  1. Any news about the fix, guys? I was wondering to get DCS Mustang in the summer sale so I just want to know if we´ll have to wait until DCS 1.2.5.
  2. Yep, our torment. At least for us, Sidewinder FF users.
  3. Hope that this time they release the awaited fix for Sidewinder FF users.:music_whistling:
  4. Next incarnation - FPS Drops for Sidewinder users now fixed. Yeeees:joystick:
  5. Extremely fair enough. Only a dupe to pact with this.
  6. But c0ff, with the next patch we´ll be able to play without the FPS drops and the lost of the joystick centralization? (the joystick goes completely limp after shutting down DCS). If we have an option to shut it down the FB without loose the centralization, it´s good for me, at least I´ll be able to play DCS once again. Thanks for the news, looking forward for the new patch, and one more time, thanks for all the efforts.
  7. I like to use for FC3 and for IL-2 (46 and Clod) the Charvel´s settings. http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/04-community/community-profiles.html Click Save As to download the file:thumbup:
  8. Thanks for the efforts, c0ff. I really appreciate it.:)
  9. Nothing for Sidewinder FF2 users? Thanks for the "good" support, ED!

  11. Dunno if it´s a old thing here, but just in case... http://www.navalaviationmuseum.org/explore/exhibits-and-collections/cockpit-panoramas
  12. Guys, I was doing some tests here and I found something odd. I made a backup of my controls and graphics settings(Saved Games - DCS - Config - Input) and started DCS for a Quick Mission with the Su-33. I didn´t set anything, only the same graphics settings, the axis and FF settings are from the game. The Su-33 seems to be not affected for the FPS drops, when in flight over the sea, only when I started to flight above the cities, obviously my FPS drops from 50 to 45/40 but it was a very smoothly to fly with this FPS, but then, I picked the A10A on the Quick Mission but the FPS drops started when I made a hard turn after the FF turned it on. Try yourself and give your feedback to ED, let´s help them to solve this problem for us.
  13. Well, Sidewinder FF2 users will still be on the ground for a while. Sad.:(
  14. Apart of my another FPS drop problem with my Sidewinder FF2, I noticed as well a framerate drop after the new version (fresh installation). Before 1.2.4 60-50, now 45-35. I had to lock my FPS to 30 to have a reasonable gameplay.
  15. Thats true, if we can have a fix for this right now it would be awesome. I can use my FF2 on games that dosen´t support force feedback without loose the "return to center". I tried that force feedback program (64 bit version) but I have to restart the game all the time and this is a pain.
  16. Well, looking for some old topics of Flamming Cliffs 2, it seems that people were not affected with this problem, the game runs fine without a single FPS drop when using the Microsoft Force Feedback 2 joystick. And other version of DCS World also runs pretty fine. The only thing that "fixed" the problem was lock the FPS to 30 but I have a good computer and it´s not fair to play at 30 FPS because I always played DCS Series at 50-60 FPS. What we have to do is to not purchase any other DCS product until they give us a solution or a response.
  17. Well, no fixes for us, Microsoft Sidewinder FF2 users. Remains the same problem with the new update. I think that I will have to use my old Precision Pro 2 with I want to enjoy the new features.:music_whistling: "Thanks, ED"
  18. Thanks for the info, Viper:thumbup: Damn, I promised to my girl that we would play tennis all the holiday. I have to get a cold as a excuse for staying at home to fly the Huey. :megalol: Thanks ED!!!
  19. Guys, I want to make a fresh install this time, is there any way to make a copy of all my command settings? I really dont want to set my 50+ buttons once again for my DCS modules. Thanks in advance.
  20. I hope to play with my Microsoft Sidewinder FF2. I don't want to fly my Huey with severe FPS drops when the FF effect is on. I understand the FPS drops with the cluster bombs but me and other SidewinderFF2 users can´t deal with this issue anymore.
  21. Here in Brazil, we call the Hueys as BigFrog (Sapão in PortugueseBR), there are many roles for them in Brazil Air Force but now they use are using the Mi-35 Hind for CAS and commandos transport. Here a picture of one of the many configurations that the Army does. The old paint scheme Nowadays, the BigFrog´s are been replaced by the UH-60 BlackHawks, we donate some Hueys to the Paraguay Army.
  22. Zilla, our game works fine when we disable the FF setting, its just when this option is on in the game that the FPS drops. If I use my Precision Pro 2 the problem gone too. Got it?
  23. Well, we don´t have this kind of problem in any other simulation games. My MSFF2 works perfectly with many others games like Il-2 CoD, Il-2 46 and Strike Fighters Series.
  24. And the Force Feedback FPS drops for Sidewinder FF2 users? It was fixed for the 1.2.4?
  25. Hope not, the must fix this NOW or we will be stuck forever, I don´t have any plans to buy another joystick so soon.
