  5. Thank You for that info. I never have used a Quest Pro Good To know. If I may ask In addition to this Topic. How do you set up your OpenXR Toolkit Companion? do you run Turbo Mode ON or OFF? He still could use help from a RTX4090 User. Thanks Again
  6. The Quest Pro's Resolution is 1800 x 1920 per eye. When I look it up is this wrong or is the setting in the program? My Hp G2 will show as 4320 x 2160 pixel combined or 2160 x 2160 per eye resolution. I would think If a Quest Pro is 1800 x 1920 your pixel combined would be 3600x1920. In the Quest Program it says it set at 5408 x 2736. That is way to high set it to 3600 x 1920 or 1800 x 1920 per eye. Forgive me if I am getting this wrong I do not have any Quest Headsets.
  7. @minimi66 Nice System Sir Congratulation on your new Computer. It should run DCS like a Pro. If you have the time try running DCS like this. Your desktop apps to run DCS. NOTE I run WMR with a HP G2 you do not so do what you would do to run your VR headset. Just make sure you have the Shortcut setup correct and OpenXR Toolkit Companion and OpenXR Toolkit Installed. Newest Version. Start DCS and set up OpenXR Toolkit Companion like the menus below. You have a Nvidia Card so you should try NIS in PERFORMANCE. Turbo mode ON Set your Frame Rate Throttling to your VR headset or not if you wish. SYSTEM With TURBO MODE ON I get Stuttering IF this is not set OVERRIDE RESOLUTION ON=YES DISPLAY RESOLUTION (per eye) I set this to my VR headset resolution per eye specs. Use Your VR Headset Resolution per eye resolution here. After it is set up exit out of DCS to end the VR session and start it up again. With luck you will be Rocking The Socks off of DCS. I ONLY run the Standalone Version of DCS Not Steam. With Luck You already have this working. Congratulations on the New System have Fun
  8. Okay Sir I only posted to give the OvGME program a option to backup then install all your files that could get removed during a Update. I tend to do the file Install in the past by hand and have times in the past after updates things went wrong on my end. Maybe my fault. Not sure. Regardless Safe and Secure Install and Backup can be done with OvGME and I thought this was On topic. So if It is Not Please let me know and I will come back and Delete my posts and move on as I am being told to do.
  9. I took the time to Not Be Me and I downloaded and Installed then teached myself how to use OvGME last month I made a Livery folder and I unloaded them Before Updating it. I do not have any mods but I want to get them setup for use. I feel like a BIG Person now like I know what I am doing and <profanity>. I need a Protection Plan from Myself so It makes me feel good now.
  10. From BIGNEWY when I asked him about no Huey update in this new update Her said "UH-1H changes will be in a future patch" Sorry I thought it was coming sooner in the next update.
  11. My custom made 2.8 missions that ran in Version2.8.38090 will not load in this new update the load window hags in black screen and windows will give DCS not responding window. No mods in mission No mods installed in the game.
  12. It is odd but after putting 500lbs of P-51 fifty cal led into that guy and he flys away like no problem i'll just fly back home and come back tomorrow. I kinda like seeing this. lol
  13. I just ran the update with it off or set to false and I think my shadows in cockpit look way better with it set to true. I will go back and set it to true again for my next try. Also @BIGNEWYSir can you tell me about this post you guys made? I just tested the Huey out and this was not in the Update? When will it come out? it is still like before. New engine modelling methods have been in progress during development of the Mi-24P and AH-64D modules. The new UH-1H engine model was in many ways a test bed for the methods we then used in the AH-64D engines model. We’ve been gathering feedback about DCS: UH-1H over the years, and thanks to our forum users; Piston85, Ramsay and others, we have pinpointed changes to make for new engine model development. We are now finishing the deployment of the new engine model to UH-1H and are eager to let you try it. Please make sure to give us your feedback. The new model represents fine tuning to address the following: Some of the old engine model parameters did not match with their real counterpart, especially in transient regimes. We wanted to improve temperature regime compliance to match the real world counterpart. This includes EGT other engine parameters based on altitude and outside temperature changes. We wanted to improve the modelling of mechanics to include a new model that accounts for the connection of the free turbine and main rotor. The new model has allowed us to improve details of the start-up and shutdown procedures that leverage the expanded modelling of compressors and free turbine. This image shows that we are now accurately modelling auto-rotation situation readings on the tachometer. The real aircraft dial is on the left and the DCS: UH-1H Huey dial on the right.
  14. Can someone explain to me this line at the bottom of the graphics.lua file Does this have anything to do with VR output per Eye? I set it to true during last version. I didn't notice it caused any problem for me. This new update reset it back to false. I forgot to ask about it till now. --in stereo and hmd mode you can try to use single parser for both eyes , by default is false , comment to enable it or set to true stereo_mode_use_shared_parser = false
  15. Something About it Makes me Focus Harder.
  16. Paradise Lost Campaign By Reflected Simulations is my pick BUT you need to go read what each one is and are about so you can pick one you feel you will like to play. They are all made well and you may favor one over my pick. Enjoy
  17. Wow I feel like I live in a Cave in the Dark. What about that Nigerian King that is going to send me $1,000,000.00 for only $100.00 Shipping and handling Fees?
  18. What was the name of the book and where did you find it? Thank You Also.
  19. In the next beta update. Is how I take it.
  20. Read the Weekly Newsletter April 7 2023
  21. Thank You ED. SO HAPPY TO READ THIS.
  22. Radio Com F Menu After Open I wish I could use a Slew Stick to move the Mouse Cursor to highlight a F1 F2 + menu Item and click it for hands on stick and throttle in every aircraft made for DCS. I will Rub the Magic Lantern, or Click my Ruby Slippers 3 time and repeat what told to say, Or like John Luke Picard I will give the order "Make it so" A Quality of Life Wish. Ensign Engage.
  23. I Love my MFG Crosswind rudder pedals. I Do Agree lol My Package when it arrived was Not as Bad but Almost. The Shipper from yonder country to the USA beat the Bejesus out of the package and it was split open and there was loose parts and I had to make the shipper stay till I opened it and Just by luck all parts were still in the package. Lol I do get lucky a few times. Nothing was missing and nothing was Damaged I too had the same zip package open. Regardless The Function of the Pedals are Outstanding and are SO much better then the 50 year old CH rudder pedals I first started out with and the Logitech Pedals The MFG Crosswind replaced. The BIG PROBLEM with the DAMPER is that people Install it the Wrong way. THIS is the Correct way to Install a Damper and You do not use the extra Items in the package on the Version 3 Pedals.I placed a old wood shelf cut down behind my Pedals and used the 2 brackets in the package to attach the pedals to the wood so they do not move or slide. DO not worry about the return to center feel. Get in a Simulator and you will see you will control the return to center and all use of the pedals as the pilot. They will return to center but can be off but out of a Simulator why does that matter? You control the center in the Sim. The Damper gives a Hydraulic force flow in the push feel and yes you can still feel the spring too. Both are adjustable to get your personal sweet spot of feel. These are High Precision Movement Pedals. The smallest movement will be seen and take a wonderful joy of learning the precision of the input given to your feet. Even without ever using Virpil Pedals (I USE ALL VIRPIL GEAR) I would bet hands down the MFG are superior. LOL DON'T tell my Wife I got the Vacuum Cleaner out and swept them off and the floor before taking the picture. She thinks I don't know how to turn it on. Oh I have size 13 feet so they are approved for Big Foot
  24. Robin Olds Will Fly Again. History Lives and it smells like Victory. Please Don't change this. Dam Cool Thank You.
