  1. although I can understand and support the decision for a unified version strategy, I think that the previous update frequency (for OpenBeta branch) will probably be significantly reduced as a result. I just liked to always try and test the latest changes as soon as they were ready for public. but certainly a welcome change for the majority, so I'm excited about future development
  2. as they are still walking all the time, the cat 3 and 4 crews aren't fast enough to clear deck for AI aircraft in the groove
  3. it's probably your resolution setting, you are playing on 3840x2160 and therefore notice the much lower resolution of displays/mirrors (1024 px) @draconus for example uses 1080p, that makes the difference between 3D and mirrors much less noticeable
  4. we finally need a keybinding to pause or (de)activate any connected headtracker
  5. the only way to get POV controls back while Tobii is connected and/or running, is to disable the tobii eye tracker in the DCS controls (shown below) this way you can keep the tobii applications running in background and don't need to unplug the device

  7. Two issues that are related to the F-14: On the supercarrier the plane director(s) doesn't give the hand signal for unfolding wings, just a very minor bug. After taxiing and stopping, they skip to the launch bar signal. It's only in the TTI mission, verified with a custom made mission and there it works as intended. Another one is that we have two AWACS frequencies for the E-3A "Overlord 1-1", at least in the JESTER menu and kneeboard page (see attached file).

  9. Just a minor bug I've noticed recently: Rescue Helo and Tanker plane from carrier (airboss) doesn't show on F10 map. Don't know if it's something airboss-related. The earlier reported issue with carrier groups won't open fire when setting "carrier_groups_hold_fire" to false is still there on caucasus mission
  10. any official updates regarding this one? still an issue with several missing markings on cockpit instruments (luckily, got that previous files from @Tanuki44 as a temporary workaround)
  11. as the Pilot you can access the RIO mirror adjustment, noticed this one a few minutes ago when looking back to check my ejection seat

  13. @Maverick87Shaka is there any documentation about that "no-rendering" mode? can't find how to run DCS with that on
  14. is there a way to use the DCS main folder for the server installation, mainly for saving hard disk space? so the dedicated server wouldn't require a second installation with all of the files inside
  15. The first launch will download and update to current DCS version. After that you can choose from the main menu which modules (aircraft, terrain etc.) you want to install

IF it is proven to be a FC3 only feature from the beginning, they could move the setting to Special > FC3, just to clarify it's not intended to work with other than these aircraft. as I can remember the bird strike slider was already there back in 2017-2018 when I started with DCS, featuring the old UI.
  17. maybe the birds setting aren't implemented as a core feature but as a FC3 related feature and won't work with other aircraft?
  18. Another thing, it seems that you cannot access Super Carrier Deck Layout via F10 Menu when selecting cold_war in the era settings trigger. I also noticed that there will be no RAT auto spawning on carrier (except the carrier rescue heli and tanker) with the cold_war activated. On modern era everything works fine.
  19. Is it intended that changing the trigger setting carrier_groups_hold_fire doesn't do anything unless you also switch the ROE of that carrier group to WEAPON FREE?
  20. Bug: The "control panel for the asymmetric thrust limiter system and the control mode of each engine" as it is called in the F-14 manual is not illuminated.   21. when enemies are within visual range it will open this menu as the contextual menu, just like pressing A two times and then pressing 3

  23. Well, it seems that the OB update some kind of fixed my problem. I can confirm that in all of my recent tests on different maps/locations the launchers fired all desired missiles. Anyways thank you very much for looking into this.
  24. Hello again, I did create a very simple "mission" just including two SCUD launchers and a GAME MASTER slot to occupy. Weird thing now is, that Ground-1 with a target about 60 percent of max range will not engage, but the Ground-2 prepares and launches its scud missile with a target at about 95 % of max range. Tested this with swapped targets so Ground-1 would engage the identical point that Ground-2 was firing at just before, but still nothing. Is there maybe a bug with the first placed scud unit overall, Ground-1 in this case? SCUD-test.miz
