The fps increase more than 2x fps i had with the HD6950. I have turned alot of settings up and still have a good fps. For me, this upgrade, is worth the money.

Thanks PeterP, that did solve the issue.

Just got the FC3 installed and encounter a "problem" in the F15. I am using TrackIR 4 with all the DCS:World modules without any problem. Even if i fly the Mig29 in FC3 i dont have the following problem. In the F15, i can turn the view horizontally. The z-axis (zooming in also works). But when i try to look up or down it doesn't respond. It looks like something is keeping my view centered. What can i do, to solve this issue?

A friend told me once to try with my canopy open and that worked at that moment. Maybe it will work for you.

updating to GTX680 from 6970 any tips?
Pteradon replied to spikenet's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yesterday i went from an 6950 2GB to an EVGA GeForce GTX 670 4GB Superclocked+ w/Backplate and did a quick testrun with DCS-A10. I got twice the fps now. I did use the uninstaller from AMD itself, reboot the computer and installed the latest Nvidia driver 314.07 , without any problems. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us -
Thanks for the info Sorin. I was looking for for a videocard whom can handle a multi-monitor setup. I guess i'm a little addicted to DCS:pilotfly:

Thanks for those replies. I'm looking forward for flying with the A10 in combination with the GTX670.

(i apologize for my english, it is not my native language.) I have a question. I'm running the DCS A-10 with a i7 2600 at 4430 Mhz and a Asus EAH6950 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5. Today i got the opportunity to buy a EVGA GTX670 4GB SC/backplate for 365 euro (481,37 us dollar). I've tried to find some answers on this forum and saw also that there are some problems with Nvidia and DCS World?? If i buy the GTX670, will it be a good upgrade for that price?

Hello, i'm thinking about buying an Ocz Agility 3. Atm moment im using two WD raptors harddisks, one for the OS and the other for games. But everytime i see a topic about SSD, the people are always talking about two SSD, one for the OS and the other example Dcs:A10 and the pagefile. What i like to ask is, is it really necesary to have two SSD?

When you taxi to the runway, you have to stop almost against the runway, after that ask the clearance for take off.

Hi, Im really enjoy DCS: A-10 but i like to have some more fps / smooth gameplay. The best upgrade would be i7 system, but i would be to expensive for me right now. Therefore i'm thinking to buy a quad core cpu, the Q9650. But i'm not sure if this will preform any better in DCS: A-10 then the Duo E8600 cpu (oc'ed to 4.0 Ghz) Would it be a waste of money or will it run DCS:A-10 better then the cpu im using now?

I was also curious about the performance if i went from a dual to a quad. After reading this topic, i will stick with the computer i have now.
