  1. Hi All, I have created multiple custom loadouts for my F/A-18C, under various tasks. Some have been from the Copy function in Loadouts, most are from new, however, no matter what task I change to, not a single custom profile I have created over months is visible I thought over the months I have been creating profiles and perhaps not saving them etc, however today I have created 3 for JDAM training on how to use them., and now I am back in the editor, having finished my training, not a single custom one is there Pleas can someone help me on this Thanks in advance Toni
  2. Hi Bailey, I think you can ignore my message as I think you have it in your https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts link. Just wondered also if you have a StreamDeck profile for the F/A-18C Toni
  3. Hi Bailey, That tile set looks really cool. Do you intend on releasing it, I would love to have something like this for my F/A-18C. Understand you have it for Mossie, but wondered if you were going to release so it can be looked over and then possibly updated to other aircraft by the user themselves? Just wondering Toni
  4. Thank you Shimmer, much appreciated
  5. Thank you for your answers Sorry, I did not word my question correctly. What I meant was, is there a way to centre the values? I have carried out several HMD align through the BIT menu, as well as 'Align' and 'Fine' through the appropriate options on the DDI, but still the values remain as is where '+0' is way up on the Heading Tape Does that make sense in terms of what I am asking?
  6. Hi Fellow Pilots, I just want to ask what the -22 value is in the attached image. As I move my head up, the value reduces until I am looking at the heading tape where is is +0 Anybody able to assist?
  7. Hi Fellow Pilots, I have been extensively using the interface for StreamDeck that Charles Tytler wrote, to configure my XL unit for the F/A-18C. Granted it is all been for the way my little brain works and obviously 100% personalised for my use. I apologise for asking these questions, but I have medical memory issues and forget easily Seen as I have put so much effort in to this, I thought I would release to all the fellow pilots out there. Before I do though, I just wanted to ask a couple of questions; 1. Do I need to release the customized F/A-18C lua I am using? 2. Do I need to release the clickable data, or is that standard for everyone? 3. Do I just need to release the profile itself with some support documentation, or is there other StreamDeck stuff I need to add? 4. I will obviously credit those others where I have reused the odd icon here or there from other profiles I have downloaded, and will also make available every icon sheet that I have created in Adobe Illustrator *.ai, *.psd *.png 99% of what is contained below is based upon direct interface, rather than keystrokes or combinations of keys, so there is virtually no keys that need to be mapped in DCS itself Here are the screenshots of the profile screens I have created and using, and what I intend to release; As I stated above, almost all the buttons and gauges etc are utilising the direct interface, and not keyboard strokes, so little to no remapping of keys is required to make it functional If someone who could help me with the answers, then I can get this released tomorrow hopefully Thank you Toni aka Ice Rhino
  8. Nevermind, I have found how to do it
  9. Hi All, I am using ctytler's DCS Interface for use within the StreamDeck software. I just wondered if anyone knew how to add an output value to the DCS Comms window of the interface. I have added it to the ID Lookup OK, but I do not know really where to start with adding it to the DCS Comms It is 491 (Auto Throttle Control). I have the button to turn it off and on, but I want to see the values so I can change the text of the button with it being off/on Thank you
  10. I was not trying to save to that folder. I had a totally different location selected that was out of O/S protection installation folders, which I fully understand as I am a 30 veteran of I.T. Consulting and Tech Support. I was trying to save it to a custom data folder where I save all my files, it is just that when the error came up, it changed the save path to as per the image I have solved it now anyway, I have selected a different folder within my save location structure and it worked this time around
  11. Apologies for hijacking the thread..... Hi Charles, Are you still considering the parsing of HOTAS commands in to DCS Comms on the plugin? Or perhaps some indication of how I can achieve this myself? Thanks
  12. I was not trying to save it to that folder anyway, it was set to save on a different drive in my data folder
  13. Ah OK, it is just the standard Trim on the F/A-18C HOTAS I have Thank you, did not even think to try the HAT on my stick Doh!!!!!!
