I was correcting vertical shift with Reverb but it would not save the setting, view jumped back after release of zoom key also when holding all keys, but, just by pouncing on the keys I somehow seem to have a proper zoom now, bit of coincidence. I did use before the other vertical shift, left eye, right eye, offset tool (saves in MRP I think)

err, my install of latest does not zoom more than 10x When I set to 15x or 20x stays the same zoom as DCS binocular VR zoom ; modify here the first value you want to use for zoom increase $zoomFactor = 15.0 ? 10x looks better that 10x DCS binocular VR zoom, more contrast, see the Stennis deck better, btw.

There's an option somewhere - I forgot where - 'load SteamVR with program start' It appears that should be off to set App SS NOPE just checked my 'load SteamVR with program start' is OFF, my SteamVR popup does not show edit: start WMR for Steam from within steam brought up the SteamVR popup, and then start DCS and then one can set SS in SteamVR 'APP settings' under 'DCS'

There is 'Mixed Reality Portal' that auto installs by Windows when a WMR is detected and has the VR 'mirror' window and is for all WMR software, but you also need to find and install 'Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR' on Steam, so your Reverb can launch SteamVR games with 'openVR' emulation, not so much Oculus, that needs the same for Steam Vive protocol.

DCS standalone needs SteamVR installed (and WMR) to run but it won't show, DCS suppresses the SteamVR popup window (lately), which is a bore, but perhaps shows a tad faster coding.

Nothing you can do about that, gave up on that a looong time ago. My setup is for PVP, to "pretty things up" you want a 9900K CPU and a 2080Ti, nothing less. The new graphics engine would be Aerofly FS 2, razor sharp shadows, high FPS, or even War Thunder, DCS already has an 'outdated' graphics engine, or rather was busy with war planes, and there is nothing anyone can do about that. Change priorities or fly MS Flight Simulator 2020 when that arrives. That looks pretty.
