+1 If the Abris can have such features why not the games map tool, nice if it had radio beacon info to :)
-
It is not just resolution but screen size, infact screen size is the bigger issue and the one that scaling trys to overcome because even at higher resolution the aircraft will still be very tiny at normal fov.

The All Things Combined Past Release Date Discussions

first world problems -
How many Abrams in Europe? Matters European powers are downsizing their tank fleets to save costs.
-
That is not the problem, problem is even if you know where to look its an absolute POS because to see any detail on an aircraft even at close ranges you have to zoom right in which is essentially like playing looking through a straw. Changing FOV changes the LOD of the target noticably often resulting in a jarring transistions with great variance in visability, take a ka-50 with blade tip lights on, zoomed out its pixels with very bright glowing pixels, zoom in a bit and it practically vanishes when it transistions to a model as the lights are not at all bright.

I think ive had this issue to caused after a hard landing then repair nothing looked wrong but it was barely controlable.

it will be the ADF radio, if you are not using it you dont need it on also it has a volume knob labeled gain, you can also mute by turning off the nav switch on the signal dist panel.
-
Saw this, tho it appears to be from a simulator.

make sure on co-pilots triangle panel where you turn on dopper power and such that you do not turn on lyangephone it makes you only speak over intercom.
-
It would be pointless for such a thing, advantage of su-35 is in its avonics which you would be unable to make much use of with a simple systems unless one cares about simply carrying more powerful weapons rather than aircraft quality.

I work at a company that spends many 10s of millions of dollars just to change its name so it will be more noticeable. Compared to a free aircraft i would say more is lost through the frequent sales, half modules i have bought were 75% off, i would have paid full price but the sales are so frequent now i just waited, right now they are 60% off. Same with the kickstarter, giving me a lot of aircraft on the cheap i would have paid full price for. If you are looking at the bigger picture its not one of 3 aircraft, its one of many, not just ww2 aircraft but all of DCS. We have 3 additional modules about to release in the next couple of months, VEAO alone is developing 4 additional ww2 aircraft. This is a niche genre, but you misunderstand the comparsion with warthunder, world of tanks etc Their genres were non existent until they created it, had they put an upfront cost to get started with the game they would have never even got off the ground.

Not posible to have dive modeled that wont have people complaining who have formed expectations from loose pilot accounts that dive = warp drive.
-
These show most important information, you know what you can outclimb and what you can outrun at what altitude, its not supposed to show detailed information on how to fly your aircraft only the relative difference between aircraft.
-
They are, the su-25t gives them completely the wrong impression of the simulation, hell it didn't even have a 3d pit until recently. There is a cost, but that is marketing it is done because it pays off, its way the free to play model has been doing better than subscription model as the key is to first get people to try the game get hooked in then charge for more.
-
It doesn't sell the game tho, people have picked up DCS world after hearing about it then flown the su-25t and thought that represented a level of detail all the aircraft and were ignorant of the differences between flaming cliffs aircraft and DCS ones, partly why a free TF-51 was necessary in the first place.
-
It was a steal more like. I backed at 30$ thinking it was 2 aircraft which already was a bargain, but wind up with 5 aircraft rewards which is just silly, not to mention the 1$ backers.

How much to make a module for DCS.
HellToupee replied to Marko321's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Yes, people play BMS because it simulates a war not just because it simulates the f16. BMS people would move over and fly anything if there was a reason to use the modules, i mean i would love such a dynamic environment even just flying the mi-8 and huey resueing ejected pilots it would enrich all existing and future modules. -
Suggestion: Customization of MI-8
HellToupee replied to Mobius_cz's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
be nice if you could set radio presets there to -
The way i see it is none of them have a point.
