I'm not talking about the gold or transparent canopy, or the reflections, I'm talking about the mask/shader/haze/glare effect that gets applied to the inside of the F-16 canopy and makes the entire world look glazed over. Any idea where I can nuke that in the lua? It's not so bad in flat screen but in VR it feels like I've got vaseline over the lenses.

Heck even 1399 GBP 3090 list price is pushing 1850 USD. That's a spicy meat-a-ball. I think the 3080 is the real sweet spot for cost to performance. Judging by the numbers it's still a decent upgrade over the 2080ti.

As people have said, they're the same, just at different scales. 1.5 PD is not the same as 150% in steam. TBH I find 150% in steam to be a nice balance of performance and clarity with my reverb.

Pretty much everything you need to do is on the kneeboards. Fly the waypoints in formation on Cajun's right wing, at the appropriate altitudes/speed and times (push 2200). Drop your four JDAMs on the target coordinates, you'll have plenty of time waiting on the deck to get them all entered into the UFC. Make sure to hit the tanker on the way back to the boat, even if you only take 1000lbs. The campaign seems to really want you to even though it gives you the option not to (I think it's just a little buggy but just to be safe, hit the tanker).

S-3B bloodhound's left engine has the decal reversed. E-2C livery is not being used as far as I can tell. Every E-2 in the campaign has been sporting the Carl Vinson livery. Putting the /e-2c files in to /e-2c/knight allowed me to use it in game so I think it's just a folder structure issue.

Big difference between launch MSRP and board partner custom pricing. Expect $200+ for custom cards to start. This is not splitting hairs, $1400 is the EXPECTED MSRP for what we think might be the FE. So then $1600 for custom cards. $1800 for AIO, $2000 for high end custom/watercooled. Pushes the card well into the ridiculous territory. I'll wait and see what big navi brings to the table.

I did land yes. I attached the debrief in case it helps explain what happened. Didn't refuel because the carrier was 30 miles away and I was above 5000. debrief.log

My loadout for Mission 12 was 5 AIM-120Cs and 1 AIM-120B, in addition to the bags and AIM-9s. Just a little odd to have the 1 random B on the right cheek station. I was perhaps a little over zealous with missile employment and was winchester but Knight just asked me for my fuel state. I reported Joker and Knight proceeded as if I was going to be tasked with interception of the F-14As however that problem cleared itself up since they just turned and ran. Since my wingman only had two AIM-9s left I was just expecting Knight to tell us to RTB but he was about ready to send us in until the F-14s turned tail. Also the script reported grandslam with zero hits on rainforest/downed all SU-24s and two MIG-29s, score was 330 but mission result was 50? The result was just a little confusing.

I somehow doubt fixing all the cockpit knob axis bugs and button binding bugs and label bugs and buttons doing the WRONG THING bugs that are ALL OVER the AV8B cockpit would suddenly stop working after ED released a patch. Let's not pretend that there aren't things they could be working or showing progress on for these modules that would in no way be impacted by changes made to the DCS engine by ED. The AV8B is the definition of minimum viable product. Everything mostly works enough to get it out the door but beyond that you're on your own. There's no polish or attention to any detail to it at all.

I see they still have those CRT buttons instead of CTR for the center jett select, hope that's just a pre-production issue.

Put the axes in around line 180 and the new buttons in the keycommands section above that. If you're not comfortable editing lua, you can just replace your joystick\default.lua with the one I attached to this post. Remember to back up any files in case you make a mistake. default.lua

It won't even move if you don't take it off, and I checked the p-break before posting. I was rolling around it was just... sticky. Maybe the brake axis was partially engaged on my pedals, I dunno. It was weird. It's fine now.

Some interesting design choices made there. Curious to see the final result/price point. Betting on not cheap.
