No offense, but i sugest that anyone who is willing to post anything about a dynamic campaing make good use of the search function on this foruns, both the guys that want it and those that doesnt have spent countless posts discussing the whys and why not. If you do a proper search at least you may notice an argument that hasnt been used dozens of times and bring a new view on this subject.

IIRC, if youre the pilot, none, but if you set a universe or sector trader you'll need this if you want your ships to fire back if attacked. Particulary, i think its better to not give any trader this upgrade, because there are greater chances they will stay and engage in a lost fight instead of just runing for safety. Theres a long time i dont play this game so my answer may be a little off, and i hope i havent wasted a post because your smiley left me wondering if this was an actual question... lol

Even a cheap stick will make your flying experience much more enjoyable, not that it will be impossible to fly only on keyboard, but it will make your life really hard, specially if you plan doing more than one thing at once, like flying and fighting.

your cockpits made my su-25 flights much more enjoyable, so, looking forward for this one. :thumbup:

you should try again and record another track or play the one you have and see if you get the same result (maybe you where going fast forward or something?), because youll see that theres a lot of tracks around that have been uploaded by players, so, broken tracks happens, but shouldnt be the rule.

I would think that a pilot who only trained on a t-38 maybe could skip the a-10 sim with proper study of its procedures and documentation, but not so sure about a pilot who only piloted sims could skip the t-38. I mean, you fly the t-38 to learn the basics of flying and operating a jet, when youre sent to the a-10 sim you already know how to fly, you go there to learn the specifics to the plane. Even if they have different handling the actual flight is indispensable, no mater how good the sim is.

Yes, ive tried both aproaches and both solved the problem (at least for me), its just a mather of wich one you prefer, really. I also had experienced some other problems related to the program files directory, like inability to capture screenshots, tacview not recording and modman not working. All of them where solved either by setting black shark or the other programs (tacview/modman) to run as admin. Sure, installing black shark to a directory other than program files also worked (but i really like to keep all my program there, so ended up chosing the other solution).

I agree with Smoky in some points, but the same way some people wont buy anything associated with steam (like Smoky aparently), some wont touch anything associated with starforce. I will particulary buy directly from ED, but its hard not to see the advantages of releasing a steam version, i just hope they continue to give us the option tho choose bettwen both versions. Also, i like how this can be a good way to counter those arguments that seem to pop up on every discussion about black shark, saying how starforce is bad and why they hate it. Sure, some people will just change Starforce for Steam on some of these discussions, but, hey, you cant expect ED to make miracles.
