How does May 2012 become "the end of the year" why focus on P51 and combined arms when we all bought beta versions of A10 and they removed nevada and since then nothing, no hint at progress, no deadline set and met - I feel as if they've just shafted the fans who invested their cash up front to support an amazing simulation but want desperately to fly over desert terrain. Why not release what they have done as a beta and we can help them iron out whatever is holding it up - come on ED where's the love

Both A10 and P51 up and running - I purchased BS a long time ago from another company and don't have the serial and don't want to buy it twice but prefer fixed wing in any case. I'm having a problem too - I installed the new DCS world and neither my a10 or p51 are there - they only have buy icons next to them and I don't see where I can put in my serial numbers as it just takes me to the add to cart purchase menu. Can someone help me please?

surely their focus should be on finishing one project which was promised to beta purchases last year? Loads of people have expressed anticipation about flying over desert terrain rather that Georgia given current operations for the hog in sandly climes - im just dissapointed that they saw fit to remove it from the beta and appear to have put it in a backdrawer for loyal fans and of course I don't have the copy of the beta that I could pull it from to at least fly over the half finished terrain - very dissapointed despite loving the sim

I know ED say it will be ready when it's ready but they did say May many months ago and here we are in July and not a word about it, no screenshots, no excuses, no revised release date - just silence. Is it too much effort to just write a short update for us?

Not sure B it seems more a matter of them being supersensitive, perhaps you're right though as the suggestion to press W seemed to work yesterday. I just have to be ultra careful in my takeoff runs, gets frustrating after a ramp start and taxi just to crash as the flight begins. My ramp starts are spot on now of course with all of the practice! Loving this sim though, Im doing my private pilot's license just now so its nice to swap between a piper archer and the hog!

I have Saitek combat rudder pedals too, I'm zigzagging up the runway like a drunk and manage to take off once every three attempts, tried the suggested deadzone slider settings etc. to no avail, I think pressing W may be helping - shouldnt ED be picking up all of these Saitek pedal problems and maybe having someone have a look. Even if God forbid it means pulling someone off of the Nevada map (released in May but perhaps not May 2012?) anyway best sim on the planet so Id best not knock it - cheers guys.

Hi thanks for all of that, mission folder location very helpful, I have the tow brakes working now - not sure how I did it ! Re the last ones I have installed as admin however wondered if I should change the location to the c program files (x86) rather tham c program files in order to utilise faster bit or am I talking nonsense? cheers for the help

As DCWorld will be the way to go from now on I'm looking for some help with it, try as I might I cant get my Saitek combat rudder pedals sorted out in DCworld - they were fine in a10 with them inverted toe brakes were spot on - I can't get any toe brakes no matter what I try here and can someone tell me where we post missions into as the folder missions doesn't appear to be there. Oh final final question for today ;-) should I install dc world into my programs (x86) folder as it has just gone into the c:\programs folder. Many thanks guys as always.

" A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable has been detected on the machine" Anyone help me here, trying to install DCS world for my standalone a10 so I can benefit from next patch release - when installing DCS world I'm getting this message which I thought unusual as usually DCS installs are bang up to date - any advice please? Thanks for that - however in trying to install DCS world it's asking me to specify the drive and folder - help here please regarding where to specify and then when I install A10cEN will it chose same folder and after that do I uninstall the a10 files ive been using up to now? Thanks Nate - I also have been flying on standalone version for some time, I've looked on the website but can only find the download for version 1.1.1.1 which is what I'm flying - where can I find the download of DCS world and the a10c patch that's mentioned? Will it be included in the next patch release or should I download it now? Many thanks Ian

Just felt like a year or two working up the courage to ask my wife for the HOTAS cash ! Saw the screen shots of Nevada - gobsmacked and humbly will retreat into the background again and see if I can get LGB and JDAMs working, took me a year on the Maverick front so looks like I'll be busy ! Still no sign of Nevada terrain, have been with this sim since beta release, after a year or two I went mad and purchased both HOTAS and rudder pedals - would love a change of terrain - is there any information about rough release times or has it been put on a back burner? Please dont see this as a whinge as I'll stay with this sim regardless but the Nevada terrain we had in one of the early betas was fantastic. Cheers Ian

yep agree and letting us buy the beta version was a stroke of brilliance and no doubt brought some cash in. I bought the HOTAS stick and throttle this week and finally can fire mavericks - fantastic! Can anyone let us know when nevada terrain will be released, would love some desert mountains - great sim guys - way better than falcon adn I loved that viper, cheers

yeah i had the same but was running from desktop icon rather than clicking run as admin, found this out after 3 installations

hi folks, have new os and installed a10 beta on it but would like ot run BS too - bought BS online and e-mails lost when old pc blew up - have it on my latop but cant see any sign of registration - can someone tell me where i can find it - old laptop is Windows - dont want to buy product again but no reply from e mail to DCS for help - thanks Ian
