  1. This sounds fun! Sign up: TAW_OverG - Bradley I plan to stream to Twitch if you don't mind.
  2. Thanks. We now have several admins on the rcon console and 6 different instances running on two hosts. Works fine but some functions not yet functional. Thanks! One tip to headless server hosters. Don't let the local webGUI console be active in Firefox or a local browser because it takes quite some resources! Only needed to run are the DCS logo window for each instance and SRS for each server (different folders and different ports for each SRS radio) if you use radio. Even a Task Manager window takes some CPU resources so close it down!
  3. Broken in last patch.
  4. Good question but I believe they must change the user (admin) access to something located locally on each dedicated server. That is what all other dedicated servers do.
  5. Because you need to be logged in on ED shop with your server account. You also need to open TCP port 8088 on your firewall. Or if you changed the port you need to open the same port in your firewall.
  6. Hello, virtual air combat enthusiasts, As helicopter pilots have a more and more important task in our missions we are recruiting helicopter pilots to our European and North American squadrons. If you are a previous member and are currently unassigned then you can reapply as well. The Art of Warfare is a massive gaming community, comprising of many different gaming titles and thousands of active members. To get straight to the point, if you decide to be a member of TAW, we expect you to be active. The TAW DCS DIVISION today, over 110 active members from EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST, NORTH and SOUTH AMERICA. Our setup is according to USMC ranks, where all members are expected to earn ranks and medals, by contributing to the community by helping out with training pilots, making missions and briefings, aircraft skins, website content, social media content and last but not least; the always very fun daily administrative tasks that are to be expected within an organized community. We have 3 different Battalions, that differentiate by either geographical location, or type of gameplay. These Battalions are as follows: - 52nd Battalion - Location: EUROPE and MIDDLE EAST time zones - PvP style missions with all players combined and also with dedicated squadrons for international PvP Competitions, and an Aerobatics Team. They have a very Professional setup, but with having FUN and REALISM mixed in a way that can be easily combined with real life obligations. - 33rd Battalion - Location: NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST AMERICA time zones - PvP style missions with all players combined and also with dedicated squadrons for international PvP Competitions, and an Aerobatics Team. They have a very Professional setup, but with having FUN and REALISM mixed in a way that can be easily combined with real life obligations. - CVW-88 Battalion - Location EUROPE and MIDDLE EAST time zones - PvE/PvP style, Full Fidelity modules only, NAVAL Operations Oriented with 100% Hardcore Virtual Realism in their setup, procedures and missions. The requirements for joining this Battalion are a step higher than for the 52nd and 33rd Battalions, meaning you should already have experience in DCS and have a specific mindset, where the aim is to be as realistic as possible in all combat aviation topics. Before applying the CVW-88, please follow this link to read the requirements: https://tawdcs.org/battalions/hardcore/ We are always looking for dedicated Fighter pilots, Striker pilots and Helicopter pilots but now we need to complete our Helicopter squadron. We are also looking for members who love the strategic side of missions, so people who own Combined Arms (or are willing to buy it) so they can provide human JTAC, AWACS, ATC and control ground forces. There are of course limitations in DCS for the number of players that can be hosted on a single server, but we have multiple high-end servers at our disposal to accommodate numerous clients. If you join TAW DCS, as stated earlier, we expect from you to be an active member, who wants to help in any facet of a community, be friendly to all and treat every single person with respect and honour, but most of all; having fun doing realistic combat missions in the amazing and great Digital Combat Simulator software! Oh and one thing: this is NOT a game!! We expect you to attend your squadron’s weekly training sessions and our weekly larger mission events. So if after reading this, you are excited and motivated to join our TAW DCS Community, please go to the following website for more information and to sign up: http://www.TAWDCS.org Or join directly now by selecting your battalion and complete this registration form: https://taw.net/themes/taw/user/application.aspx We wish you all blue skies and hope to hear from you!
  7. You only use the local webGUI located in DCS World main program folder. Just click the index.html file. Enter 8088 or if you change the port in autoexec.cfg then you need to key in that number. To start off, just use the default 8088 port and let autoexec.cfg be empty. EDIT: The dedicated server will only show the DCS LOGO page and will seem like a crash, it is not a crash, the server has started.
  8. Yes. I have tried all different settings on the Local webGUI but none of the functions seems to work.
  9. A quick way to get all events is to look at the tacview exports.
  10. By pressing the settings icon in the webgui and selecting the advanced button you will see the mission start options.
  11. Thank you ED for the dedicated server functions that you have added. Everything works fine and we have 3 instances running on our headless server. One thing I was missing is the ability to load other mission list while the server is running. We switch between squad missions and public missions a lot and killing the server just to load another list is not very practical. Currently we are using the local web GUI to manage but I checked that the ED account also works, and it does. So I think this is an awesome start on the dedicated server and I hope you continue to prioritize development of the server functions. Thanks :)
  12. Yes starting to taste of sour milk now :music_whistling:
  13. Not much that can be wrong with this I think. Maybe check that you are running tracir as Administrator.
  14. Then you are fine as there are no assignments done that affect trackir in DCS.
  15. I don't have the Harrier but have you tried to rename the trackir Input folder? ..\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input\FA-18C_hornet\trackir
  16. No matter what the update is, the DCS documentation need a overhaul!
  17. I hope for dedicated server and that the patch will move to 2.5.5 as then there is changes to the client net connection speed settings, from manually to automatically set.
  18. It worked before the advanced flight model came along but after the release of the advanced flight model, it has never worked.
  19. Do you mean in the F10 MAP?
  20. If Logitech made the X52 Grip as a replacement to the X56 grip and made sure the twist was the same as X52 it would also make things better. Added sales also! :music_whistling: EDIT: But they need to fix the throttle stiffness.
  21. Precisely! I would never open a product on the first day of a buy to "fix" something. It's return and complain!
  22. Aha, thanks. I was not very thorough in the evaluation as I was so disappointed that the throttle was almost impossible to move and the adjusting knob just spun around without seemingly do anything. I'm sure it is a good product if you can get everything working and can adjust to the stick. I will go back to X52 Pro now.
  23. Try this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-usb-crashes/c40f66a5-ba28-4ee6-b1a6-8a77a78bc197
