I just did some fun flying in the Huey tonight after downloading the new update, I was on the Marianas Island Map. I have a 4090 but still tonight I was shocked to be getting 60 sometimes 70 FPS DLSS on high and ultra settings most sliders at about 80% Performance on Quality in my HP G2. Looks like VR is in a Good place for me so I was wondering if others felt it was too? It made for a very enjoyable night of peeling off the rusty flying and getting back into the HU-1H again.

That's Good Advice, Sadly It was not in use, I always mark it to run as administrator in the Properties shortcut settings. How I neglected to set it up at some point in time is part of me being me at 70 years of age anymore. Thank You for the Help. It is now set.

Hi. Even if I switch seats I have a small amount of difficulty to mouse click the copilot door shut. I just assigned the 2 front doors to my Virpil Switch box buttons. You can just use the Keyboard commands to do the same thing. Just look them up in the controls menu for the UH-1H.

That is odd My DCS core file has been added to the exception but the one thing that is not is the Update Exe file. And also I added the Entire File Folder of Dcs to the Folder Exception inside Norton antivirus. I would of thought the Folder exception would of stopped this. Also The game started up. I have not had time to test anything yet.

At the time I made this I had support help for Panel 2 that told me yes this will work on it the same way. I only own Panel 1. Glad you found the Solution

I have a custom mission and I use A.I. Gunners to take out 4 armed Speedboats. I was always good setting the Distance to Long and Free to Fire ROE so at the point the A. I. would normally open fire all goes just as planned the A. I. opens up but shortly after the Co Pilot and left door Gunner will stop and not attack any more I have had this happen with the Right door gunner to but 70% of the time it is the left door gunner over the right. The Co-Pilot just will not reengage after the first engagement. I have tried this in New FM and Old FM and is the same for the Gunners. Has this been a issue for a while? Have you seen the same thing? I don't want to report something they know about. I looked but see nobody with this kind of post about A.I. Gunners.

LANDING ON A MOVING: I do this all the time You get the hang of it after you Find out the trick is to Approach the Moving ship and slow down the approach. As you get close you will see the point of your Speed match the ship at this point you are very close and you can even feel the point of ground effect as you move over the the ship in your hover. I like to approach the ship from the Rear it make it easy and I have seen real footage of Navy pilots doing this. If you go slow and keep your altitude low so you are just about 10 or 20 feet above the height of the landing deck at about 50 yards back of the ship and then move up to the ship slowly all the other stuff will work out. The BIG thing is Slow approach and Low Altitude.

It would be Easy to do and a good Idea. The below would help with custom Liveries only the in game liveries I would leave them alone You may know this already too. If not and if it would help, You can do this with an EDIT. If you find the Livery you need and open the Description.lua file with notepad++ at the bottom of the file, add the Name Country and Custom argument 310=1 the front mount will not be loaded. When the in game Hardpoints are in use. I am showing my Rocky Mountain Rescue Livery here. I added a Custom rocket launcher in the same colors of the livery and did not want the front mount on the ship when in use. Like your saying it would be AWESOME if they would add a simple button to add front and back mounts individually save us all this trouble.

Huey Hover Lover age 68 the model was the Biggest fun I had in DCS. I pre ordered the F4 to go with the old Flaming Cliffs Huey. I miss a good Whoop Whoop Whoop over my head. I fear my old age will not be able to master the F4. Jets worry me. not like a P-51D or a Huey. For some reason they fit me (in my mind) like a glove. Someday is the new Huey operating Aera in DCS history at 68 my time is now just like that Someday Any time. No Disrespect intended. Not a Slam. Just the honest truth. I play more Railroads Online now then DCS. I wish I was Younger and had more time to keep waiting.

The Mover and Gonky Show *LIVE* and Interview with Dave Delisio It is a good Interview at about 1.44.00 or so he talks about auto rotating in a Huey and how it would have so much power in the blades a good Instructor could auto rotate it into a hoover land then lift back off and land again. DCS Might need to ask Him to Help with a new Huey Version.
