Yes it is a lot of hard work to put these videos together - with very little return on my time. -Well. None actually. Other than building up a nice portfolio. I do it purely out of love. (Thanks for that) Indeed. DCS needs the clarity of the HP Reverb G2 or greater to identify targets as well as a monitor. I had the index before that and I couldnt decide TRACK IR over VR. The resolution wasn't quite sharp enough. The G2 though - changed all that. I think for me, the priority has always been - what is the closest experience to a real life fighter pilot flying a fast jet. And that can only be achieved by putting yourself inside the world with VR. I guess no experience is flawless - but the shortcomings aren't enough to spoil it. I still use track ir for my channel. Saves me having to re-record flights again. I wish there was a way to get VR to look good for recording.

For 90% of the time, TRACK IR is just fine. But for intense dogfighting, I don't think you can beat VR. What do you guys think? Curious to see how many prefer TRACK IR and why.

Anyone visited the Imperial War Museum in London?

Definitely want to be visiting some of these places as well. I said it before, I'll say it again, the IWM is definitely an eye opener! -

Applying REAL Fighter Pilot Advice! 7 Tips to keep you alive! PART 1 -
One way or another I reckon. Either through modders or ED themselves! Got all the questions now. Have a few from me too- to add to the list.

In this video I fly with a REAL F-15 Fighter Pilot! After a gradual exchange of dialogue and private flights over the period of a few months, he agreed to do a short video with me. I am honoured to have had his time. Next year, we plan to do an Q&A exercise whereby I can put to him your questions. Let me know what you would like to ask and I can formulate a list.

Had a bit of fun with this myself. Glad with the results ED. keep it up!
-
Just a little bump to see if there are going to be any fixes? Is this a 3rd party thing or ED?

The plane that made its mark during the Falklands War in 1982 -what was then the GR Variant. But here, flying RazBam's AV-8B variant, I have to say, what a pleasure. Syria Map is now even better. Join me as I look around. Quite a funny video in parts.

Here you go. A video on it. Enjoy. A bit of humour injected into it.

I doubt it. But long may they continue! I've just, for the first time, seen the latest update. I say just -it was Monday. Wow. I forgot just how detailed the Syria area is. Its an absolute dream. It really has made me think "I wonder how MS2024 compares" - its that good. (I don't own MS2024 yet) I wish the buddyspike servers would switch back to it again. My only guess was they felt it was too "laggy" for some? - but it's my understanding they have optimised it a bit more now. oh and Sirrah: "Ugra just keeps on bringing out the Matthew in me" I lost it laughing! love it!

I've put here some useful links for you. Stops you having to hunt around. Target tricks and tips for the LED lighting: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/338119-... TM Manual: https://ts.thrustmaster.com/download/... TM Link to Drivers & Support: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/p... If you would like to support me and want me to do more videos, please buy me a coffee. It will help me continue. -||- https://buymeacoffee.com/cptmrcalm -||- -
Thrustmasters Viper TQS worth it? I take a look. I tend to wait a while -let a product or piece of software mature for a while to iron out all of the bugs. Or at least, most of them. I must admit, for this one, I am a little late. But, I think the comparison might be useful for those not sure which route to go. It is mostly a TM VIPER TQS review, but does offer a consideration for the TM Warthog.

I think Top Gun is still cool? if not, it still makes me smile and gives me "THAT" feeling!!! Ok. Looking for something new. If anyone has any suggestions for a server - let me know in the comments section within the video. (not here though since there is no discussions and the admins may delete your posts) -

Cool. There's a lot of hidden gems around London. Some military ones too - that are "off the grid" so to speak. Definitely will check out the others. Will do some air shows next year too. Invite some along to say hi to I think. -
Anybody here been? what do you think? I thought it was amazing and worthy of a mention! I Felt a strong sense of obligation to get this video done. Shame I couldn't get this out on Monday. It would have been more impactful and meaningful. This is a short video for those who have not been. I hope you find it useful. Thought you guys who love the WW2 planes might like this or at least... appreciate this. #cptmrcalm #dcsworld #WW2 #WW1

I visit Growling Sidewinder AGAIN! ROUND 2! Part 1 I was asked to jump in again and do another video and include some more action. It seems people really liked the last video and the editing I did. So here is another. I showcase how I setup the jet to fight too. So if you want to know how I do it - watch this one. This is part 1 with part 2 to follow. -
I don't know if it is coincidence, but removing the F35 mod has enabled me to watch track files on a particular server. Forgive me, but is this rule 1 o 1 for watching track files? Having no mods I mean? Otherwise, it does seem to be random. And yes, agree with original post -an ability to click on "return to main menu" would help when you get a "mission load fail".
