  1. That is what the stable is for. Release the beta update at the scheduled time and anyone not finished with their project must wait! Ppl affected by the missing unit should reside to stable.
  2. Are you saving the mission list every time you add a new mission to the list, or even when removing one. I believe that is necessary. Have never seen this problem on my servers (6 servers).
  3. Select menu “Scan for new games”
  4. Open advanced settings in The webgui and select start on load (or something in that direction). Then save settings, then select restart. Make sure you also save the mission list.
  5. Yes. If you are trying to create several server instances you must use the DCS.exe file and also add the server and dedicated switches along with the w switch.
  6. Completely depends on the mod type. If you load the mod in single player by adding it to the base DCS application folder then you do the same once on the server. If the mod for single player loads from a sub folder of saved games then you need to create the same folder structure in each dedicated server instance. Hope this helps. :)

No no, I did not mean that! You just misunderstood the use of the Save Profile button. ED should really rename these buttons to "Backup Profile to file" and "Restore Profile from file", would remove any confusion.

First, stop DCS World completely so it is shut down before doing anything! You are mixing up the files that DCS saves automatically with the files you use "Save Profile As" files you save for yourself. DCS saves all settings automatically, there is no need to use "Save Profile As". I have previously suggested that you remove the X52 files from the "Joystick" folder and make a new one for the X52 by letting DCS save it automatically. Then you will learn that DCS only saves changes you do the profile and that the profile file has the same name as the profile row in GUI settings. You seem to not understand this fact. All the saver profile files are text files that only contain "differences" you are doing to each aircraft profile, that is why the files are named "diff". They are regular text files you can open and look at but please please do not try to edit and save them as this will definitely bring you water over your head. Use the DCS World GUI settings and profile editor. All profiles in DCS have "Game" and "Sim" but if you are not playing in "Game" mode you don't need to bother about the "Game" profiles. DCS "Game" is a completely separate "Game" in DCS where you are playing in 3rd person view, don't use it. UH1H Gunner is, of course, the keyboard/joystick profile that DCS is saving automatically for you when you do changes to the Gunner side in the Huey. It has multiple seats!

Make sure you don't assign the same button on one Saitek profile and you also have assigned it in DCS, that will be trouble. Also, I always disable "Clutch mode" in the Saitek control panel so I can use the pinkie button as a modifier in Saitek software.
  10. They should make it so these files could be saved in the saved games folders.
  11. Editing this file will break integrity check?

No. If the driver change name in DCSWorld you just rename the files you have to the new name. You only need to do one assignment and check the joystick folder. Good luck.

And, happy 1st Mai to you all as well. Windows 10 has problems with the Saitek drivers and software because Microsoft has added some driver certification software that blocks unregistered driver and also prevents the use of unregistered software. You need to switch all these protective settings off. Turning them off will have an impact on the security of your system so you must understand what you are doing.

No. check my FINE Trim using the X52 Pro software. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=82773 You can there create shorter key press and it works for all aircraft.

The name of the joystick device can change in DCS if you update or remove the joystick driver.

Right picture is the correct folder. Move all files from that folder to test. Then do a setup of the F-15 axeas in settings, press OK and go out of DCS. Then you should see the file with the correct name in the F-15 folder. Then you can find out who of the files you should use. Then make all joystick files for all aircrafts the same name.
  17. Make sure you are using a newly created mission as using old ones will make the server stall. Create a brand new simple mission and use that first.
  18. I would actually suggest ED does a new product like MAC and call it DFS for Digital Flight Simulator and fill it with Cessnas and all the other commercial and private aircraft that are not combat based.

There is no folder to uninstall the driver. You must select the X52 in control panel. Right-click it and select "properties". There you will see the "driver" and you will there somewhere have a button saying "uninstall".

You can also get the old name on the device back by uninstalling the driver you did install with Logitech.

  22. Great! Thanks
  23. And how does one do "Combat" in a Cessna? Dropping molotov cocktail?

Everything is saved in "Config\Input". Just copy that folder to a backup drive. Or invest in backup software that does all this for you automatically. Dutch: Alles wordt opgeslagen in "Config \ Input". Kopieer die map naar een backup-station. Of investeer in back-upsoftware die dit allemaal automatisch voor u doet.
  25. The active pause is designed just for doing what Wags is doing in training videos, it is completely useless for anything else. If you really are into learning the aircraft then start cold every time and use the time on the ground (or in orbit) to set up the systems.
