  1. The VR headset never seams to be Given. I could of missed it so Forgive me if I did Just make sure you have the Required Specification to power it to stop Lag and Stutter. I'm Sure you Do and did. Best of luck to all. The Pimax Crystal Super requires a high-end PC to operate optimally. Specifically, a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 or RTX 5090 is recommended for the best experience. A high-end Intel Core i9 12th 13th or 14th Generation or AMD Ryzen 9 processor, Someone said a R7 7700X was the Lowest But I did not find that. Along with 16GB or more of RAM, is also necessary to handle the demanding processing requirements.
  2. Learning to Hover is a hard lesson to master in the Huey. It just takes time. I know people do use the twist grip and have mastered it. Don't give up. I have a opinion like everyone does. Keep using your gear till you are Sure you need better Gear. I used low priced Gear and it worked ok. Years of use and I did get better. I will not lie. I do feel it helped me and I do feel it was worth the large amount I paid out for all new Gear. I went with Virpil. However there are just as good gear you can get and VKB had some new stuff that looks like a good price. I do have Rudder pedals and I am sold on them. I watch videos of good Huey pilots on YouTube. My First attention is Will they Hover at liftoff or just go. I may be to hard but I judge ability of pilots on IF and How good They Hover or not. Even on a fast Combat landing it can be done smooth with no Skid sliding. I killed myself Thousands of times learning. I'm not a big fan of the new Engine Power for the Huey but you get use to it. We all know the Rudder input is way off for takeoffs. Far to much Left Pedal needed. When using my Fix Wing Throttle I set it up to run inverted of the Airplane full forward for no Collective and pulled back to add Collective. Axis was on Slider. Keep up with it and Best of Luck.
  3. I had this happen to me once on the ground parked and it was my Rudder peds not being centered (easy fix) then in the air at 120K I am sure It was my fault using the Trim that caused this to happen. I was fat thumbing the trim button set thinking I was releasing the trim but turning it on then on then on lol I don't know why I was button happy that day. after I freaked out about it I turned off the trim and it stopped nose bobbing. It has never done it again with the Trim being used the right way. It is a Odd effect when it happens.
  4. I have a mission The attached track file is not the mission it is a small Example of the problem. Spawn in a Ch47 jump out fly down to the Blue M795 artillery Gun. The Red Gun is setup on commands and it is working fine. The Blue M795 Artillery Gun takes so long to fire it is driving me crazy. I may be not understanding how to use it so please let me know any way to get it to Fire at or about the time the other one fires. NOTE the Blue gun has No commands like the RED Artillery gun has because it fires faster the the BLUE Artillery gun does. Thanks for your help. M795Test.trk
  5. I go by if it is a mod mission it can become unusable at any time. I had one do this with this first new Oct/30th update. It could not read a Shader file error and would not load a mission I had a lot of time making. The Mod was a very old Civilian Aircraft Mod I plan to never use again. I had a feeling I would have this problem with it some day. I just have to start over lol Mod was setup in my OvGME installer. So I know things were Uninstalled right then Updated and then installed right.
  6. What Key Bind are you Using for your Hook Release Key Bind? For Now a Cargo Release only works if the Hook RESET / OFF / ARM Switch key bind is mapped in the control settings to Hook arm Switch Forward and the Hook Arm Switch Backward Then after picking up cargo "middle hook only" when ready set the switch to ARM then release the cargo. If this is not working for you I am sorry for not helping you and not understanding your problem. This is the only way I got it to work for me. Best of Luck
  7. I had to update my Virpil Firmware and set my Virpil Collective in DCS Axis Tune to "Slider" this helped take out the Quick fast Sensitivity back to a normal feel for me. I feel everyone's different controller may effect if this will work (setting to Slider) Try it, it might help.
  8. It has to be hard to develop something like this without people testing and playing with it in early access. Limits of its use will be a fact during this time. Still fun for some but others will wait for it to develop more. I have no idea its direction but it would be a shame if the Cargo is like now limited to picking up light weight stuff all the other Choppers can haul. I want to pick up mobile artillery units haul them to FFB Gloria on the highland in Viet Nam under fire.
  9. Sorry to say it has been this way for years now. Its on a list of reported fixes for some day.
  10. I did the same thing in my home town on one of the Now only 3 still in America B-17s As a child dreaming of getting inside of one. With my Son age 9 at the time. He stood at a side gun station and was about (still a bit short) the size of a Movie gunner at the station. I was 6' and 190 lbs and was shocked how small the Aircraft was. I walked over the Bombay doors(closed) like walking the plank "SO SMALL" I could only look into the Pilot station I don't think I could of fit through the door opening. My Dreams feel to the shocking reality of How far they flew in so much danger to drop Bombs so young and were the Tallest Smallest Men that ever Lived.
  11. I think your right I do read to much into it. lol my (Honest Opinion) likes to blab out loud at times.
  12. Days Later and here I am, I use MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals (not a problem here) My Cyclic and my Collective and a Button Box are Virpil (love my gear) I have no Idea if this was the problem. I know I have NOT updated the Virpil gear as far as Firmware or it's software. It has been working just fine so Why? I did update all my Virpil Gear so it is now the newest software and Firmware. I go in game and it is better now. When I do a firmware I save each device Profile for upload Back into each device. The new Firmware will remove each Profile to factory default profiles. All my custom button profiles can be reloaded back into each device this way and not lost. You must Update each device one at a time. Create a new Profile(setting it back to factory) then Recalibrate each Axis on each device. Save to each device then I load my custom profile back Recalibrate a 2nd time and save to device.(just the way I do it. Call me Gump Lt. Dan) So with the new Windows updates(changes to my system) and new Firmware and Recalibrating my gear it is like 90% of my problems are now gone. Still not like it was on release(rock steady on rails). I can live with this. The Huey still needs 90% full left Rudder for takeoffs and Landings(needs fixed so BAD) Flight is back to normal now. I noticed ED in the last update listed the HUEY back under the original makers name that went out of business and is no longer around like it is not a ED owned module now? ED doesn't seam to want to claim the HUEY as being Theirs to maintain to save face on it's decline in updates. (blame it on the maker they went out of Business years ago.)