  14. Hi Drac, Thank you for responding, my Flaps are set at half, but LCtrl + Arrows do nothing to change values. I do not even what I am looking for in Control options to check keys are mapped correctly Toni
  15. Hi All, Subject says it all really. When doing Carrier startup, FCS Reset and then T/O trim, I need to increase my Trim from 12 to 17 or even 19. I am on the CHKLST page, but the only references I can find are to use the LCtrl + Arrow keys to increase the value, however, the combination does not allow me to increase the trim level for the higher weight aircraft, it just remains at 12 degrees I know I can get off the deck and its only a game, or Simulation for me, but I want to set the values correctly as it should be Any assistance appreciated
  16. Hi All, I am trying to save a script in Target Script Editor but I am getting the following error when trying to save I have checked the permissions of the folder structure and have full access rights via security tab Anyone able to throw any light on this or at least where to start? Thank you
  17. Hi All, I have managed to get the ATC to appear in the ID Lookup in the Stream Deck Interface, what I can't get working is getting the value to appear, which I assume it is something to do with not getting it to appear in the DCS Comms screen within the SD interface Anyone know how to get the value to appear, or get the ID 491 to appear in the DCS Comms List? Thank you
  18. Hi Charles, Apologies for not responding to you quicker on your very kind response. I will try to work out how to get the value displayed for 491, so I can set a change state for imaging. Currently I have the button working, but no value appears no matter what i do. I guess i have to get the value to appear in the ID Lookup so I can change image accordingly Again, apologies and thank you BTW, it is such a fantastic interface you have built, I totally love it
  19. Hi Fellow Pilots, I mainly only fly my F/A-18C. As I am practising with the aim of improving, I was starting to Save my Track files, but everything is off. I had a mission starting starting with me 1 mile behind the tanker, same level, same speed, and I approached it slowly, and then managed my first A/A refuel When I view the saved track file, it shows everything as was, apart from the fact I am about 1,000ft below where i actually way, This is not what happened in reality, or TacView I have attached both if anyone is interested Thank you Tacview-20210921-142810-DCS-FA-18C-36th-Mission-31082021-v03.zip.acmi FA-18C-ME-Cyprus-1st-Refuel-01-20092021.trk
  20. Hi All, I was trying one of my missions yesterday, and got hit pretty hard on the left hand side of my F/A-18C, and had various issues and thankfully I managed to get her landed at a friendly airport Although I know what I was experiencing in the aircraft, I wonder if there is a way to see a detailed report of the aircraft status and damage to whatever onboard systems, post mission? Thank you
  21. Thanks Both, Precise was assigned to F7, now Shift + F7 and changed the other 2 to Shift + F8 and F9. Left the Centre as Caps Lock Off to try it now, but confident you are both right Thank you very much
  22. Hi All, Although the key has proven to be working out of DCS, I can't do anything with said key within the Sim. I tried to assign it to the default for the purposes of the Comms menu, but no matter what I do, it will not recognize me pressing the key. I have it selected 'F7 Ground Unit View' and also with a 'LCtrl + F7'. and yet still it does not work on that functions either It is only really causing me an issue within the Comms Menu structure, as all I can do is use the mouse. I have a Stream Deck XL which also has the entire Comms structure, including F7 as a button, again, nothing in DCS. Every other application, F7 works perfectly Any assistance would be truly appreciated
  23. Ah, OK, I do use the Dark & Clean cockpit mod That is what it is then. Did not realise the buttons were part of it Thank you
  24. Hi Dograw75, I have looked again and it, to me, is only FF, see attached Toni
  25. Hi Fellow Pilots, I am using the Mod by Harker which turns all the MFD's to Grey etc. UFC is also a grey colour. I just wondered if anyone new where I would find the option, I assume in materials.lua so I could change the A/G and A/A buttons to Grey, and perhaps also the RWR receiver. Also, since as long as I can remember, my IFF button on the UFC, clearly states 'FF' not 'IFF', is that right? Thank you
