Can you get 144FPS with your graphics card? Probably not. I use a LG OLED tv with G-Sync to my 3080TI so that I can run 50FPS smoothly

I have a 4k display, which looks great when you are flying, but makes the size of the icons and text un-readable in the mission editor. Windows has the option to scale text which I have at 250%. Is there a way to do this to the mission editor? Thank you!

In the startup procedure you are supposed to move the nozzle to 10-30 degrees to avoid cooking the flaps, but do if after the engine is fully started or it will inhibit engine start!

Is there a trick to getting the planes to land reliably? I have tried giving them baby step waypoints to get them on glide slope and speed but as soon as they try to land they often do a big wing wobble and then turn off and go around. Also I noticed that the taxi/landing iight lights up the airplane from inside. Is there a fix yet for this?

I don't think this is a RAZBAM problem, all of the planes are doing this for me since a few updates ago.

I don't get any errors, its just like its not there.... Same happened for CAM and MAM. I tried removing, launching the game, closing, putting it back fresh, and launching with no dice. I will try a repair and then re-install next.

This mod stopped loading for me after the latest OB update. Any ideas to try?

I noticed that if I am in a dive steeper than ~20 degrees the gun will not fire, this used to not be the case. Don't know if this is a feature or a bug. If it's a feature, do you know how to disable it? I would give you a track, but the replay accuracy is so bad that the bird never makes it off the Tarawa Thanks

I figured it out! I was running an older revision graphics driver (better FPS!) but apparently it is no longer compatible with 20H2. If I download the latest driver from AMD it works fine. I have a Vega64 and sadly the best driver for it was in 2019. Anyways, I am back up and running just short a few FPS. This is definitely not a DCS issue, definitely a windows driver compatibility thing. Thanks for the help.

Wow, I reinstalled windows clean and same behavior! It is running but this is all I see:

DCS won't launch after this update, I tried uninstalling the update and that didn't fix it, I tried repairing DCS and that didn't fix it. Going to reinstall the OS now. Hope I can save you some heartache!

Thanks that is very helpful! Good point on the connector, I think I have the crimp at work and can just order the contacts and connector. I think I will just go ahead and order it. Looks like there will be plenty of space, since it's threaded I can make an aluminum spacer that I can fix inside the stick and then secure the switch with a jam nut. I am not a huge fan of the shape of the CMS button anyways, so I kinda want to try this style. If I change my mind I will figure out a way to get it off I will post up some pictures when I get the parts

Thanks for the information DeadMeat. I have been going back and forth on this, and I think I probably am going to go ahead and put the OTTO unit in. It's still the cheapest option vs buying a new stick, and it sounds like if you want a really nice stick this is kind of the inevitable path (I can just do piece by piece as they break down). I am an engineer with about 20 years of experience in prototype fabrication (machining, soldering, etc.) so the modification part doesn't scare me. I already modified the base to try and improve the stiction so warranty isn't an option. I saw they have this unit on Mouser: https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/603/TK-Mini-Trim_Catalog_Page-1769763.pdf That's the cheapest 5 way I could find, I guess I will have to crack open the stick and make sure it's going to fit since it's bigger than the one you used.

My CMS switch is on it's way down the drain on my warthog stick... The OTTO replacement costs $85, that kind of money I would rather put towards a new stick! Are the VIRPIL or VKB switches any better than Thrustmaster?
