Start with empty forward and backward tank but with full external inner fuel tanks: Betty says loud and clear: "Minimum Fuel" EKRAN shows: "Forward tank Minimum" Betty says: "Minimum Fuel" EKRAN shows: "Aft tank Minimum" And you will hear the same during flight when one of both tanks drops < 110 kg fuel. Max fuel of one tank = 760 kg. Fuelconsumption is between 12 Kg/min up to 19 kg/min (hover with full payload), depends on engine speed.   3. I mean normal you should play any mission and campaign as realistic as possible. That means play the mission with real fear in your eyes, bind yourself to a real dead-is-dead promise. No, don't kill yourself. Just determine that if you die you'll burn the game-disk and buy a new game for 39.99 EURO (-; or not touch it again. You'll think twice about every decision after that and you will learn which mission-briefing and mission execution is laughable or quite realistic. The setting of this mission is not bad but other than that this is an arcade-mission and did not reflect the reality.

  5. There are far more landing strips as you might think. At least 3 additional landing strips exists in Georgia which you can use for helicopter-landings as well for plane landings (800 m long runways if i remember rightly): 2 near Kutaisi, 1 near Kobuleti. One landing-strips is used in the first Leading-Edge training. These additional landings strips would be really interesting to know on a knee-board because they are not stored in your Ka-50 ABRIS.

Would be nice to see your flight-technique in a track: for example in the first deployment-campaign ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5GUegbC6_E ) or in the second Vergeev Campaign (mission-download => http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/172/ ). Both are familiarization missions and non-arcade missions. To my knowlege most of the guys with more flight-expierences use this "hold-trim -> turn -> release-trim"-technique. So you are not alone. One of the biggest issue of that technique is IMO the helicopter reacts during the trim too complacent (because thats the way how the Flight-Director-channel works).

INU Fix points and broadcast stations are also broken since v1.02. There was a thread which gives the exact handling. I am just looking for it. The most help/effect of changing wpoints sequence is probably the reverse order. But as you can see the changing of waypoint-sequence is not very flexible. And so far i know in praxis the reverse order has no meaning because the handling is too time-consuming(?) and distracts you too much from flight. A good question. But i strongly believe (; that this has no meaning or there is no function behind.

  9. Can we join servers with integrity-check of the file export.lua now? Or are TARS Beta2 and the joining of multiplayer-servers with export.lua-check mutually exclusive? And i would appreciate some step by step cockpit-pics that show exactly what i have to do in the ka-50 cockpit to enable TARS, to mute TARS or to unmute TARS. Do i have to press any key to speak during flight when i have not choosen the automatic voice recognition in TS3? edit: added question
  10. The more (player) the better is not always true. Some lost the sight of the big picture and were rather confused. Server setting is normaly 1st-person view only and labels off.
  11. Yesterday, ca. 17:00 GMT: 55 or more players on the 51st-server. Normal is 1 - 15 players (qty depends on time). Was there an event or something?
  12. Was just searching for clean export.lua and config.lua-files. Your link comes at the right time. Thxs. I suggest 1) to create during TARS-installation two backup-files: .../config/export/export.bak and ...config.bak. 2) to add in your pdf-documentation a chapter "Uninstall" 3) to add a note in the readme-file, that during installation a pdf-manual is created with detailed informations
  13. After TARS-installation: Integrity-check fail on Mulitplayer-servers. Cannot join any Multiplayer-server (tried 2 popular server). I am pissed cause i cant join Mulitplayer-servers. Which files do i have to delete in the BS-Shark-folder to uninstall TARS and bring my files to the original status?

  18. Did a short glance in the mission code. It may be that destroying/damaging route-bridge(s) is the key-element to hinder the enemy-convoy to reach the FARP. Look in the briefing-documents and the briefing-text. And it is a sure bet that refueling and also rearming at a FARP needs special, not damaged service-vehicles and service-structures near the FARP.

  20. To verify if a building has collapsed place a friendly soldier (or maybe a civilian car) as close as you can to that building. If the building will collapse the soldier will die or will be damaged. Check at the end of the mission the status of that soldier with "is unit alive" or "is unit damaged" etc.

  22. THis start-up refers to an early pre-release DCS-BS. You will notice that things are different now and things have changed.
  23. One main task is "Escort Huys to the airfield". I look in the briefing and found nothing about that except a picture showing 2 huys flying in the air ...
