Well I haven't really complained much here about anything and seeing as how long I've been in this forum.. And since I've actually contributed to this flight sim I think that I can vent a little now and then....:sly: I can't it stand when beta testers come into the forums and play like there all knowing and above the frey... :D So allow me to do this occasionaly, OK, Thank You

I wasn't actually refering to FO specifically, but more so this one here...:( But my real point is that there hasn't been any new releases of flight sims in quite some time.. :disgust: Allthough FO looks like it has a long way to go.. But whats happening with Microsofts new one, it was to be released this month and as far as I know its been been completed and sent to the publishers for packageing and distribution... :detective_2: Allthough I love flight simming of all kinds, I really hate setbacks of release dates as I'm sure we all do (but thats beyound the developers control I guess).... Hopefully as technology progress these issues will be resolved ....

Yeah !!! I certainly remember the day that FO released their intentions, and they specifically stated that it would only take them a year to complete the build.... :smilewink: Well its been so long that I've forgotten just how long its been..... And come to think of it this isn't the only sim thats takeing forever to release..:unsure: It seems that all of them are haveing some sort of issues.... And the excuse that all of us are saying is that they will most lkely start pumping them out for the end of the year buying season...:xmas: But you know I haven't really heard from any of the developers in quite some time. This must be the new way of doing business, just avoid the customers completley... Where I come from this method will cause the customer to walk out of the store...:music_whistling: I certainly hope that this isn't what all of these developers intentions are.... Know bugs ? Try them out, you can allways roll them back if you don't like them ... Personally I've found that they sharpend the graphics.. :smilewink: But one thing though I got these off of Guru3d which I think is down at this time... ~S~ Blaze

This is the same kind of mind set that we've been seeing since day one... Haveing a bad day are you .... :cry_2: Bugs exist, so what, I don't know what flight sim doesn't have them do you? Anyway BS is just the tip of the iceburg (so to speak) there are a lot of things that ED has planned down the road .... I know Waiting Is A B****.. But its part of the world we live in... Theres a lot of Flight Sims that I'm waiting for and some times it's hard to deal with the problems that exist with the present ones, but I'm still here and still enjoying every minute of it...YES, even with the bugs... I'm sure that ED is aware of all of the issues here, even more then us, so let them finish the next phase and when the new engine arrives things should be even better... I'm not going away, anyway where would I go theres very few choises here and this one does have the best potential and its allready been released.... :bye: Blaze

I never use water above MED, heat blur off, everything else I run on high, and I've never had a CDT problem ... Also I'm an Nvidia fan 6800 UTRA AGP... :thumbup: By the way try these drivers 92.91, Theyer AWSOME!!! ~S~ Blaze

Oscar this is a very good point that you made... Working on aircraft mods is very interesting and some of the aircraft that are in the present game really do need to be reworked. But I think that one of the best reasons for getting involved in this tool is to rework the landscape... It would be cool to see complete citys shown with new structures as well as older architecture which I think seems to be missing.... And as far as damage to these citys I think it could be depicted more extensivley.... I mean to give a more realistic impression of a war there should be completeley scorched areas of ground with burned out buildings and damaged trees and autos just strewn about... I'm not sure if the new tools can be used for this but they should be.....

Its cool to see Ed is finally getting to modeling people, Nice legs on that Female pilot with the black platform shoes, and putting out a cigarett after the flight as a nice touch (LOL)..... This is all takeing an interesting turn of events... Outstanding ED.... ~S~ Blaze

Don't you know that 80% of all footware is made in China, that is unless you want to pay over $200.00.. and then you'll find that at this price your going to most likely find that you'll be getting an Itailian made product. Very little is actually being produced here in the USA anymore. This country is now a service based economy, and its eroding rapidly. The borders are wide open and its being overrun by illegal unskilled workers who are takeing away the jobs that skilled Americans used to fill (who by the way are mostly in the middle east fighting the war), so there's no pride or ownership in anything and the US has lost its competitivness.. We need a real plan if were going to get out of this one.. Enough said on this subject... Blaze (out)

Before FC was released The Start Engine Button was page up.. Well I used to go on line and try and start my engines, but I could never get them to fire, and I tried everything!!!! Well this went on for months so I tried to contacted ED but never received a reply... I even PM'd Wags and asked if he would check with the programmers for a resolution to this problem and never got an answer.. Finally I had several private conversations with Day Glow, and after repeadly asking and explaining all the little details the answer was finally reached ... It did take some time as I think that Day Glow was in contact with ED regarding this..... I had at that time a Sony key board which turned out not to be a standard model... Actually it did have a page up and down but it was combined with the up and down arrows and to get the the up and down to work you have to press the shift key as well.. Now this didn't work as Lock On didn't recognize this and you couldn't reprogram those keys at that time... Later on I found that there were a few others that had the same issues as well.. So with the release of FC, ED has changed the buttons to a more universal key combo... Now you can only use the right WIN button with the home key in start up, but you can reprogramm the buttons if neccessary... (cool) And of course I've also changed my Key BD to a standard as well, just in case ... And now theres a problem with this set up ??? But as the old saying goes you can never please everybody, but Ed certainly tries... (LOL) ~S~ Blaze

I guess your new here so let me inform you about Lock On... The title is owned by UBISOFT and they have or had an exclusive lobby for Lock On.... As Black Shark is concerned this is considered a Lock ON addon. So therefore I don't beleive that ED can legally open a lobby for this as well... As as the future is concerned, I don't think that ED has reached any final decisions there, they're most likley far to busy with present issues.... ~S~ Blaze

I don't know how many of you guys were around prior to the release of Lock On??? That took years before it was released.. And when it was it had some real problems because it just wasn't even close to being ready.. I know this is old hat but it seems were forgetting that Ed doesn't want that to happen again.. So have some patients here and let them do what they have to do. I know I personally don't want to see these Forums explode again because the add on was released to quickly ... ~S~ Blaze

Welcome to the Forum.... Your system looks good, you shouldn't have to much of a problem running Black Shark.. Do you have Lock On yet, if not you'll most likely need it to run this addon... And the next undertakeing from ED after B/S should be a new title, but things aren't clear about this as of yet... But even so Lock On will give you a good jump on the next phase..... ~S~ Blaze

I'm trying it out .. It actually looks like TIR 4 is not available as of yet... The graphics have improved considerably but cockpits graphics still need some work but are also better, allthough I have to say that its maybe its not as good as Lock On. But in many respects it's really not that bad , Its a lot better then 2004 anyway.... LOL ~S~ Blaze

Very cool... I had mine for three years and replaced the pots once as well.. I just recently modded the stick and throttle, and believe me if you think its awsome now you should (if you can afford it try the the mods), it adds another dimension to the Cougar. But this is just the way I feel about it personally, I'm sure that we'll most likely hear some contary opionion's after this (LOL)... right Rugg (hehe)... ~S~ Blaze
