  1. You can fly on servers that have online stats... and not worry about your "session score". I believe the positives outweigh the negatives of the current implementation. Being able to rearm without exiting the world is vital to immersion/realism of the mission... if a striker puts the airfield out of order by bombing the runway and all you do is exit and reenter - ruins it. And online statistics engines can more than cover the checking your stats addiction... and most of them provide a lot more detailed statistics than what the in-game option presents.
  2. Да, конечно это не влияет на управление и в целом на полёт. И действительно если не акцентировать внимание то вовсе не заметно. Просто если искать минусы Вартога то ИМХО это один из них... Пилотажным группам этот момент может коробить многое например, знаю Беркуты отказались от Вартогов.. но при этом Thunderbirds летают на них.
  3. При разбеге когда пытаешься плавно поднять переднюю стойку до 10 градусов тангажа... не замечаешь ничего странного? Попробуй одним или двумя пальцами на себя как можно плавно РУС потянуть... не двигается своего-рода скачками?
  4. На западных ветках форума многие жалуются на эффект sticktion на Вартоге из за того что пружина создаёт трение на четырёх стержнях по которым ходит цилиндр внутри джойстика. Одно из решений это убрать основную пружину. У меня у самого Вартог удлинён, но даже с удлинённым РУСом иногда при попытке плавными движениями двигать РУС замечается эффект "sticktion" - передвижение скачками... залипание.
  5. Вопрос: А есть ли возможность у обычного игрока создавать "треки-обучалки" с использованием подсвета на что нажимать по аналогу А-10С?

No. Out of all the people, I would expect you to never use a phrase such as "by extension", not to mention in that same sentance you, yourself, say different aircraft have different FCS. Anyways, the SU-27S allows for assymetric loadouts. The disbalance limit is 450kg. Even different type of missiles can be deployed on symmetric stations. For example: R-27ER on one R-27R on the opposing.

  12. Indeed, I would much rather make a trip back to the base than have to deal with another loss. This is a combat simulator not an economic simulator... but even if it was - a loss of an airframe and/or the pilot is $$$ compared to $ of flares. Hell, they dispense flares at airshows. :) Also, have to consider that if you are lucky enough to notice a launch, most likely it will not be just one. So I try to create a cloud of flares, nose up - 180 - convert altitude for speed... and run to cover.
  13. I use 442, this is the same as the on-demand (button on the throttle) dispenser on the SU-25.

  17. Kinect for Xbox has been out on the market for awhile now... and it goes for $130-150, if Microsoft bundles it with a game/software I bet the price will be within the $150-200 mark. The hardware itself is not expensive. Edit: Keep in mind... TIR5 goes for what... $170 or so?
  18. Indeed, the Kinect SDK is quite promising... and the hardware aspect of it (which I am sure will improve over time) will provide ample resolution... imagine 3D models of pilots mimicking your every move.

  20. Been waiting for it since last year when first "rumors" were being discussed. Kinect will most definitely... over time... prove to be far more versatile and capable than TrackIR. Think about reaching out with your hand to actuate switches in the "DCS" cockpit, or using your hands rather than the mouse to operate your PC. All of these features are a possibility with Kinect.   23. Indeed. Missiles are either not effective enough and need to be buffed even more. Or weapon control systems MUST be dealt with. How "IRL" is it when a bandit with both engines in flames, spiraling out of the sky is spamming IR/ARH missiles in every direction? In FC1.12 we had the great LRM mod that assured NO WCS functionality after major damage... in FC2 that is gone. With the tweaked missile engine (proximity hits and lag) it is more common now to be shot down by a "falling wreck" because you write it off as a splash rather than an aircraft. Adding to my list of bugs: 8. SARH performance vs rear hemisphere. Firing Rs/ERs and AIM-7s is wasteful when the bandit is extending from you, even IF you are within the launch parameters and even IF the bandit is not chaffing.
