I was referring to this fact: Mission 1 - Waypoint 12, ("C11" on the map): terrain altitude is 110 ASL. First i thought it was 140m ASL. - Waypoint 12,"C11" on the map): given ABRIS waypoint altitude 150m ASL. For what stands the FIRST given "one five zero" in VG001_start mission_en.ogg? I assumed it was standing for maintaining altitude above terrain during flight. -

Some minor note to the first mission: When the order is "fly 150m above terrain" then the waypoint-altitudes (values in the mission-editor) must be terrain-height meter PLUS 150m. If i am correct one waypoint was at 140m above sea level and had a waypointheight of 150m above sea level. Correct would be in the mission-editor a waypoint altitude of 290m ASL (140m terrain + order to fly 150m above terrain). THe question was: is this campaign (build for BShark v1.00) compatible with the newest BSHark version 1.02. So you found no major (logic)problems? Judging alone from the missionpictures and the background story the campaign looks promising. In BShark fog, night and bad weather does not restrict the capabilities of ground units but it restricts the capabilities of the player. In real life a KA-50 would be never sent into a combat mission at night. That is what i have read from EvilBivol-1. To avoid midair-collision with other aircrafts i would say 800 m visibility is the minimum visiblity for helis without radar. In BShark fog = 1 is visiblity = 1000m, fog = 2 is visibility = 500m. -

Briefing, mission2: "You have only few minutes to refuel between the flights. You belong to Operational forces so don’t bother yourself with taxiing. In case of immediate necessity unless otherwise mentioned in briefing or by Flight Dispatcher, take off and land from parking. You land, come to the stop, refuel and take off at once. Is that clear, officer?" No. I have difficulties to understand what in this campaign is "a case of immediate necessity" and what is NOT a case of immediate necessity. So today i will - taxiing and take-off from runway. For that I have 10 minutes. - do the first part of the flight - land somewhere and somehow on the airport of Sochi-Adler - refuel - take-off without taxiing - do the second part of the flight with the wingman - come back, land, do a roll-out on the runway and taxiing to my parking-spot Is this right? Second question. When and where will I meet the group-commander? Can't see his MI-28 from my parking-position. Third question. When and where will I meet the wingman with his MI-28? Is he with us on the first part of the mission or does he come later? -

Good design of the "VERGEEV GROUP INTERNAL REGULATIONS"-pdf. Some questions though: (i) "Whenever officer orders to land after requesting FOO/FD – roll-out style landing procedure is to be engaged. To do that one must carefully study landing approach procedure in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark pilot manual." means what? I contact the tower for landing, land on the runway! and taxiing to "my" parking slot? (ii) "Vergeev group campaign missions are edit protected...". What about track-files of a played mission? Can i show up track-files of a vergeev-mission on the forum, can i share track-files with the community? (iii) How much will the Vergeev-Group-Campaign cost? (iv) Will it be offered for download or via CD? (v) What are the overall file-size of the Vergeev-Group-Campaign? I think these 2 miz-files are for multiplayer. Not for single-player use. -
Have done a 3-ship-flight. Its unplayable for me because of constantly low frames. IMO the hugh amount of units are the problem not the quantity of 600 or more triggers. The details and the mission itsself is realy good.

(i) Yep. There is a way. But this way is not passable for beginners. This way is doable for these who have an understanding of the source-code of the file "mission". Theoretical you can also do the necessary changes with the MissionEditor. But this will be time-consuming if the mission is complex. Here you go ... Change one "client"-unit into a "player"-unit. Expand the player-unit to a group of 2,3 or 4 units (create new wingmans). Delete the rest of the existed client-units and make the changes also in all existing triggerfunctions. Create new triggers so that all new created wingmans have the same effect on all the triggers as the player-unit. Here the new copy-function of the mod (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=55185) will certainly be a big help. And when you have done these things it probably will turned out that you spoiled the mission in many aspects ... :| (ii) In SP your change from simulation-mode to game-mode will be made as always in the option-submenue (controller-settings, game-setting, etc) of the main-menue of the ka-50-black-shark. In MP your change from simulation-mode to game-mode will be made in the server-setting. If you are not able to change the serversettings you can not change the simulation-mode to game-mode.

Your link contains the required missions. Nothing else is needed. You have to unpack the zip-file and put the 15 or more unpacked MIZ-files (plus the CMP-file) into your .../Ka-50/missions/campaign folder. For installation check the readme-file if there exist one.

A rough formula: Missions (or latest updates) produced between 11/2008 and 07/09: compatible with version 1.00. Missions (or latest updates) produced between 07/09 and 04/10: compatible with version 1.01/1.01c Rest: compatible with version 1.02 So check out when the mission (or latest update) was created.

The "magic numbers" (here the temperature at each waypoint) are calculated results from ABRIS/PLAN/EDIT/VNAV (=desired altitude AGL) and the temperature from the mission-editor. The result is stored in ABRIS/PLAN/EDIT/METEO. An that result goes in the "ABRIS/MAP/Flightplan. But additional flight-plans/alternative flighttplans have not the right calculated temperature. Only the default flight-plan from the mission-editor is correct. The ingame-weatherconditions are everywhere on the map the same. If at your take-off-position the condition is 4°C @ 2000m AGL then everywhere on the map are 4°C @ 2000m.

You can create a small list with fields "countryid, country". 1: russia ... I mean the list is not big. Its done quickly. It has only 10 or 15 items i think. -
