  1. It's DMS left long, but for that to work, you need to turn it on by using the switch that is located on the right side, next to the seat, below the Tacan controls iirc
  2. This is intentional, but it's also stupid as the chock would realistically be removed just before you start to taxi. They are there to keep the aircraft in place considering it's got that stupidly powerful engine. What you can do if you forgot to remove them and you completed all your checks is to turn on APU, connect ground power and then just turn off engine, remove chocks and turn it back on. Alignment will be stored as with all of your settings
  3. Ok. It could be bugged and it wouldn't surprise me at the slightest. I just asked if you are testing without wind as the bomblets are affected by it so that could mess with your testing. If you can reproduce it with 0 wind, post a track file and hopefully it will be reported in the next couple of months given how RB are keen on showing up on the forums after the update.
  4. Just to make sure, you are testing with 0 wind?
  5. While this is true, I don't think RB has modeled laser burnout. If it did, disregard my message
  6. Yes, you need to adjust your radar elevation so that radar can find the target
  7. Like really, did you read the announcement at all?
  8. If you haven't found the target with your own radar and are trying to lock up a target that's provided to you by datalink, that won't work. Make sure the target you are trying to lock has that little square, that means your own radar is seeing it and you can lock it up then.
  9. I guess the problem is that after release of the switch, the ingame switch remains in the position it was and continues to change course. The game should recognize that the switch is no longer being pressed and stop the input
  10. But, but, new shiny weapons... That'll make most of the community busy for a while. Who cares about fixing long standing bugs, it's better to implement new stuff rather than fixing broken ones Edit: I am being very sarcastic if it's not clear
  11. That is the same text as I've been seeing. I have DCS on one monitor, but have another one connected to PC, don't know if that counts as multi-monitor setup (shouldn't have)
  12. This is definitely an issue. Even on monitor 1440p resolution, when zoomed in on the MFDs I have trouble discerning what the text is saying. If I didn't know what it should have been spelled, I'd have hard time seeing that "STRS" or "AWLS" is anything but a green blob. Larger texts is better (Ground speed, cardinal directions) but everything else is just bad. @RAZBAM_ELMO Please, look at this and try to bring it to the devs as this is not acceptable and I'm having hard time believing that someone thought this is OK. Also, if it's still WiP, than it shouldn't have been released in this state as now using MFDs is a pain. I've yet to test JDAMs after update, but I can imagine checking if the inputted coordinates on CAS page are correct will be a pain.
  13. I find it barely readable even without export. Luckily I know what is supposed to be where so I don't have much issues, but dear god, if this is how it's supposed to look, it is really awful. Font is either not scaled properly or it's too thick so that fine print turns up like a green blob of what's supposed to be text. Can't imagine how VR guys are reading this
  14. Today is the patch day, so unless ED postpones it, it will land today (in a few hours).
  15. Supposed to be fixed today in the update, it is known issue. Try to see after the update how it will behave. If you will still see issues, report a bug.
  16. I would guess that this behaviour is correct, but bear in mind that I'm basing this on my Harrier knowledge (as is should work, not neccessarily ingame representation), so it might vary in the Hog. In the Harrier, when you use ARBS and want to do multiple drops, you would select appropriate number of bombs and then aim at the middle of what you want to target. That way, ARBS calculates how much bombs to release prior to that point and how much after. What you have shown in the screenshots describes just about that, so I guess it is as intended
  17. Supercarrier comms do not support Harrier procedure because Harrier first and foremost doesn't trap a wire, it does a vertical landing. Also, you come by side and not through the groove. Also you don't call the ball at the position where other aircrafts do, so I preume that's the position from which you get "no proper communication" Just disregard it, honestly. Land like you are supposed to do and hope RB works out a solution with ED for a proper Supercarrier comms for vertical landing aircrafts.
  18. Watch this and decide for yourself if the DECM pod is effective or just dead weight
  19. You have Virpil Controls and VKB. Both offer much more quality product than TM. TM is just expensive without any reasoning. Throttle is semi decent at best, stick is just heavy without being anything spectacular and their base is just utter trash.
  20. Even if they did, I'd not buy another TM product when there are much better vendors out there with more quality products
  21. This really needs to happen. It is kinda weird that in A-10 that switches are not consistent and also, they can cycle 2-pos and 3-pos switches all the way by just using left or right clicks which feels weird. To clarify: Right click moves switch up, left click moves switch down. When on the bottom or top position, further clicks in that direction shouldn't do a thing, instead you should click other button to move in the other direction
  22. This has been going on, and on, and on.... If a slew works on any aircraft other than the Harrier, I seriously doubt that this is the hardware issue. Any other response is just buying time and delaying the fix. There have been some improvements lately to the Harrier TDC axis controls, granted, but it's still not completely good. Try any diagonal movement and the TDC just fails to respond. God forbid some quick movements on the TDC...
  23. The fact you don't like it, doesn't make it right.
  24. Gun is pneumatically operated so if the engine doesn't produce enough bleed air, gun doesn't cycle/doesn't operate.
  25. To add to the question. If I have mav pointing on the target and I want to cycle to the next mav (to basically prepare both mavs on targets without having to resort to markpoints), china aft short first boresights the mav and then second press on china aft short actually switches to the other mav. Is that by design?
