teddies out of prams, they're working on solutions, and being patient

"At the very least, something on the store page for a broken module that as of this point doesn't have specific operational features that are advertised. " It's not out of early access, so there's lots of things are are not operational and will be addedd according to the roadmap, is what I meant. lets see what it says on the F15E page shall we? The subject of this study level simulation is the F-15E Suite 4E+ software installed in F-15E's in around 2003. Key Features include: Advanced Flight Model that provides realistic performance and flight characteristics for the F-15E with P&W F100-PW-229 engines. --- Currently working as advertised Highly detailed external 3D model and textures for the most accurate F-15E currently available in any simulation software. --- Currently as advertised Highly detailed and accurate 6 DOF cockpit based on 3D scanned objects with high-resolution textures, specular and bump mapping, and mouse-interactive controls. -- as advertised Detailed and thorough simulation of the F-15E’s AN/APG-70 Radar. -- currently borked due to out of date dll Includes a free copy of Be Afraid of the Dark by Steve Davies about the inception, development, and operational history of the F-15E up to 2002. -- as advertised Training material includes: A set of interactive training missions covering all the most important instruments, weapons and aspects of using the aircraft. -- as advertised Full manual for the aircraft. -- as advertised A set of single missions for Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Multicrew. -- as advertised During Early Access: Additional interactive training missions covering the most important aircraft systems. -- as advertised Additional chapters for the DCS: F-15E flight manual -- as advertised A free story-driven campaign built by Baltic Dragon -- as advertised More Instant Action missions, Single Missions, and network missions. -- as advertised So which specific operational features are you talking about that were advertised, are not working ( I acknowledged the radar already) ??

A module that was released in early access, that after each update often breaks things as well as fixing them? That is the nature of early access, modules are not perfect from the beggining, all that's happening right now is that the updates on the module have been suspended for the time being, the radar freeze suddenly happening from the 13th June I can agree on, but the rest is part and parcel of purchasing an early access module, you're paying for something that's work in progress.

You've been told umpteen times, that ED will not make a statement whilst the dispute is ongoing. What you want, and what ED's lawyers have said are not compatible. You're flogging a dead horse.

As some of you mentioned the lack of Royal Navy vessels with DCS world, and I posted a picture of a Type 42 batch 3 destroyer within the Admirals thread. I wasn't planning on releasing, but decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a go. The Type 42 Btch 3 ( extended hull) will come with : Sea- Dart surface to air missile sysytem 2 x Phalanx CIWS 2 x 20mm Oerlikon 1 x Mk8 4.5 " Deck gun 4 vessels of the batch 3's will be available HMS Edinburgh HMS Manchester HMS York HMS Gloucester There's She can support Helo's up to the size of Merlins. There's a basic damage model, so she can take damage and can sink. Beldin has been working on the lua, as there was an issue with the missiles not launching, and the scale of the seperate sea dart on the launcher wrong. Textures are not the best, they were fine for me for what I was using her for ( eye candy) The attached screens may have different Ships numbers so disregard. I will look to release once ED fix the coding for the missiles

