  1. Why don't you use it in 72hz and try to keep the 72fps constant?
  2. Pico's Streaming assistant 9.4.7.1 has asw option. Also has a sharpening option to get a better definition image
  3. I'll try it later and tell you
  4. But you need not only usb-c cable. it't must be usb 3.0 and charge cable usualy is 2.0
  5. Well, that's a way of saying 90%. there's enough terrain in hd to try. On the other hand, several modules do not have a 15-day trial and are purchased the same. Like sudatlantic, mirage f1 or mb339. In addition, for many years nothing could be proven and no one died in the attempt.
  6. Well, you have the remaining 90% of the map in high resolution to test if it works or not...
  7. That was not my image, it was to use it as an example. I had quest 2 for two years and for a month now I have pico 4. In the two years, disabling asw never persisted. Yes they did the data that if they write to the windows registry
  8. Great choice!
  9. From service to oculus link the changes are temporal. Oculus link section is permanent and change registry entries
  10. ED priorities list: .... .... .... .... 12561 - bf-109 G6 .... ....
  11. You can change it in real time: Control + 1, 2, 3, 4.
  12. https://github.com/alvr-org/ALVR/wiki/ALVR-wired-setup-(ALVR-over-USB) Usb tethering does not work with ALVR. With the batch script is 100% stable
  13. Well, technically 1.5 doesn't exist. it is still a way of identifying it. in the installation you see 1944 or 2.0
  14. Yes, and if no one belives me, get the free trial of Normandy 2.0 and fly over London or Paris
  15. When you start trial version of normandy 2.0, you get 15 days of normandy 1.5. not the full resolution normandy 2.0
  16. No, cause the thread is about trial version
  17. Yes, but London and Paris in low resolution
  18. Yes, but in the last update, the streaming assistant incorporated a sharpen option and now it's look better. I personally use alvr because it has all the settings and I use it via usb. It is more stable and being next to the PC I don't need Wi-Fi. virtual desktop is very good, but it can't really be used over usb in a simple way
  19. No, it is not necessary to use virtual desktop. It can be streamed with pico streaming assistant or with alvr. both by wifi or usb and both for free. Alvr has more configuration options but is more complicated
  20. Yes, I suffer this problem also in VR. Over London in MT it was 28-29 fps and everywhere else 72fps. When using SP, over London it was at 65. Disabling traffic, anywhere it doesn't drop below 72 fps on MT
  21. Free trial include new 2.0 or the "new" 1944?
  22. But i'm using usb connection so battery keep a cuple of hours and with more bitrate the compression is less visible. From default settings of ALVR i'd change: resolution 2144x2144 (or 2592x2592) framerate 72hz bitrate constant 150mbps codec hvec color correction: sharpening 0.50 protocol tcp On pico4 headset: The most crazy setting: on lab: battery save (it's make all more clear because i think it's focused pixel density in the middle) 72hz vs 90hz; 72 i'd percibe is less blurry on wifi maybe 80-90 mbps will work
