  1. I need help getting helios connected to DCS, I'm at the point where I need to add the Helios folder and export.lua to my Saved games/Scripts folder, but I can't find those files anywhere to download them.
  2. I know, right? I have a growing list of .lua changes to make after every update or repair Thanks all, this is great.
  3. Downloaded the App, the instructions I found in the help section on your website helped me customize the position and size of the kneeboard on each of my aircraft. I have a 3 screen and now the kneeboard is in view near the center, I don't have to turn to look at the far edge of the monitor. Thank you much!
  4. Okay, and what are Clara, and Flight Kiss Off? Thanks Swift.
  5. When Marshall calls this out what does it mean and when do I respond?
  6. So the X52 has this problem often. Users in other forums have the off center problem occur making the plane roll and pitch uncontrollably. Here's a useful tip for anyone reading: if you get the offset center just unplug the cable that links your X52 stick to the throttle, then plug it back in. it will reset the center and you don't have to quit the game and reboot your PC! It works, I just tried it. Simply unplug the PS-2 cable between the throttle and stick (at either end) and plug it back in again. This solves the frustrating problem of random offset centering immediately without having to do a reboot. https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/246159-x52-stick-centering-problem/&do=findComment&comment=4735512
  7. It looks like my Comms switches were double bound to the keys and X52 program. I connected my HOTAS directly to a USB as well as my keyboard to speed up the connection to the X52 software. Thanks for the tip and that link. Lots of helpful info there.
  8. I'm running the X52, which lately works fine with the F-16. In the F-18 however I get times when my stick doesn't respond, and then suddenly does, and the diamond on the controls indicator goes way off center and gets stuck there. I wonder, if this is just my USB connection failing suddenly, and then reconnecting which tricks the X52 into readjusting the center. If any other Logitech users have noticed the same bug, if you have any advice for me please share, or if you know of a USB splitter that is highly reliable please tell me the make and model. thank you.
  9. I like to flip on the HUD only mode to look down, like an F-35 HMD can do. With the Hornet the MPCD screen overlay is right in the middle though. Anyone know the location of the HUD only (F1 alternate view) .lua so I can make it not show that?
  10. I restored the old version and set it to delay updates as long as possible. They had it fixed by the time my pc updated again and now the logitech software works fine
  11. that's great, thank you.
  12. Where can I read my G force in a turn? it isn't under the mach number indicator on the left side of the HUD
  13. Take advantage of the 30 degree offset for a Case III approach! Haha JK
  14. You'd have to, that or mouse-click all radio messages which can be a hassle. Happy skies, anyhow.
  15. Are you sure that your TPOD (FLIR) DDI screen is set as SOI (sensor of interest) and are you trying to target for CCRP, if so, make sure your A/G mode is set to that.
  16. Okay I see now. On the 162nd Vipers 2nd server (Persian Gulf) I was hit by guns in the fuselage and it drained all my fuel in less than a minute. I suppose it's just the wing tanks that could use an update on fuel loss model.
  17. To anyone who would like a cougar mfd for the lower, center MPCD, if be willing to go in 50/50 on a new set of two. I'd be glad to make the purchase and ship one to you, or vise versa; I'll send the $ for one plus the shipping cost to send one unit me, either way. let me know
  18. Saturday in the 162nd Caucuses server I was hit by AAA in my starboard wing leaving visible holes all over, yet the fuel DDI page showed a stable 110 pounds in the right wing tank. It would be a good challenge to have a fuel loss model for the Hornet, like the Frogfoot does, for added realism. Thanks
  19. Sounds good, I'll try that, thanks
  20. When I let the flaps down my nose rises and It's a rough transition into on-speed AOA. I have to push the nose down to keep from climbing but that only adds airspeed. Any tips on how to enter on speed aoa smoothly?
  21. Maybe the LST switches off after each LGBU drop to keep from burning out, because pilots forget to do it, anyways. Looking forward to more stable tpod updates for the Hornet
  22. TPOD is buggy lately. On startup the VVSLV is there but goes away and doesn't reappear after light use. Uncage sends it pointing aft, double tapping NSW/ undesignate doesn't boresight/snoplow, I have to flip FLIR to STBY and back on to get a boresight and the laser designator switch flips off after every use, I don't know if that's authentic.
  23. For reference the predator lases continuously. If you drop in the right distance away per your altitude it will ride in. I found that a 6nm away drop at angels 20 works Do you know if I should do a DCS repair if my F-16 CCRP bomb line doesn't center, and it gives no countdown to drop, or pickle cue?
  24. I noticed there are no radio calls to the Predator drone, and when I approach I don't see any specific indicators on my TGP, or HSD that show any link with the Predators laser, even though my bomb codes match it's laser code. So how do I drop GBU-12s on a target lased by the Predator drone?
  25. At first release it worked. GR guys had it working in their CCRP videos made 8 months ago, after recent updates it isn't working though. I tried today, successfully entering a steerpoint at the center of a ground group, using the DED, but still, even with HUD as SOI the Rdr cursor switch won't adjust that steerpoints position or the bomb fall line. It will be nice if they fix it, and while they're at it get the HUD to cage/ Uncage to align the pitch degree scale, FPM to not drift with the wind.
