Coolts, had a look through your track and could not find a reason why... I took some pics.. Last pic is WTF? :noexpression:
-
Yeah would be nice to have the option unfortunately it does not work... at least on my game.. :noexpression:

Not sure what u mean by "HUD Alignment"? Can u be more descriptive or even better post a track.

I started to fiddle with this recently and made a training scenario, nothing special ... One problem i find is the FAC will only assign u 1 target.. no response on the radio after u destroy the assigned target. (been posted before, can't remember where) In my miz I have AFAC helo's guiding u to targets, to get around the "1 tgt prob" I put 3 x OH-58D's as AFAC.. This was so you can contact a different FAC for different tgt's.. Not ideal but a work around atm. Just thought i'd share if it helps any1. Freq:FM 105,135,155 Btw: Not sure why people are using JTAC and AFAC in the same mission/scenario ? I ask cauz my knowledge is limited here FAC test.miz

I think this is a great idea. The ability for rotary & fixed wing aircraft to have connectivity as suggested would be awesome, it would add so much more functionality to DCS and would only benefit ED and their customers. This is a simulator after all... Maybe replace the KA-50 skin with an AH-64D and then every1 is happy..:P

Me too... Mine's still got the plastic wrap on it :P  DOS 5.0 required :megalol: Edit: Just noticed the "2 player modem ver included"

Agreed.. I remember purchasing Falcon 3.0 for my 486DX33.. with 4 meg RAM ... :D Good ol' days For me BS & A-10C are the only 2 sims worth flying atm :)
-
Not in the beta atm but i'm sure a pilot will make his appearance in the final release.. Edit: Just an after thought- I hope a pilot model will be included..I shouldn't assume.. :P

Love the last pic and description.. I won't quote. :D

So...will this patch be a game changer?

I must say, very well said. ;) -
Cool, nice work!

Trying to manually slew the Mav seeker and getting a lock is a pain but really why bother when u have a TGP? - Set SPI with TGP. TMS Fwd Long - Change MFD to Mav. - Slave Mav seeker. China Fwd Long. - The mav seeker should slew to the SPI. ( China Fwd Short for FOV) *Edit due to changes in beta3- - TMS Fwd Short will then force tracking state. You will see the tracking gates close on the target when locked. (No need to set SPI with Mav in Beta 3) - Release Weapon

:chair: You know a poor tradesman will always blame his tools. ;) -
Try here: Config/Input/Aircraft/ka50/joystick

Prob due to some registry items still in there. Try a registry clean out. Here's a good little proggie that might help: http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscareper.html

Yeah I would re-install V1.0.0 then patch to V1.0.2. I think from memory a squad member had a similar problem after patching over V1.0.1.

You are referring to the option "Radio Assists" in BS options. You can enable this and still play in realistic mode. You don't need to be in game mode to hear them. ;)

I don't think the Saitek throttle will function properly for throttle or gear. The throttle is an axis and the BS throttle and gear do not use axis control, only key presses. Maybe this is why it's not working, have u tried assigning the Saitek to your collective?

Gear Physics Inbound for landing with a right turbine failure and a damaged left, hit the runway pretty hard, all seemed ok in cockpit.. Heaving on the brakes slowing up.. Once I got to about 20-30 knots the nose started to pitch up.. I'd hit the brakes and the nose would pitch down slamming the already busted front tire into the ground.. lol I'm thinking WTF. This happened about 3 times, thought I was at the rodeo. :) After stopping on the runway with the nose pitched in the air, I see how the L&R gear were bent forwards. Center of gravity is past the back of the L&R gear wheels.. :) Great physics :D

Yes, see my edit above.

I usually attain a lock at about 6nm without a problem. Remember when slaving all to SPI the Mav seeker "appears" to be locked but its not, it's simply looking at the SPI.. TMS Fwd Long to set SPI with Mav then immediately press TMS Fwd Short to get the Mav to track the target. Edit: Good tip before "TMS Fwd Long to set SPI with Mav", look at the bottom left corner of the HUD. It will show you what the SPI has been designated with... When you go to re-designate SPI with Mav look at this in the HUD, as soon as "MAV" pops up u know to TMS Fwd Short ASAP. In essence after re-designating the SPI with Mav the seeker will wander hence the IMMEDIATE TMS Fwd Short afterwards to track target.

Select the DSMS profile of your Mav's, or simply click the Mav station on the DSMS page.. The Mav need to be selected for it to be powered.
