We have our own reasons for not talking through SRS or TS. I usually connect to SRS and answer someone for confirming that his SRS was ok. I play DCS mostly at night when the wife's sleeping, I really dont want to wake her up with my broken english then being told to stop the game and asked to go to sleep lol.

In close range yes but I found its no different with the AIM-120.

Most likely it is. I've seen quite alot of odd things with missiles like dissapearing prior to impact or phoenix flying through the plane etc. Its DCS bug I believe.

Just forget about FC3 F-15C. I agree that whole FC3 is finished. I dont think they'd add more features into it other than bugfixes. Lets hope for HiFi DCS F-15C with DL and AIM-9X. This thread should be moved to wishlist thread IMO.

I don't know about the real thing but shouldnt reset button clear the bugged target ? It doesnt always work. Switch to gun works everytime. It also gives back RWS sweep normally that not give full sweep after switching from TWS.

I don't think it is. From my understanding the DL sometimes acts inconsistenly. It could give you only one bandit appeared and the others did not while in fact it should, considering its inside AWACS LoS and the bandit was not in notching. Its hit and miss so pretty hard to track.

You should have the record if you have Tacview installed on your computer. The server enabled for the external export IIRC. The tacview record has 10 minutes delays to prevent cheating (thats probably you knew already).

I recall from the old day of Lomac one of ED devs said the F-15C (no idea which block or version) actually much more capable in AG compared to Su-27. The USAF just didnt use it and dedicated only on AA superiority.

Mover said in one of his Youtube videos that DCS Viper is too draggy. Imagine how fast it should be lol.

I didnt find any different or disadvantage both at AA or AG role.

Just use stored heading alignment (90 secs)or inflight aligment (never tried this tbh) if you really want to get airborne really fast lol.

Got news from Discord that they're testing new lighting system for 2.5.6 version. Hope its worth the wait because I was expecting Viper DL to be fixed this week.

There was a thread reported unrealistic drag caused by slammers and aim-9x IIRC. No idea if the problem fixed or not.

Just a friendly bumpity bump post here. Hotas functionality should be one of those priority IMO. Its one of best things in Viper.

The issue still there even when F-16 and F-18 on the opposite side.

After playing around with SD-10 its actually relatively easy to defeat with chaffs. Just dump quite alot of chaffs in rapid sequences while executing notch manouver, you should be fine.

I had bad experience with AMD driver in old DCS version. The FPS was way worst compared with NVIDIA. I'm now tempted to buy the 5700 XT because the price is like USD 100 cheaper compared to 2070 super. Is it still the case ? Because after watching some benchmarks I could see some games better with AMD and some don't.