  13. yes same home made map nothing new.
  14. On the 13th all was normal and I have been test flying a lot in the CH-47. On the 13th I had a Windows 11 update but all was fine. On the 14th I had a Windows update on the NetFrame whatever xxx so I did that and never got into DCS till after I seen another update for DCS so I did the Update. later I went in to fly and my CH-47 was so unstable like the AFCS was off broken or just not working at all. I had it set to BOTH but it is flying like it did when it was not on Both. it is so bad now I'm puzzled. I went to my HUEY to test it and OMG I have to put almost all Left Rudder into it to lift off. Any Thoughts on What is going on? I have a CLEAN DCS Zero MODS I can't see why this has went so wacky on me.
  15. Problems I found for MYSELF with Cargo release: I can MAP KEYS and they work in the Keyboard Options just fine but when I go in game they do not function. The only Hook release ARM SWITCH I found to MAP that Worked was the CARGO HOOK ARM SWITCH - move BACKWARDS, CARGO HOOK ARM SWITCH - move FORWARD, after mapping both of these the switch would move in the in game cockpit. WITH the CARGO HOOK RELEASE SWITCH COVER - CLOSED, CARGO HOOK RELEASE SWITCH COVER - OPEN, And CARGO HOOK RELEASE PUSHBUTTON, The CARGO HOOK SELECTOR SWITCH - CCW, CARGO HOOK SELECTOR SWITCH - CW, and the CARGO HOOK SELECTOR SWITCH - MID. This switch must be set to MID (middle) and the ARM SWITCH MUST be set to ARM to let the cargo DISCONNECT when the CARGO HOOK RELEASE PUSHBUTTON gets pushed. None of the other hooks work yet so all we can use is the MID for now. Other KEYs FADECs, ENG START 1 and FADECs, ENG START 2 are helpful. The AFCS, SYSTEM SEL SWITCH - rotate CCW and AFCS, SYSTEM SEL SWITCH - rotate CW then like the others have said the COMMAND ENGINEER to Raise The Ramp Fully (Flight), and COMMAND ENGINEER to Lower The Ramp Fully (Unloading) Just some I feel I must have.
  16. How it works For Me. Dial set to Middle Hook only. Hook RESET / OFF / ARM Button Map to A Virpil Sticks Hat (it has 3) It will only Work in Game if it is mapped to the Hook arm Switch Forward and the Hook Arm Switch Backward Key binds. My Virpil Stick has a 3 trigger Gun Trigger The front Trigger is Mapped to pushed forward out of the way set to the Cargo Release Closed Button Cover. Pull it down and it is set to the Open Cover of the Button. Pull it into the Gun trigger and click it is the Cargo Release Button. The other ones worked in the Control Map Binding program but after going into the game they would not work. I did a lot of jumping in and out of the editor to find the right ones.
  17. For me using a Virpil Collective for the Thrust I had first set it on Axis and it was hard to give small inputs. I went to the Axis tweak and put it on a Slider and it helped with better input control.
  18. Me Likey Chinooky Hooky Joe. Me go Hooky all night long.
  19. You need to Fallow this Man he is a real CH47 Pilot and is just getting started on YouTube. He loves DCS and Flying his CH47. He asks for understanding because he does not do a lot of YouTube or Video making. As of now he only has 2 Videos 1 for DCS and 1 for MSFS. It don't matter to me how long or What he makes. He is a real CH47 Pilot and it will be real honest help like GOLD BARS in Learning Give 47Driver some YouTube Love.
  20. The fix for my Problem was to do this: First Clean Then Repair from a PowerShell Prompt. After the Clean then Repair was made DCS World was Fixed and The CH47F was ready to use and I could get in it and fly it. Cleanup and repair How to repair DCS World from Start menu: Windows Start Menu/Eagle Dynamics. Locate the Repair option for the DCS product (version) you wish to repair. You can also run repair with an options: Check all files (slow) and Search for extra files after repair. How to cleanup DCS World: If you need to completely clean your DCS game after modifications, please use cleanup. It is important to Remove all your user mods if you have any, and backup any changes Go into your ...\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin folder. There, hold Left Shift and right click and click "Open Command window here." (Windows 10 creators update now uses Powershell, type cmd in Powershell, press enter and then continue) Then, type the following exactly as printed: .\DCS_updater.exe cleanup this will delete all non official files then do a DCS repair .\DCS_updater.exe repair
  21. I'm so helpless with getting this to work I also have a Install Log File not attached because I am not sure(have not checked it out yet) to see if it has Personal information that should not be shown. So This Paid For Module WAS Installed then Disabled so I can NOT fly it. The Game will load the CH47 It will not let me inside it to fly it. What do I do? Tried to run the Repair From the new Menu and it Just up and Quit with another LOG file. Attached with the name changed to "autoupdate_logREPAIR.txt" autoupdate_logREPAIR.txt autoupdate_log.txt
  22. Slippa is right, Try what he said and do what you find works for you. I use the Feet off the floor in the Huey because I use MFG Crosswind pedals with the full size foot rests. I use the Toe Brake when I fly Fixed Wing and feet off the floor works better for me to use toe brakes that way. Congratulation on your new Gear you're going to love them.
  23. Just deleted my post as I found this report I to have this reported Issue. Thank You and I will be waiting with the others on a repair for it.
