Is anyone else having graphics issues in 2.7 with a silhouette of the canopy frame in the HUD, and water surface where there's supposed to be land?
-
Tuskee, be sure that OpenBeta2.7 didn't grab modules from 2.5, and then updating Stable to 2.7 grabs the 2.5 aircraft module files right back. Do a fresh install.

I couldnt' find them in defs. devices. or anything, so yeah. Hey thanks for the link to the input mods! I was able to get a single key to flip on my FLIR pod with a press and hold and back to STBY with a quick keypress. I also made my MiG-21 flaps respond to all HOTAS positions, so I'm gaming in style now!

The F-18 UFC numeric keypad is flipped compared to the 10-key. It has 1,2,3 at the top. I programmed my 48key controller to have 7,8,9 at the top to avoid confusion, so now when I go to set a new waypoint and start punching in latitude I want the 8 key to input North and the 2 key to input South. Does anyone know what .lua file or where in the DCS code does it tell the UFC keypad numbers 2 and 8 to enter N and S for the leading digit while punching in latitude for a waypoint?

well that's cool. I'll look forward to the 2.7 stable release

I have this same problem. there's a Grim Reapers video where they demonstrate the Jammer, and the labels on Caps jet are showing, wierd. My thought was there's a switch in the cockpit you have to flip to warm up that panel, but it seems that isn't the case. The labels are printed not digital. I can't find a solution anywhere, sorry that's not any help.

right, it's only about 50 degrees to either side, and 1:1 means that you wouldn't see anything past the left console in the game. Here's an image of what I'm talking about It would be very helpful to have another HMD display on the left and right monitors. Is there a way to add to a certain HMD .lua file so that the HMD display will appear on all monitors? That would be a suitable solution. Wait.. no because with three reticles on the screen all three would want to be the one the TPOD snaps to.

Controls Indicator Resize with Multiple Monitors

I luckily haven't been booted for IC fail yet for this. -
Wow, I followed the instructions and now it works! Thank you!!!

Hello All, can someone please show me where if any .lua files are located that store the loadouts info? For example, if I want to save my Loadouts and be able to enable them as a mod with OvGME, what file path will I need to route it to? If I run an update patch, or a repair I know I'll have to delete and recreate all the loadouts I want for my airframes, I'd much rather have them saved to a .lua I can enable with OvGME to save time, just like my cockpit mods. Thanks!

Hello all, and to whom it may concern. I'd like a Landing Gear Up/Down (special) option in the controls menu. This is for the Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle. You see when you have the F-18 switch plate like I have, there's a Gear Up/ Gear Down label over the forward/rightmost switch. The thing is, with the current controls settings there isn't a *(special) option that will lower the gear when the switch is flipped aft. Currently the switch will only lower the gear when the switch is thrown forward again. Thanks!

The view changes, and the HMD stays in the center of the center screen, I'd like the HMD to pan across all screens in sync with the users Track IR, so that looking to the far right or left, one doesn't have to crane their eyeballs back the other direction to see the HMD symbology. this is for 3 screen monitor setup
-
precisely, and you make a good point: x-axis headtracking is all we would really need since the screen isn't tall enough for y-axis of the HMD to be out of view. I'm not understanding what you mean by the other side being 180 degrees away, but you get what I'm trying to say. It would be really nice for multi-monitor players to have the HMD symbology actually pan over to the side monitors in collusion with the Track IR
-
You may notice the HMD display stays in the exact center of your screen when your view pans over when you turn your head with track ir. Mine does that. If you turn your head far enough you find you're having to look in the opposite direction of where you're turning your head to be able to see the HMD display. Now imagine this with multi monitors. I have a 3 screen and if I'm looking at the far right corner of my right monitor (trying to set my tpod to a target I've just overflown) the HMD display is still right in the center of my middle screen, and I can't see any of it. It would be nice if they added an option to allow that HMD display to move across the screen in the direction your looking, along with a slider bar , or axis curve, in the settings page that allows me to set the velocity of it's movement, or in other words a multiple of degrees in Movement for every degrees of turn my track ir is turning.

I use Track IR, and when I move my head the screen view moves too, showing me the side of the cockpit or sky I'm looking at, as you all know. When the HMD / HMCS is on it remains in the middle of the screen no matter where I look. It would be great to have an option in the settings for X and Y axis acceleration of the HMD/HMCS display so users can set it to follow their gaze as they use Track IR. It would be far easier to use when setting TPOD markpoints, SPI, etc.

ok I was just puzzled, because the line on my SRS overlay said 225.000 MHz FM and I couldn't raise anyone on it, or change it to AM, I dunno what was going on. I'll try to replicate it and throw a screenshot or track up on here
-
I tuned my Comm2 radio to 30.000 FM to communicate with a Flight of A-10C IIs which worked fine, but when I tried to change the frequency to 225.000 AM the 4th UFC option didn't even light up and pressing it's button didn't switch the band from FM to AM. Is this a bug or is there a step I missed?

I found that LShift + LCtrl + Y disables the chat, makes it disappear. And to get it back the only think that works is a LShift + Tab or LCtrl +Tab But if you press LCtrl + LShift + Y it will stay hidden. You can edit this keybind in the UI Layer settings which is the last item in the drop down menu for which airframe controls tab you're editing in the settings menu.

ok thanks, I just decided to use the F10 map to do GCI.

Copy all. I found that the ADF works fine when I punch in a beacon freq that is in 100s of Megahertz. I'm guessing these are VOR indicators. And it works, it places a bubble on my HSI that points in the direction of the beacon. I even figured out that after I turn ADF off I can hit the squelch UFC option button to turn off that incessant static sound.
