The f15 is not "all that great" in lockon either. People continously use the 33 and 27 and shoot 15 out of the sky.... it's all how you use it..... (as I'm trying to learn how). Be positive and try to figure out how LockON's implementation of things and not the real world comparisons (or your interpetation of it). It's a sim / game. Have fun with it and just fly. Everyone here knows I'm no fanbois and I have my own opinion, some facts and some BS and some facts based on BS. (least I forget one... BS based on facts :) ) I choose to be a bit more positive and try and enjoy ....

following questions if I may... shouldn't time to target countdown appear also? in either tws or sst modes? (in the patch..does the 120 now have a time to target while firing a HOJ , like the 7 does?) thx for your quick response....

ok.. thanks for explaining the A/F-Pole differences... So F-Pole is for aim7 & 120 and A-Pole is for 120?

Hi GG... I have tried using just TWS and it appears all can see and target me at will... (tws is supposed to be a passive system as I understand it). A-Pole? never understood that one....I saw a explaintion on frugals forums and was thoroughly confused by all the "-pole" types....

By my experience (or maybe I'm doing it wrong) it doesn't work in closer ranges either.... 12nm or less (even had did it with a target at 3nm just 3 days ago)... STT mode.. 120 enabled.... target locked. I'm at their six.... I fire... wait for a few secs (up to 10sec max), turn off radar , and vector hard away from target (f-pole i think this is called). No joy every time. it seems like everytime I use the 120 without maintaining a target lock for the duration of the missle flight time, it will miss everytime. Keeping a contant target lock is nuts, because now everyone on the other team now tracks me easily and shoots me down easily.

that starforce thing...is indeed great news.... I pretty much keep the cd in the cd drive all the time. So now I don't have to worry about it as much... thank you

Because we all own the game already and price fluctuations will occur overtime. I really don't think there is a conspiracy going on. If this other company is selling LO:FC to BestBuy to sell, frankly it's non of my concern and chance a good this other company has a deal with ED. If not, who cares? ED will sue and that will be that.
