  1. It's a collection of templates.
  2. There is a track where an AI in an A10 tracks you through a massive 20-floor high city-building. Buildings don't block radar.
  3. http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/158/ http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=40391&highlight=template
  4. Nonsense. Have a look at the trackfiles in .../heli vs heli and heli vs jet/... http://www.2shared.com/file/XWzVl38Y/Pirke_BS_test_track.html
  5. This arragement of points gives you unique sum-results. Campaign-stage 1, Mission_1 Event A=1 point Event B=2 points Event C=4 points Event D=8 points Event E=16 points Event F=32 points Player X have played the mission and got a endscore/sum of ... Score = 0 => In mission_1 nothing happened. Score = 1 => In mission_1 Event A happened. Score = 2 => In mission_1 Event B happened. Score = 3 => In mission_1 Event A,B happened.b ... Score = 24 => In mission_1 Event D,E happened. ... Score = 43 => In mission_1 Event A,B,D,F happened. ... Score = 63 => In mission_1 Event A,B,C,D,E,F happened. At campaign-stage 2 you must create 63 different successor-missions At campaign-stage 3 you must create 4095 different successor-missions. At campaign-stage 4 your must create 262143 different successor-missions (;
  6. This dont do the trick http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAVNFdHeI8I ? Do this with wav-files. The result will be the same. I used a different program though, which is not free. I will send you the converted audio-files (rapidshare) to check the quality and use it if you have problems with the convertion via audacity. Mission 4 after conversion ca. 7MB (mono).
  7. Do a file-search for *.trk in the DCS-BS-folder. The tracks dont disappear. Maybe the new tracks (after the patch) are stored in another folder. You can navigate in the DCS-BS-Track-menue through your whole computer. To get to the subordinate folder click on ".."
  8. I guess there are minimum 15 campaigns for DCS-BS. So the 2nd campaign, 2nd mission of what?
  9. I have played missions 1 and 2 and i must say the text and the voice-acting of particularly the main-actor is very good. However i have not FC2.0 so i converted the missions to DCS BS and added some specific BS-informations (ABRIS-info, adjust proper vertical navigation, campaign-logic, weather, date, aeronautical charts etc). Is it allowed to share this with DCS-BS-community, of course with proper credits? Some suggestion: convert the .wav-files to .ogg-files and reduce the mission-size to 1/4 of the original.
  10. 1) theoretical yes (with the help of tacview or lua-scripting), practical no. Every mission stands for itsself and cannot transfer results to another mission. However the creator can put results (damaged structures, veh., planes, etc) of the mission before in the next mission manually. 2.) yes. Create a singleplayer-mission "introduction-to-campaign_xyz.miz" and dont bind that into your campaign_xyz.cmp file. 3.)the logic of campaign-progress is stored in the *.cmp file of your campaign.
  11. I think the track is broken too. At 15:09:57 pilot was taken down by a SA-18, IGLA-Manpad. And as usual above sea when you splash or eject the survival chance is 0.00000 %. So i am not a big fan of offshore-flying in DC-BS. If i would fly this mission i would take the land-route too. But i dont know the mission-briefing and all that mission-details.
  12. Trying to download mission 1. Get this message for hours: "NOTICE: no servers are currently available with the requested data. Please retry your request in a moment".

  14. Click on it to open that ../Georgian Havoc v1.0 - folder. And then you will see the missions and can play one of them. A correct campaign-installation would be: extract not the Georgian Havoc v1.0-folder in the BS-DCS-campaign-folder but - all ATO*.miz-files - Georgian Havoc v1.0.cmp - Georgian Havoc.jpg in the BS-DCS-campaign-folder. Also get some help here => http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=48328
  15. Do you play with version 1.0.1 or the latest version 1.0.2? It would not surprise me if this is an issue of the latest version 1.0.2 and the version 1.0.1 got it right. But i am too leasy to check this out. Edit OT: just watched some of your other tracks (first person view of a-10/f-16 vs ka-50 etc.) ... speed dive into the city-area to hide and manoeuver behind buildings, wow man (;
  16. Look at your ABRIS / Performance setup submenue: economic speed in climb: 130 kmh IAS economic speed in flight: 180 kmh IAS economic speed in descent: 120 kmh IAS
  17. KA-50: 1. Maximum allowed rotor RPM – 98% 2. Minimum safe RPM in flight – 83% shows an autorotation-landing (begins at 4:20m). There RPM is between 79% and 72% most of the time. But it differs from 61 - 79% during the whole autorotation landing.
  18. Looks like you have a correct version of the Republic Campaign (engl.). Mine is different. Have not played the campaign yet.
  19. Post your tracks of your 4 tests.
  20. He meant the file EnRepublic1.0.2.cmp where the folder/file-location of each mission is described. Open the file with a propper text-editor (notepad++ etc. ) and edit the stuff.
  21. Chapter "The Russian Air losses in the five day war 2008 against Georgia", page 105, The Tanks of August, The Centre for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies: "The fact that at least half the Russian aircraft losses were friendly fire incidents came as something of a shock. In the absence of any real coordination between the Army and the AirForce, the two services were essentially waging two separte wars. Pilots were not fully apprised of the situation on the ground. They were receiving inaccurate and out of date intelligence. According to the commander of the 368th Attack Aviation Regiment, Col. Kobylash, at the start of the hositities the pilots did not even have any detailed information on the structure and strength of the Georgian air defenses. Russian ground forces also lacked information about the situation in the air, and were not sure until the end of combat operations whether the Russian Air Force had achieved air superiority."... http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=958230&postcount=15

  23. I have played the mission 1 & 2, found on a french server for free. - Biggest issue is the fact that i can't fully understand the spoken orders/comments. It has been found that the given short text summaries are NOT a fully substitute for the spoken radio-communications. So, for me, parts of the story/scenario remains unclear. Not a good start to play missions which are based strictly on the "command and obey" stuff. Frustration will be inevitable. The decision to make only short text-summaries for the radio-comm was IMO a wrong decision. - The second biggest issue is the payment: i don't give away my mobile phonenumber and my creditcard-data to an unknown ukrainan company.
  24. Look at this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=37546&highlight=enemy+lines And if i am correct one mission of the deployment campaign is also known as "Behind enemy lines".
