  1. The mig is 60000 polys. The F-16 needs mapping, i didn't gave it up, but is on hold for the moment.
  2. soon: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2380072#post2380072
  3. At first it's going to be a MF version, after that i'm going to develop it in a Lancer.
  4. you want a screen?
  5. ok, i'm going to release the Mig-21 Lancer but at FC3 level. To make it a module i need a programmer.
  6. how much would you pay for a LanceR? I may consider in selling mine
  7. @Rudel i see you modified the windshield, can you put more pics? Now it seems to look right!
  8. Woow what settings/mods do you use or it's only photoshop?
  9. i'd really like to see a wireframe of the 3D model. Is it possible...?
  10. I have a question: Who is responsible for this super cool 3D model of the tomcat?
  11. Very good trietnguyen! Try do add more polys on the rounded areas, DCS allows you to go way further. Else, it's an excellent cockpit you made!
  12. you are so right. That's a very good idea in scanning cockpits!
  13. i'd like to do that, unfortunately the distance is too big for me to travel there :)) btw, very nice job you have!
  14. Basicaly you are right. I was thinking at something smaller, like a Mig-19, for example.. but the truth is there is nothing a good-eye 3D artist can't do, even without accurate blueprints..
  15. how difficult would be to scan these with the same scanner this guy uses for the van. as long as the aircraft is easy to acces in the outdoor part of the museum and the personnel is very hospitable, giving you the necessary stairs too. http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?placesearch=Off-Airport+-+Bucharest&distinct_entry=true&sort_order=photo_id+desc&page=4&page_limit=15&sid=e578351a0100b0457cd8773f716ada96 The best part of scanning isthat you can handle the model the next way: 1. You scan it and you get a very high poly 3D model, unusable ingame unless you process it. 2. In this stage you can do the next thing, extract a good refference from the scanned model(blueprints, sections, side views) and build the model yourself from scratch BUT, in a lowpoly manner. 3. Create normal maps based on the original scanned model and apply them on your lowpoly model. This way you get best and efficient and accurate model you won't find anywhere else.
  16. the museum is still here. and you can find very interesting airplanes to scan.
  17. Come in Bucharest, Air Force Museum. You'll be able to scan whatever you want... Mig-15,17,19,21 all variants, 29 and many others.
  18. I am working on the next mig-21 variants: Mig-21 PFM, MF and US. BUT, only external 3D models. If someone, somewhere, somehow believes he can come with a cockpit for these variants and want to put together with my external 3D models and make some mods/modules i am willing for it... Else, i'm going to keep them for me.. One more BUT, the guy must be an expert and to provide high quality work, as my models are very accurate
  19. 3D scanning is an excellent option because of the accuracy it gives to the model. And it would be an excellent idea to do that. If i'd have a 3D scanned model i'd be able to postprocess the model to run without problems in DCS. And, to find a scannable aircraft you can easily find them in museums.
  20. Thank you Joey!
  21. Thank you Joey for the example you show us. Can you put an example for cockpit glass material too? I don;t know yet how to do it...
  22. it's probably the angle of view, but i doubt a pilot can reach that position during flight
  23. yes it's a different version but cockpit's shape is the same, i think there is a problem either with the angle of view, either with the 3d model, the circled part shouldn't be viewable, at least that's my opinion.
  24. something's wrong here:
  25. R-27ET is good enough for Su-27, unfortunately it carries only two
