  1. Is there anyone here using this device on DCS? It looks a handy rotary knobs and button box. Since it has 6 rotaries with the buttons it can also be used as f16 icp maybe? It is not expensive also https://www.laptime.nl/shop/index.php?id_product=8&controller=product&id_lang=1
  2. some simple calls are enough at least for now. Like "Missile incoming 3 o'clock!" or "target in range" etc. Non speaking copilots is a big general problem in dcs. (huey and mi-8 crew also don't talk at all)
  3. No it doesn'T If you mean lateral movements , I am ok with crabbing because Uh-1 also always makes smilar movements and I comphensate it with a constant rudder. But apache feels very twichy. Especially take offs are disaster. And I remember doing even a barrel roll while trying to turn at 80 kts. Other thing is, when I hit trim button with other helis, I feel force feedback reposition the stick. But with the apache trim button doesn't do same thing or no force feedback at all
  4. I have added screenshot I think curves or deadzone don't effective with msffb2 because it responds any tiny movement despite big curve and deadzone During both hovering and straight flight Without trim it feels worse
  5. Hi I have Uh1, mi8, mi24 and apache. I am using MSFFB2 for only my helis along with TMHWH throttle and ch pro pedals (with spring) I don't have any problem with all my helis but AH64. All of them can fly almost on their own and the are very stable after trimming. But I am having difficulties with apache. It always leans left or right all the time and it is very sensitive. Am I doing something wrong with the special settings in the options menu?
  6. I am ok with a few screenshots to make it wallpaper
  7. I am happy that orbx is finally in dcs. But I am surprised of map location. There could be better war theaters
  8. I don't think it is input device related and I don't think there is msfs support here
  9. I have flown about 10 missions so far No it is not good for learning. You need to master the huey to complete this campaign. Because; * There is no lables or f10 markings. So you have to know how to navigate and communicate very well (FM navigation, UHF, VHF, FM communication) * In some missions, the helo is very heavy. So you have to manage EGT limits during jungle landings and take offs * There is at least one night mission(s?) that is hard to complete without good managing the flight instruments But mastering these things are not too hard. It comes with enough practise already. My advice is all huey fans MUST have this campaign sooner or later. It is the best for me so far. (I have played all uh1 campaigns). This is a different level of immersion. Maybe our 10 years old huey is not getting any love from the ED anymore but it is still very fun to fly with it.
  10. Is there a list for all Sam threats for cpg to choose? And what are these letters for?
  11. I haven't played with viper for some time since I am spending my time with my helis recently. Today I made a try with it in 4ya server. First I couldn't find any targets with my tgp flir. then I switched to TV mode and found all targets very easily. Then I handed off the targets to my boresighted mavs but image was very blurry and unrecognizable. I locked and fired a few meters off the targets. I know there are some new things on flir side like hot and cold objects but.. don't know..
  12. As you might know, MSFFB2's FFB is becomes active whenever fingers get interact its sensors where on the front side of the stick I tried to apply rubber band to cause a permanent activation of these sensors as if my fingers are on the stick. But it doesn't recognize rubber bands. How can go around this problem?
  13. Thanks but I am using msffb2 as springless stick. So trim hat does nothing for me. I set course selector but somehow it stops responding after a while even I don't make a heading change at all
  14. Thanks guys. These replies are very useful for me
  15. I am trying to learn its autopilot. But ı am unable to turn the ALT hold on by pressing also in which scenarios should I use SPUU ? what does it do?
  16. I am using hat switch for heading and alt adjustment on my Mi-8 But I couldn't these buttons in the mi-24 menu. How can I do that (without axis)?
  17. I think the hind is one of the best looking airframe ever. But its usage areas are very limited in modern war theaters. It can not detect incoming missiles with its useless rwr, can not see threats in dark (even dusk). Can not dial a radio frequency etc. I hope there will be a more modern version of it in the future to deal with ah64 For now I can use it in 4ya servers since the labels and f10 views are enabled. I know it is almost Impossible due to lack of documentation. But it is just a humble wish
  18. +1
  19. does it mean it can be done IRL but not in DCS?
  20. I am not sure if it is a real or fictional but it is very hard to see outside at hover position. I would like to increase the height of my viewpoint as I do with the viper.
  21. F-14, Syria, 4YA servers. Crashes very often. I can't even use mouse cursor for about 10 mins.
