  1. You need 80%+ percent RPM to fire the gun, even more if you are low level to generate enough pressure for the gun to operate
  2. You need to disable parking brake to be able to move throttle
  3. Make sure your stick isn't making small left inputs. Now, the AFC allows for small corrections to be done with the stick, so if your stick is not good and makes some inputs while you are not touching it, that might be the reason why are you experiencing this. Most basic way to test this is to add some deadzone to the stick and see if this still happens
  4. This was changed in the latest update. Not it's a switch rather than a knob. Apparently that's how it is on the real aircraft, but it's bugged currently so good luck operating it. Clicking on it cannot yield one-by-one degree change and using the keyboard command just sends it into a constant spin until it's clicked.
  5. IIRC that's supposed to be your visor, and it happens when you change FOV to such wild value... If you press visor down while zoomed out like this, will all of the screen be tinted like that?
  6. Only god knows that. That countdown goes like this. 0 (outer circle) -> 100 -> 0 (center of the zone in EHSD) -> 100 -> 0 (inner circle) I tend to disregard those numbers as there isn't documented what does that represent so I just use the unwinding thingy on HUD and release bombs from between 9 and 6 o'clock which seems to yield best results. There really is a need for a manual, depicting exactly what RB have implemented. A bunch of stuff is lost in translation what works on a plane and what the thing is supposed to be doing on real aircraft.
  7. Apparently, that is because the point from which the course line should originate is now shown on a currently selected scale. Example, you want course from TCN station 50 nm away, but you are in 25 scale level. TCN station is now shown and so course line will not be shown. If you zoom out, then it will appear as TCN station is now visible... That's the explanation I got a while back, could that apply to your case?
  8. How are you trying to taxi off runway? What's your loadout, throttle setting and nozzle angle? All of that is a factor to being able to taxi off runways. Up until this update, I haven't had issue with that. However, I'm still to try out the new update and see if something changed. If anything it should be easier now as RB removed the artificial "stickyness" AFAIK.
  9. As per title, if you put TERs with 3x Mk82s, inner bombs clip through the centerline Mk84. Added zip with screenshots. They do release without damaging the plane, but that shouldn't be a valid loadout. While on topic, is there a reason why only 2x Mk82s are not allowed on rearming menu on stations that can take TERs with 3 of them? That would be an easy solution to this problem. 10. He probably means the preset loadouts that you have. They might contain weapons that are no longer available and that loadout is not valid
  11. It's not at 0, but the 30 degrees is the boundary. Set nozzles at more than 30 degrees and you won't be able to use weapons Also, it wasn't always like that, but it was a while since that was added
  12. Yes. There is DESG STP and DESG TGT meaning you can designate a steerpoint and a targetpoint. If there is not targetpoint made by any of the sensors, pressing the DESG button will designate current steerpoint. If there is a targetpoint made by any of the sensors, pressing the DESG button will designate that targerpoint and you will be able to make AUTO attack.
  13. IIRC that's how it's supposed to work. TDC depress should make target designation which should in turn make AUTO attacks possible. I do not know why is it now forced to press DESG button to make whatever you have targeted a valid target designation. It just seems like something that would never be accepted in an actual aircraft because of the completely unintuitive workflow. Btw, currently you can find your target, designate it with TPOD/DMT and after you have done all that, go back to EHSD and press DESG. That will make the target designation you need for AUTO attack to work.
  14. I really don't understand why is that such a thing. I mean, everybody uses stuff in their own way. Just look at the controls you need and bind them to the buttons that feel most comfortable to you to use. Why would you constrain yourself with the profile someone else uses just to find out some of the controls aren't mapped the way you would want it to be
  15. Just bind the controls you need to the buttons you like?
  16. Crash To Desktop. There was an issue where JDAM drops cause crashes but was fixed 2-3 updates ago
  17. Did a little test now. Put some EWRs, SD and SA-8 on the range. If I use Sidearm caged, it finds the targets harder and you basically have to point your VV on the targets location for the Sidearm to pick it up. If I use Sidearm uncaged, it gets a lock on EWRs from ~11nm To me, that sounds right. Also, I could uncage -> cage -> uncage Sidearm without issue
  18. Keep in mind that the sidearm doesn't have range as a HARM for example. It's just a little sidewinder that tries to be self-protection anti radiation missile. You started to get a lock only when you got at about 10nm which sounds right. When you were farther away it just couldn't lock that radar.
  19. Can you post a track file of your attempt? That way it will be much easier to see what have you been doing and to pinpoint the issue
  20. I believe that's true for when you have TPOD in INS mode. When you make TPOD go in a "TPOD" mode by pressing SSS depress 2 times, it will no longer be slaved to the INS as it's doing its own designations JDAM drops are easy for the TOO mode. First press that DESG button to box it. Master arm On -> A/G mode -> Set fusing. After that, find the target with the TPOD and pres WINC for more than .8 seconds and it will make target designation. Then just fly in a release zone and press weapon release. To target something else, you only need to slew TPOD to the next target and press weapon release when in range. No subsequent long WINCs are neccessary
  21. Apparently it still doesn't work correctly as I think I have seen multiple different threads that if you make a system designation it should automatically box the DESG as it creates a designation.... More on that here https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/licensed-third-party-projects/razbam/av-8b-n-a/7145331-what-was-fixed-in-the-latest-patch-relative-to-ehsd-desg-and-auto-bombing As for the TPOD being stuck in slave mode, what do you mean by that? Casmo did a great jos explaining some of the stuff that got changed. Try to watch it and see if clarifies things
  22. Yeah, the changes were quite substantial and have caught a lot of folks unprepared. They have made a post about it here:https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/licensed-third-party-projects/razbam/7121409-razbam-2020-q4-update TPOD now works in 2 modes. INS and HTC and you cycle between them by 2x SSS depress under .8 seconds. Also, it is now mandatory to have the "DESG" boxed on the EHSD to have release cues showing up, so it is something I presume you missed from what I've seen here
  23. That works, I've used it in a mission couple of weeks ago. Place that FARP, added 2 trucks to enable rearming and refueling and that's it. Took off from a highway in Oman :)
  24. When you drop last of the same type of ordnance, the position on the MPCD stays boxed, but the type of ordnance disappears. Example, you have 2 Mk82s. You select them and MPCD shows "82" boxed. When you drop last of the 82s, the "82" disappears, but the box remains until you select next ordnance or press that button again. Screenshots and track file provided. SpendOrdnanceStaysBoxed.trk
  25. @flo57100 If by hit probability you mean that countdown you see on a HUD, that is not a hit probability. Currently when flying from the outer ring of the LAR to the inner ring, you will see the countdown go like this: 0 (outer ring) -> 100 - >0 (middle of the LAR) -> 100 -> 0 (inner ring), so I really don't know what is that supposed to represent I found that releasing JDAMs when the unwinding thingy on the HUD is somewhere between 9 and 6 o'clock, that gives best result. If you don't want to use that as a reference, then drop them when you are in the middle of the LAR by referencing EHSD