ADMIRAL189'S CORNER - INCOMING SHIP MODELS
Oban replied to Admiral189's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
I will create a seperate thread for this soon. -
I never stated they hadn't been paid for 5 plus years, I said the development took 5+ years, there's a difference. Once again, the payment of Razbam employees and subcontractors is a Razbam issue, not an ED one, their terms and conditions of employement were not written and drawn up by ED. Again, I asked why none of the employees went public about not getting paid by their employee, the same as what RZ did when he stated ED has withheld funds ? I asked why none of the RB emloyees didn't seek their own legal advice if they claimed they have been working for free for several months, were they still receiving a salary as per their terms and conditions between employer and employee. There was no evidence presented that employees salaries were tied to payments from clients/3rd parties. That's not spin, it's asking valid questions on why would you continue to work for several months, without seeking personal legal advice as to your rights?
-
I believe that was from claims from people linked to and within Razbam, hence the " by all accounts", now by all accounts does not make that gospel, or factual. What's not in dispute is the claims by RZ/RB that they're owed a 7 figure remuneration, notice I said claims, as no evidence was presented, no legal documents, just a frustrated vent that started the whole shyt show off. Like I have said, not one single person here knows the terms and conditions, unless we're all privy to those, then we can only speculate as to why ED has witheld payment for a considerable time.
-
How about this Instead of the slanging match that unfolded ? DISCLAIMER: "Dear Customers, after seeking legal advice due to situation outwith our control, we have been advised to suspend all activity in the updating of our products until further notice. We deeply regret having to take this action, and are hopeful that the matter can be resolved as quickly as possible " Yours sincerley Ron Zambrano CEO Razbam LLC That would have put the ball in their court, there would have been no finger pointing, no hearsay, no speculation, no public spat. And their lawyers would have dealt with their grievance. Not all the lawyers posting here in the court of public opinion. You only know what you think you know.
-
Oh but it's all do do with the F15E, that's the module that RB was awaiting payment for, all of the other modules are several years old. Again, you're only looking at this from your persepctive, if there's a breach of contract, and under the terms and conditions, there's more than likely a clause that states you can withold payment, it's protecting your business. You obviously don't work in a management capacity, or at corporate level where you deal with the writing of contracts, terms and conditions etc. What you would do, and what coprorate managers and legal representatives do are poles apart, based on tecnical and legal experience, that's their roles, they have the knowledge, you don't. You probaly also think you're a pilot because you fly said Modules too. !! Leave the experts to hash this out, it's what they get paid the big bucks for, and they will have all the evidence as to whom is right and wrong in this case
-
Except you're missing several critical points. You do not know the terms and conditions of the finance agreement between both parties. You don't know any terms and conditions or the clauses that may or may not have been placed within the working contract. Did RB pursue the outstanding funds through legal channels to begin with, such as initial remiders, final reminders, threat of legal action, (confirming that they are in breach of contract with your lawyer), having your lawyer contact their legal team, with the threat of legal action for fee's due? In this case, there's no indication of the steps taken between A-Z ( Z being Ron Zambrano going public). There's zero evidence presented that all the steps between A-Z were exhausted, and I highly dount that RB's lawyer would have said , you've nothing to lose here Ron, go public and cause a shyt storm. Factual evidence of this will all have to be presented now through the legal channels. As for ED, there's a claim of breach of contract on RB's behlaf, of which nobody here is privy to There's claims of a breach of IP rights ( IIRC that the base model for the F15E was ED's to begin with, and RB developed and tweaked it to their criteria) Nobody here knows the full story between both parties, so its all pure speculation as to who is right and who is wrong.

Fantastic !!

RB employees and sub-contractors will have terms and conditions as to which theur remuneration is set, I don't believe for one minute any of their employees/sub-contractors were on a zero hours contract. ED's terms and conditions for RB for the SE by all accouints was that they'd receive remuneration for services complete upon completion of the SE ( it's not complete, it's in early access) The development time for the F15E was several years, 5+ for development. So the Remuneration would have been more along the lines of a productivity bonus. There's not a chance that any employee or sub-contractor on the F15E development team were not receiving a salary from RB for the duration of the development, on the premise that they'd all get paid at the end of the project. The payment of salaries would be down to RB, and not ED. Non payment of RB employees would be an internal issue between RB and their employees, and not related to ED in any shape or form. The payment of Bonus's for performance related pay would be dependent on the payment that would have been expecting from ED, which the payment from ED is more than likely part of the teams bonus scheme. Now, none of the RB employees or Sub contractors have offered up their employement terms and conditions for public scrutiny to show how and when they were to be paid on a monthly basis, nobody works on an annual one payment per year, unless it's part of their contract. I don't know about anyone else, but if I worked for a company, busting my balls, and after the 1st month they said " sorry, can't pay you until the client pays us" then you'd be like " WTF, I have a contract, and you've not honoured that, I want paid" but the Finance department say "don't worry, next month for sure" Then you carry on working your ass off, as you don't want to leave because you will lose that salary owed. Then the following month, still no salary received, and the same story " sorry, we can't pay you, client still hasn't paid us" , and the preise is that next month..so you keep going? Are we supposed to believe that the development team and RB employees went without salary for 6+ months, without any of them seeking their own legal advice ? So the poster is right, why would any potential new employee work for a company that's not paid their employess and sub contractors for several months, I sure wouldn't , would you?
-
Oh if only life was that simple !! If you invoiced me for work completed, but I found out that you did something illegal that put my business at risk, and I refused to honour that invoice, due to this, then good luck trying to get me to pay you without going through a lawyer.
