My most memorable moments! Video finally here!! How often have you had an amazing moment in DCS and have hurriedly told someone all about it? Your best mate? Perhaps they were there too and you both spoke about it with great enthusiasm and joy! Perhaps you experienced it alone and told someone close to you what happened? Well now is your chance to share it. Don't have a video of it? Thats fine - tell me about it. I'll do my best to watch videos and read as many comments as as I can. Bear with me. It might be my excitable energy getting the better of me here. I caught up with someone recently and over a few beers we reminisced over memorable flights we had. Unbelievable moments. That got me thinking. How often have you had an amazing moment in DCS and have hurriedly told someone all about it? Your best mate? Perhaps like me, you had endless conversations about it. Perhaps over a beer too! I would love to see your most memorable moments. Could be a clip that is seconds long. Not looking for finesse here. Just a clip that shows a dive that you barely made it out of...or a missile zipping past your canopy? If you don't have a video of it, I would love to read about it. I've almost finished a video showcases a few moments I have had that I think are amazing moments. As I was going through the recordings, I was showing a friend and talking about what was happening at the time. It's going to make for one cosy video this next one. Here is the other stress kill. It was my second flight. Actually the same guy from the first engagement. He was lingering around the mountains, probably waiting for me to take off and fly over him. Its short term fun the Growling Sidewinder for me. Nobody uses the SRS which is a shame. Quick and easy to go in -fly and then finish. Not quite as team focused as the buddyspike server. Anyone any recommendations for something similar to the buddyspike servers? Here is the video by the way:

Recently jumped onto the Growling Sidewinder Server and caught two moments that I am sure left these pilots banging their desk with frustration. In this short video, this guy had actually defeated the missile but crashed anyway!!! I have another incident coming in the main video. Almost finished editing it. Anyone else out there have similar experiences? perhaps yourself hitting the ground?

Regarding AWACS, I personally don't have combined arms, but, it is my understanding that it gives you some intel during multiplayer - perhaps that could be incorporated. Having now started typing this, this project could be quite exciting. Having a switch to take you to a "back seat" which would be an Air Controller screen of sorts (Variant of the F10 map). Wow. I used to like flying the B52 in BMS despite the model being a little basic. It was a welcome change to the fast jets and of course, there was an overwhelming satisfaction of dropping hundreds of bombs!

ED, if your reading this, I am just curious what you think about flyable tankers and AWACS aircraft. Your large commercial style jets. My point is - to attract an entirely new group of players to DCS. Reckon you might draw in a lot of people there. As for the rest in the video - I guess these are requests you have heard before?

Yes, ground crew nearly made it in there. Especially as I enjoy the carrier crew. Haha.. its probably because I am getting old. I don't like it when people dont even leave a pause between sentences! Not going to be for everyone I guess.

Here you go then. Some suggestions for ED - Not just things I want to see, but things I think would attract more users! But of course, one big BIG PLEASE wish included!!!!

Some of them did. Yes. Just have to remind ourselves: Visual Appeal: Clarity, composition, and impact. Creativity: Originality and story. Relevance: How well it represents DCS. I keep looking through the screenshots people submitted- really good stuff in there. I was getting a bit DCS fatigued - but its certainly lit the fire again!

Just a suggestion. For what its worth. Perhaps the community could vote for the next one? We all have our opinions I guess. ED liked what they liked - I just wondered if it fit the criteria? In any event - I really enjoyed looking through the efforts put in.

"35,500lbs Of Thrust" "Fox 3" "Hazy Morning" The heat waves of Dubai behind 22,000lbs of thrust. "Evading" Right over the enemy -denying them the shot. "Sunset Flyby" "Lets Get To Work" Flight deck crew gets into position. "Check Secure" "Dawn Raid" Bringing 30mm of pain - quickly. "Through the flames" "Wings Out Please" "Anxiety" "Thirsty" Refuelling after a 2 hour flight. "Fire Starter" "Bringing Fuel" "4000/6000 Rounds Per Minute" And last but not least. "Purity" Sometimes, the simplest of shots are the most beautiful. Grace. Elegance. A picture of engineering excellence. Although the image is still, and has no foreground or background reference, the image demonstrates energy -aided by a visual vortex at each wing tip. A demonstration of purity. Some, outside of DCS World, may well be forgiven for thinking the shot is real.
