Hi All, Great thread, allowing me to solve many issues I was finding with my R ALT with the L CTRL issue One thing though, I can't get my Stream Deck XL (v5 software) to recognise Caps Lock, which is what I have set as my TrackIR Centre key Anyone know how I can get Stream Deck HotKeys to recognise Caps Lock? Thanks again for a great thread I would love to see a guide if you did one

Thanks for all your help Recluse, and your addition AdrianL. I found a mod that makes the screens Grey Scale, which I find a lot easier to see, I guess I am just getting old. As one great character said "It's not the years, it's the mileage" Thank you

Hi Harker, Just wanted to say that I love this mod, it works great, and certainly made using the FLIR much easier for me. I guess my old eyes are not so good at splitting out shades of green I do have one question, with regard to the MFD Reflections, although I have followed your instructions, and have the MFD's in Grey Scale, in the 'Special' section, under F/A-18C, I only have two options for MFD Reflections, None and Static Also, is there anyway to make the two main lines on the Maverick screen off white, they are green for me still. I am referring to the screen for the AGM-65F and the lines that run from the top to bottom of the DDI and Left to Right The grey is so much better on the DDI's, so other than those two questions, I truly love this conversion mod you have made

Slight technical hitch on watching the TRK, I don't have the Module A-4E-C I will track it down and purchase it or whatever, so I hope I can then watch the .trk

OK, well setting the waypoint altitude change certainly made a huge change. I have also dropped the FLIR to the AMPCD, which I find easier to see through Black/White/Grey Scale I will persist with it now that I know it is not something that I have missed on the setup Thank you for your help Recluse

Hi All, I am trying to learn how to use the AGM-65F in conjunction with the Targeting Pod. I have been watching various tutorials on YouTube, including SpudKnockers various videos on the subject. There are a few things I do not think are right on my setup. I have the FLIR set to Image Mode FLIR, as appose to CCD, White hot. When I select 'WPDSG' the pod image clearly slaves to the waypoint location, but even at say 20m range to target, all I see is green. Apparently, I am supposed to be able to render an image at <42m. All I see is bright green, in fact all I see most of the time with the pod, even if I am slewing it manually with the TDC, everything is bright green until I am about 10m from the waypoint/target. Even when I first select FLIR, the image is bright green, like maximum green brightness, even though I am in Snowplough mode looking at the sea I have replicated the mission in the same test area of the Marianas map, on a nice clearly sunny day at noon Please could someone help me

Hi All, Apologies if this is in the wrong section of the Forum. I want to start creating a panel for a Microsoft Surface that is not yet connected to my machine. I know the resolution of the Surface, which is 2160 x 1440. How do I go about creating a new panel for a screen that does not yet exist? All Helios is showing me is the monitors that are currently connected Is this possible to do? Thank you

Hi Fellow Pilots, I have my new CubeSim screens that I want to use obviously with DCS. I can't DDI get the screens to show on the respective devices. Here is the setup that I have in use; My Monitors are configured as follows; Attached Image 1 – 1920 x 1080 2 – 2560 x 1080 (Main Monitor and also only screen that DCS runs on) 3 – 1920 x 1080 4 – CubeSim Screen 5 – CubeSim Screen Please can you assist me with how I configure DCS to run on screen number 2 and CubeSim screens, 4 & 5 I sincerely hope someone out there can help me, It has taken me 8 months to get to this final part Thank you

Sorry GhastlyTT, , forgot to update. I did get the replacement at the end of last week, and run a very quick power up and connection to Windows 10 which appeared to be a success. I am hoping to get it hooked in to DCS this weekend

I too also am not able to see rain. I have Rain Droplets on in Options. I have made the worst possible weather in the editor, and yet not a drop I have never seen rain ever in one of my missions, or pre-set missions. I am running v27 stable

I know there is a list somewhere that shows the options you can use as part of a Mission Start Trigger, as they do in the Training Missions I was going to try and find some of these in the Auto-Start file for the Hornet Thank you

Hi All, I have created my own Theme for my F/A-18C, everything works fine, apart from some images. I can't seem to override the load screen from Mission Editor. I am stuck with the standard 306 F/A-18C flying away from the camera, as below Here are the filenames I am using; 1. base-menu-window.png (Works Perfectly) 2. briefing-map-default.png (Never see it) 3. loading-window.png (Sometimes see it for a few seconds) 4. MainMenulogo.png (Works Perfectly) 5. open-file-dialog-window.png (Never see it) Files and images on second image below Any assistance would be appreciated

Hi Fellow Pilots, No matter what mission I create, when the mission starts, my hook is always down. I have everything plugged in and on, TM WartHog Throttle and Stick (F/A-18), TM TFRP Rudders Pedals, TrackIR. I have gone through the settings for the Hook, and everything hook related is either not mapped or the one that is is, cycle Hook, which is mapped to the default 'H' Please can any one give me some thoughts on why this might be happening??? Hi All, I posed a question on as another thread to try and ascertain the lead times people have been experiencing in 2021 for orders they have placed for the CubeSim screens for the TM Cougars. Part of my question was truthful, and another part was not. What I am about to write is to try and inform you of a situation, that 'might' be occurring in the provision of these screens Someone purchased these screens for me last Christmas (2020) and they arrived early 2021 (January). After an period on Life Support in hospital, I returned home in February and was eager to try my screens. Fired them both up, and clearly there was an issue with one of them, in that half the display was missing, it would not display the top half of the screen. I immediately contacted CubeSim, Garfield, and informed him of this, I sent him all the photo's he requested, and he/technical team, confirmed that the screen was faulty, and that a new one would be shipped to me. Fast forward a couple of three weeks, still no sign of screen, then, over the next few weeks, the responses were, stock held in customs, should be with us end of March, waited, nothing, then it was end of April, waited nothing, then it was end of May, waited, nothing. Now approaching end of June, and nothing. He will not ever respond to my E-mails now. All I want is what was paid for, and I feel that I have been exceptionally patient, and I am getting nowhere. I have been in touch with him so much this year, and always it end of whatever the current month is, and assurances that my replacement will be the next to be shipped. I even got the standard reply saying they had start work again, and still I have nothing. I will make all the E-Mail thread back and forth available to anyone, where you can see that I have not been confrontational with him at all, although the tones of my E-Mails are becoming more frustrated Anyway, just a heads up for you all as to my situation and where you 'could' end up Toni Carrera
