You already can create/edit flight routs in singleplayer missions when you click on "Mission planer" at the bottom of the briefing. Its opens a ME like window where you edit your routs and payloads

The server proably made them immortal. There are settings in the mission editor allowing you to make units immortal.

You need to be logged into your DCS account when you are in the DCS store. It should then appear as 10€ on the checkout

Imagine balancing a war because it would be otherwise too unfair for one side.

I recommend Currenthill mod in the mean time https://www.currenthill.com/ Maybe ED can add the mod to DCS like how they did with the other asset pack recently Here some pics of the infantry of the Curenthill mod:

Yes. Might be problematic with theme servers or certain missions using different skins. It also might be a immersion breaker in many situations. Yes but I dont think this is easy to accomplish or economical for a company. Im against that idea. The two weeks trial system is already fantastic for people giving a sense what DCS is about and how it feels like. Also the devs need to get paid and you wont achieve that when you make FC products basically free. I'm against that too. Yes the lack of aircrafts is a problem but I dont like see DCS becoming more of a arcade game where high fidelity aircrafts are the exception. There are other sims already doing this. This is already in the works Thats stupid. DCS shall not become a arcade game and reality is, flying slow drohnes for hours isnt fun especially when they dont carry much as in real life and get shot down with ease in any high end scenario. They dont even have RWR or countermeasures. Thats already doable with scripts and the trigger system.

Mike_Romeo replied to brianacooper11's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
You wrote the first massage after 8 years of silence in this thread. The guy who made the thread was last seen online in 2019. Pretty sure its dead. -
Very likely. The blue sign in the background of the CH-47 trailer says "Partnership for peace" which is a program launched in 1994 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Partnership_for_Peace

Also the Towers and bunkers shown in the CH-47 trailer fit the fortifications used on the former inner german border Real life: Real life:

Radar Expected Detection Range and Elevation?
Mike_Romeo replied to pauldy's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
In soviet Russia, fighter pilots are usually guided by a GCI who tells them distance and altitude to the enemy. Because of that, they built the radar in such a way so that you basically only set the range and altitude difference between you and the target. Based on the expected range and altitude difference, the radar will then looked at the expected place in the sky. Here a visualization: -
Try resynchronizing your PC time with the internet. A few seconds off can cause authentications to fail

StopGaps - Script to fill empty player slots with planes
Mike_Romeo replied to cfrag's topic in Mission Editor
When a group of 4 aircraft is placed and a player enters one of the aircraft, the entire group gets removed. Is there a way to prevent this or do I have to set every aircraft independently ? -

The global map will co exist with the other maps.

Read this article about how ED made the Aim-120 and say again DCS is a arcade game. Its obvious that you don't have any knowledge about aerodynamics or physics at all.

There is a trial system. You can try it out free for two weeks as long you dont use the steam version.
